happy I had a nightmare injection experience today as well! Had to inject the suprecur in the toilet at the airport in Morroco. I dropped the glass vial onto the tiled floor and it almost rolled out of the cubicle while I was sat there with my trousers round my ankles!! Shock(injecting into my leg as I've got all the others to do in my stomach, the nurse said it was better to leave room Hmm) Don't know what I'd have done if it smashed! Shock

Still no AF. Needs to arrive in full flow tomorrow or I'm going to have to cancel Monday's scan and all the provisional timings can be chucked out the window Angry.

beakybeak · 01/11/2015 09:00

Nightmare Barking! How long have you been downregging? Buserelin can delay af as well you know. I think it was Minx who had to down reg for 5 weeks in the end. Fx for af to rock up soon!

SesameSparkle · 01/11/2015 16:39

grin thanks. So glad your blood tests finally came up clear. I stopped taking DHEA the night before ET. I’m still taking all my other supplements (vits, Omega 3, antioxidants), including 600mg CoQ10.

googs glad you’ve got your appointment lined up, but sorry things are not moving as fast as they should.

water I’ve my nose pressed to the wire fence of the water park, where I can see all the people enjoying the slide, and all the people stuck in the queue, but no one’s going to let me in, cos they only sell tickets to couples...

happy shit, sorry about the cetrotide fail, that sounds really nasty. I’m sure it won’t matter though. Good luck for EC tomorrow! Everything is crossed for you! Smile

beaky thanks for all your support Smile. How are you feeling today? Have you been busy with renovations again? I hope you have some time to relax too?

barking yikes about dropping the vial, what a drama! Did you have a good holiday? Fx af behaves herself and arrives asap.

I’ve reached the horrible stage in my 2ww, where my entire fate hangs on a pee stick and there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it. I even looked up my notes of symptoms from when I got my bfp to see if I’m feeling the same now, and was just starting to think ooh, perhaps I do feel the same right now….? and then I looked up the cycles where I got bfn, and saw that my symptoms were exactly the same.... I went for a long walk in the sunshine this afternoon. So many families out too.

lucieloos · 01/11/2015 16:46

Happy, good luck for tomorrow. I'm sure your Cetrotide will be fine. Hope you get lots of eggs. I wish my nhs rounds would hurry up!

Sesame, how much longer until you test? How many dpt are you now?

Smidge001 · 01/11/2015 21:45

Good luck for EC happy. Hope it goes well. Have you managed to let work know yet?

tigerdog · 02/11/2015 08:56

sesame hope you're managing to hang in there. Flowers When is OTD and when do you plan to poas?

Congratulations water, a very short stay indeed in Berry HQ! Good luck and everything crossed for you.

smidge how's things with you?

beaky hope you're ok under the duvet of despair Cake.

Not much to report here. 3D sis tomorrow, then Mr T will repeat his SA in a couple of weeks and our long awaited follow up is on 19th. I'm really hoping that, by then it's just a case of being given our protocol and a start date. It would make Christmas a little easier if I knew that things would be getting underway asap in Jan.

Hope everyone is ok and that Monday isn't too painful. I'm working from home and plan to stay in my pjs until at least lunchtime!

SesameSparkle · 02/11/2015 11:37

happy how did you get on?

tiger ‘wfh’ in your pjs? You’re making me jealous! Grin What’s happens at a 3D scan? Hope it goes well tomorrow.

OTD is not till Friday, but I’ve already tested and got bfn. Sad Yes, I know it is still very early, but this time my body’s also telling me that my progesterone is falling and my ‘symptoms’ from a couple of days ago are disappearing. I will keep testing, but I’m preparing for the worst. I heard of so many women who got sticky bfps in the cycle after an mc, I was really hoping that despite all the odds, that could happen to me.

beaky if you’re feeling any better, perhaps you might give us a lend of your duvet?

lucieloos · 02/11/2015 11:48

Happy, hope your collection went well!

Sesame, how many dpt are you? Did you use a frer? Fingers crossed its just too early.

beakybeak · 02/11/2015 12:23

Tiger hope the 3dsis goes well. Not long til your follow up really, it must be the week after next? Fx you get a date though, you have definitely waited long enough now. Enjoy pj day/working from home Grin

Sesame in crossing everything that you're too early. What dpt are you? Also remember implantation can happen late sometimes. Really really hoping for you lady.

