As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

Moomin37 · 30/06/2016 17:44

That all sounds encouraging Boggle Smile Keep DTD and we'll be right here to do the waiting with you!

EllaMenoPea · 30/06/2016 17:48

All sounds good boggle was thinking you'd ov today after that scan! Good luck! When is test day?

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 30/06/2016 18:27

Oh good! I'm so glad you guys think it's ok. I've never felt these symptoms before, like ever! I think I'll take a test on the 17th. We dtd last night and will do tomorrow as well so should be plenty o sperm hanging about! I've got 3 FRER tests ready and waiting (1 is obvs not enough) xxx

RobberBride · 30/06/2016 21:45

Sounds good Boggle.

Bad news, good news. Bad news is AF arrived today. Good news is my CD 21 progesterone level was 191 (!) so it sounds like it wasn't a progesterone issue.

I'm due to fly to Europe on 14th July for a week (all paid for in Jan, we'd lose a grand if we cancel). Clinic won't let me start a cycle if I'm going away. Wwyd out of these options?

  1. Go away, take progesterone while away, have bleed when back, start next menopur on 22nd July
  2. Take my remaining 100mg clomid in long protocol form, and hope that that plus the fact that I've just done a menopur cycle successfully (ie I ov'd) might remind my body how to ov by itself. I can have a progesterone test when I'm back. If progesterone shows I didn't ov, take norethisterone to get bleed, start next cycle at beginning of August
  3. Take a month off and hope that my body ov's by itself
  4. Cancel holiday, lose £1k, start cycle on Mon.

I think DH and I need the holiday, we won't get another chance til November with various work project deadlines. I can't decide. I'm shattered and I keep crying. This fucking sucks.

EllaMenoPea · 30/06/2016 21:49

Shit robber I'm so so sorry Flowers

Honestly if you feel able to I would have a month off, enjoy your break without looking at the cycle day and crack on as soon as you're back. But I obviously understand if a month feels like a lifetime right now.

YouBoggleMyMind · 30/06/2016 21:53

Defo don't cancel your holiday robber. It sounds as though you need it.

Are you edging towards a certain option?

Xxx

RobberBride · 30/06/2016 22:03

Thank you. DH is in London getting an award at a swanky do tonight, so I'm glad for the virtual flowers and hand holding!

I think I'm leaning towards clomid... the long protocol 100mg has some evidence for kickstarting cycles if it follows an ovulatory cycle. It would feel like I'm doing 'something' even while having a break, iyswim?

RobberBride · 30/06/2016 22:04

I am so grateful for all of the women on this thread Flowers

YouBoggleMyMind · 30/06/2016 22:10

I was thinking you could do the clomid on holiday too. At least you know you're doing something and relaxing at the same time!
Always here to look after you robber. You wonderful women have been my saviours over the last few months of ups and downs WineWineStarFootballChocolateFlowers

eskimoflo · 30/06/2016 22:24

Hello all, just checking in to find that I have more follicles to cheer on! Boggle exciting, exciting times! I'm so glad that things are happening for you! We're all here on the sidelines cheering you on with bottles of pineapple juice and tubes of pre-seed Grin Grin

Robber 191???!!!! WTF?! That's insane! I'm not sure what I would do, but I definitely wouldn't cancel my hol in your situation- we need that shit to keep us going! I reckon I would have to be doing something, so I think I'd probably take the clomid or the Norethisterone/Menopur, whichever you think is most likely to work, and whichever you would regret least if it didn't work (if that makes sense?)

Waves to everyone else.

PS, I sneezed violently earlier and a bit of pee came out. It begins... Shock Note to self: Must start exercising pelvic floor more often.

Much love x x

YouBoggleMyMind · 30/06/2016 22:27

How are you feeling boggle? Any more ov symptoms?

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 01/07/2016 20:44

No other symptoms really. I was very crampy and bloated last night but it seems to have gone today. I presume yesterday was when I ovulated. Still, we'll keep dtd until next week some time. I'm having my progesterone blood test on Friday xxx

YouBoggleMyMind · 01/07/2016 21:04
