Anyone ttc baby #2?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, ttc baby #2 (1st cycle) and already driving myself wild with the tww. I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was so relaxed about baby #1 that the constant nagging thoughts about am I / aren't I are completely new to me and are making me feel anxious with symptom spotting.

Thought I'd see if there is anyone to talk to on here as my husband is quite matter of fact about there being nothing we can do to find out except for being patient - I know, he's infuriating right.

It'd be great to buddy up if anyone else is in a similar position.

boo! just got some IC in the post and BFN. Never mind! Must shag harder!

HoggleHoggle · 01/10/2015 13:00

Sorry jelly Sad

TurquoiseCat · 01/10/2015 21:10

Boo jelly - next time for sure though Wink

YY to the symptom spotting. It doesn't help that my period symptoms are closer to my pregnancy symptoms than ever before - I get all excited with my sore boobs for nothing!

Hi can I join in. We're now on our 3rd cycle TTC number 2. It took us nearly 2 years to conceive number one so not expecting anything to happen quickly this time. I'm now 1day PO with a 26day cycle, previously had the mirena coil but since it's been removed I've been as regular as clockwork. Fingers crossed for this cycle. Congratulations on all the BFP on this thread already, hoping some luck rubs off on me!

HoggleHoggle · 02/10/2015 09:11

Fingers crossed becks

It's taking all my willpower to not POAS today.

AF is late now but given the other tests I've lost hope a bit for this cycle.

JellyBaby26 · 02/10/2015 11:24

Well another day has passed with no AF ...

Anyone ttc baby #2?
HoggleHoggle · 02/10/2015 11:48

Yay!!!! Congratulations.

How late were you in the end?

JellyBaby26 · 02/10/2015 12:06

2 days today. IC still very feint as well!

Straws should be clutched at!

beckslovestimmy · 02/10/2015 12:12

Congrats Hoggle!! I only had a pale line with my first when testing on the day AF was due, I don't remember it getting any darker really. How exciting for you, how do you feel? X

beckslovestimmy · 02/10/2015 12:14

So sorry Hoggle, meant Jelly. Who knows you might be next. How long will you wait to POAS? Beer have any will power!

HoggleHoggle · 02/10/2015 12:17

My cycles are slightly irregular so I was either due AF on weds or today. I POAS weds and thurs, both negative, so I'm trying to wait until tomorrow - if it's still negative then then I'll take that as confirmation, otherwise I keep kidding myself that it might just be a bit too early!

If it hasn't happened this cycle then I will be massively pissed off with my body - it's giving me loads of pg signals and frankly mugging me right off.

JellyBaby26 · 02/10/2015 12:24

I had a feeling I was but I am so surprised. DD Is only 18 weeks old and my periods had just returned.
I think you know when your pregnant. Last time I had horrific acne so not looking forward to that!

jp0303 · 02/10/2015 12:57

Yay Jelly! Amazing! Congratulations.

It's so frustrating that pregnancy symptoms are so similar to pre period symptoms. It's hard to to go crazy with it all!

Loki17 · 02/10/2015 16:05

Congrats, Jelly!

fancyferret · 02/10/2015 19:18

Congratulations mrsmugamoo and Jelly wow loads of BFPs! Fingers crossed for everyone due to test soon.

Latium123 · 02/10/2015 21:13

May I join you ladies? I am TTC #2. DD has just turned a year old and I am still BFing her. AF just returned one month ago. Current AF is due tomorrow so have just been in the TWW. Hard to tell symptom-wise as I have been experiencing quite bad nausea on and off on return of AF (I assume because I am still BFing and the hormones are going crazy) but the GP wasn't sure that would be the cause. Anyhoo, just wanted to say hello, massive congratulations to the BFPs so far. I love seeing the second line appearing, lovely pics. Good luck to everyone else.

beckslovestimmy · 02/10/2015 21:51

Hi Latium welcome to the thread.

jp0303 · 03/10/2015 08:11

I POAS this morning…BFN Sad I am so confused as have been feeling nauseous, had sore boobs for ages, have had a couple of dizzy spells, which are all unusual for me. On the look out for AF now and have resigned myself to needing to try again next month. Oh well. Shame to break the lucky streak!

Any other results from this weekend?

HoggleHoggle · 03/10/2015 08:15

Also BFN for me too SadAngry

I have resigned myself for this month and just wish AF would hurry the fuck up.

beckslovestimmy · 03/10/2015 08:39

Sorry to hear that jp and Hoggle. Here's wishing you the best of luck for next cycle. It's so frustrating isn't it!

Loki17 · 03/10/2015 08:46

I'm only 4/5dpo and I've started spotting Sad. My stupid cycles are such a mess. If I got my positive opk Tuesday then I start counting dpo from Wednesday don't I? in which case, at 4 dpo it is far to early for implantation. In any case, if this turns into a full af I'm completely out. I'm so sad.

JellyBaby26 · 03/10/2015 09:16

I only got my bfp when I was 2 days late so there is hope for you yet!

HoggleHoggle · 03/10/2015 11:23

I do keep thinking of you jelly! Although also telling myself not to get hopes up.

My lower stomach is tender and is protruding a lot down towards the pelvis...all this happened at this point when I was pg with ds. But that many tests can't be wrong, surely?!

fancyferret · 03/10/2015 12:28

jp and hoggle as AF has not arrived yet there is still a chance of getting a BFP especially with those symptoms. The wait is so hard isn't it. I am not due to test until around the 14th/15th but not holding much hope for this month has DH has been away a lot on night or weekend shifts.
