When to expect period - Provera

As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient

I've got it ready and waiting... it's the next step on from Clomid. Start taking it on day two and then first scan is day eight.

So just finished AF and now waiting for my scan on the 19th. How are you getting on Moomin and Ella?

Had a cry at work yesterday. There was me thinking i'd got away with no side effects and being a hormonal wreck. Apparently not! Xxx

Just came back from first scan...lining looks thicker and there's three follicles measuring 9mm which looks OK for this CD so fingers crossed they have grown by Friday.

Yes, i've been having hot flushes at night! Waking up in a sweat but it's actually not been that warm!! xxx

Yes, I've got another scan in Friday to see if they've grown, I had 3 scans last time IIRC.

I'm on CD 9 but my AF is only ever 5 days?

I am also on CD8 but before now, i'd not had AF in over a year. My one and only scan is on Monday 19th. TBH, i'm not holding much hope for this cycle. There are so many things that need checking. Cycle length, dosage, FSH, LH, Progesterone.

:( I feel rubbish about it all.

You really do never know, especially if you've been given Provera so you'll be taking Clomid on the right days.

I can go up to 8 months without periods and Clomid worked for me before so I don't think that's an indication on whether it will work, I did however have all the tests first before they would prescribe Clomid last time.

Do you already have a diagnosis for why you're taking longer TC? X

I have PCOS and tests show i'm not ovulating. I've got 3 cycles of Clomid to have and then i'll have a HyCoSo (or whatever it's called) to check my tubes. Not sure what happens after that but after 2 years of TTC we qualify for IVF on the NHS. That will be July next year.

My HCG thing failed because my cervix was too small so I ended up having a lap and dye.

I had that, the Clomid and BFP within weeks, I honestly never thought it would happen, we'd been trying for two years with no ovulation.

I'm convinced it won't work this time!

They haven't grown much but my womb lining has thickened so she said there's still time and I'm having another scan Monday.

Feeling pretty disappointed and not hopeful to be honest.