SesameSparkle · 02/11/2015 14:31

Thanks lucie and beaky, you probably should wang me, because I am only the equivalent of 11dpo today. But that’s when I got my bfp last time and that pg wasn’t viable. But aside from the test, I remember exactly how the pg hormones made me feel early on, and my body’s suddenly sprung back to normal today. Confused I used IC’s this morning, but I’ve saved a frer for tomorrow, as if I do have any HCG at all in my system, it should hopefully pick it up by then.

lucieloos · 02/11/2015 14:43

It's way too early for an Internet cheapy. If it had been a frer i would have said possibly too early but more likely to be accurate. I think you would be very lucky to get anything on a cheapy at 11dpo though. Good luck with the frer.

happylass · 02/11/2015 19:38

Oh Sesame I agree it's too early to test yet but I completely understand the temptation. Hang on in there we all know how tough it is Flowers
EC went well this morning. We got 8 eggs, which I'm delighted with considering I didn't even respond just 2 months ago. Apologies if anyone wants to sleep tonight - I'll be blasting out Barry at full volume Grin

lucieloos · 02/11/2015 20:29

Wow happy that's brilliant!! What's the secret? We had 7 on our first round which was only in April but I just can't seem to get near that now. Good look for fertilisation.

beakybeak · 02/11/2015 20:53

Woowoo happy get Barry blasting out! Fx for good fertilisation!

Sesame I've still got my fx, there's no telling whether you'd feel the same I reckon, so I'm passing the duvet to you but you have to stay on the hammock of hope with it mind!

happylass · 02/11/2015 21:08

Lucie we got 8 on our first go and 11 on our second, but that was fuelled by aspirin and fertilisation wasn't great. I'm thinking 8 is about my limit and I'll be over the moon if we can get 5 or 6 fertilised. If I knew the secret I'd be a millionaire! The only thing I do (which incidentally I didn't do on my cancelled cycle) is drink high protein drinks during stimms. I usually stop after EC but I'm going to carry on this time. It probably doesn't make s blind bit of difference but, at this point, I'll pretty much try anything!

OP posts:
lucieloos · 02/11/2015 21:23

Thanks happy, I try to drink a couple of protein shakes a day during stimms as well. I just wish we could get one more decent cycle.

SesameSparkle · 02/11/2015 22:02

That's good news happy! Grin Barry and the spice girls are at the ready! Hoping for some lovely fertilisation news in the morning.

Thanks berries. Looking on the bright side....No signs of bleeding yet, so looks like at least the luteal support must be working this time.

barkingtreefrog · 03/11/2015 00:41

Great haul happy Grin

sesame it's such a shit time, the mental never leaves you. Hoping it's just too early Flowers

Well, my cycle has been cancelled. Was supposed to be my baseline scan today to see if I could start stims but AF never showed. Got a bfp instead.
Nurse thinks the suprecur triggered my hormones and the combination of the scratch and the intralipids helped implantation. Still a looong way to go before I can get even a little bit okay about it though. Been here twice before.
I was hoping to get a bfp on a heavily medicated cycle, but I'm on CD 33 and only today started the prednisalone, fragmin, and progesterone. Booking another intralipids infusion for next week. Had a blood test instead of the scan today and hcg is 92. Means nothing on it's own, hcg was fine last time. Have to wait another week for a second blood test to see what's happening.
So, there you go. Totally numb. And insomnia is my new friend.

GrinAndTonic · 03/11/2015 01:24

Morning all
Just a quick visit to say hello and see how everyone is. It is exam week and I am procrastinating way to much (anyone want to do my biology and anatomy and phys exam for me?) Only news from me is that I start injections on Sunday! Hooray for hot flushes, constipation and bloating Grin

lucieloos · 03/11/2015 07:23

Omg, barking that's amazing news! I really hope this works out for you. Another brilliant fufc! Keeping everything crossed!

lucieloos · 03/11/2015 07:40

Who was it that did embryo banking on here a little while ago and then threw the kitchen sink at transfer with full immunes etc?

SesameSparkle · 03/11/2015 08:21

Amazing news barking! Grin Have everything crossed for you!

happylass · 03/11/2015 08:37

Wooohoo Barking!! Grin
Lucie it was Lady Wild and her kitchen sink.

OP posts:
lucieloos · 03/11/2015 10:40

Ah that's right thanks happy! What was her full user name? I just wanted to look back at what she used as when the time comes I also want to throw the kitchen sink!

beakybeak · 03/11/2015 10:46

Brilliant news Barking crossing everything for you.

Sesame how are you feeling today?

Happy how did Barry do with his love crooning?

Grin I feel your pain, boo to exams. I much prefer an assignment but even then...! Good luck anyway.
