Please can I join? Currently ttc #2 after 2 early mc. It took me 7 months to conceive DD1 after a mmc so expecting it to take a few months but this is cycle 1 of trying again!

MamaLazarou · 30/06/2015 08:17

Good luck, RtFairy! I'm sorry for your losses. Flowers

I'm 20 months in to ttc #2 after 2 mcs. Planning to POAS on Friday. Fighting to stay positive!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/06/2015 09:41

Thanks keys, I'll try my best not to get too disappointed...i won't really know until the day AF is due! X

Welcome newbies, sorry for your losses, good luck with ttc your #2's...I'm still working on #1 hehe! X

My throat is so badly swollen today, may have to go to doctors Sad, but don't want to take any antibiotics just in case I turn out to be pg!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/06/2015 09:44

I agree keys...im actually glad I had a cycle first, despite being disappointed. Perfect him for new pregnancy now x

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/06/2015 09:46

'home'

Tftpoo · 30/06/2015 10:54

Hi rtfairy, sorry for your loss, fx for this cycle. I had a mmc three weeks ago and have just had a +opk over the weekend. I'm hoping that maybe we might have done it, even though it's the we cycle. If we haven't done it this month, I think I'll feel ok as in a way it would be nice to have AF so I know everything is ok in there.

Hope your throat gets better soon paws.

There's so much waiting in this whole ttc business! Hoping for bfps for all you testing in the next few days. Keeping in touch with what's going on with you will hopefully make my own 2ww go a bit quicker!

Mummyofonesofar · 30/06/2015 11:01

Paws sorry for the PMS but in a few days you will get an accurate test, keep smiling! I would recommend taking folic acid as you’ll never get enough of it in your diet to reduce the effects of spina bifida. Sorry you’re feeling poorly, feel better soon – but sore throat is a symptom too Grin

Sakura you keep your head up too! Don’t worry about your age, you were pregnant before, and you will be pregnant again and get your baby

keys first school trip is hard, but I bet she has a great time and is really pleased you sent her!

fairy sorry you are here but welcome x

Good luck for testing Friday Mama

Had a reallly shit baby bomb last night, a friend who I confided in my pregnancy and mc just announced she is 12 weeks so got pregnant 1.5 weeks after me. They weren't even trying - had an accident. She didn't even tell me personally just posted it on facebook. Felt like a stab in the chest to read it and cried so much last night. So just booked a holiday to bulgaria in 8 weeks time to give me something to look forward to Grin

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/06/2015 13:18

Thanks tft, you never know, you may have done it, fc for you. But its not all bad having 1 AF before another pregnancy so chin up...it s good news either way xx

Sorry about your friend mummy, must have been a shock! A holiday sounds good, that's what we are doing end of September 'pregnant or not'! I am taking folic acid, have been since January when we started ttc before mc, I still make sure I eat as much natural folic acid from foods too though, as I think the more natural the better. I hope you're right about the sore throat. I'm in bed on a lovely day like this!... Figured in not allowed to sunbathe as it would raise core body temperature? X

MamaLazarou · 30/06/2015 19:46

Thanks mummy and many sympathies to you: I know EXACTLY how you feel as my sister has been with her new boy friend for six weeks and announced her pregnancy yesterday. It's her sixth pregnancy (she has 3 DC) and they have all been accidents! I'm struggling with the 'happy for you' public face while privately ranting at DH - it's SO UNFAIR!!

MamaLazarou · 30/06/2015 19:47

I think you'll be fine to sunbathe, paws. Vitamin D is good for you and any potential babies.

Mummyofonesofar · 30/06/2015 20:42

Ok paws I panicked when you said no vits!

mama completely unfair. Sorry for your baby bomb too!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/06/2015 22:41

Thanks mama, sucks when it seems so easy and accidental for others x
No worries mummy x

Sakura03 · 30/06/2015 22:54

Thanks paws, keys, and mummy your support means a lot!!!Today I went and bought a nutribullet as my old blender can't cope any more, looking forward to trying it out tomorrow morning. paws you have inspired me to get healthier, will try and see if I can get some more exercise into my daily routine. Hope your throat gets better soon.
mummy have you been to Bulgaria before? Great to have something to look forward to.

Mummyofonesofar · 01/07/2015 09:16

Sakura never been to Bulgaria before, going to sunny beach - any advice appreciated if anyone has been before!

Tftpoo · 01/07/2015 13:38

Hello everyone. Hope you're enjoying the sun, it's so flippin' hot here (but I am not moaning, it is lovely).

Could I just ask you a question? If I had a +opk on CD20 and my LP before mc was 10-11 days, would it make sense to do a pg test on CD30 this time? I'm still in the wtf cycle and didn't get a -ve pg test until 12 days after erpc so not entirely sure about dates. I was surprised to ovulate at the normal time in my cycle given that I didn't get the -pg test until 12 days after surgery. I was expecting everything to be shifted by 12 days but seem to have ovulated at exactly the same time as I used to pre mc.

Mummyofonesofar · 01/07/2015 13:50

tft I would think CD30 is too early because a + opk doesn't mean ov, it means ov soon so CD33 would be more accurate - and even then still a little early.

Tftpoo · 01/07/2015 14:16

Thanks mummy, I shall try to leave it until CD33 at the earliest.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 02/07/2015 00:40

tft I agree with mummy x
mummy I've not been to Bulgaria before but I hear its beautiful...and cheap!!!
Sakura pmsl...that made me laugh! I recently bought a nuti bullet! Best thing I ever done! I normally use a handful of spinach and kale at the bottom, a handful of frozen berries (have a butchers in frozen pudding aisle, its so convenient to always have it in the freezer for when I need it, it saves waste and money, and makes a lovely chilled smoothie!) then I add one small chopped banana (always advised for the 'creamy factor') then a couple of tablespoons of natural yoghurt and a tablespoon of 'milled flaxseed, lindseed, gogi berries' you can get them from cereal or baking aisle, full of essential fatty acids and vitamins. Then finally top up with fruit juice of your choice, as you have to add liquid of some sort...sometimes I use milk!

PHEW! sorry for ling post, but i think its such a nifty little contraption....i bet drinking pineapple juice on empty stomach in morning as its supposed to help with implantation, as do brazil nuts which I have with honey (also good for conception/implantation) ... You can tell I spend waaay too much time on google haha!

One quick question...I'm now CD 9 and could swear my nipples are getting larger? But I'm not too sure if they are simply still large from the mc/pg? ... But that was nearly 3 months ago now? Could they grow this early? Or is the size from previous???

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 02/07/2015 00:44

Crap!...not CD 9! Meant 9 dpo!

Mummyofonesofar · 02/07/2015 10:32

Paws no idea about the nipple sizes but think it must be a new sign surely - only we get the - preg test, the hormones are gone and everything is back to normal surely?! Sounds good to me anyway.

AF has buggered off already - CD4 so very pleased with that, next weekend is fertile window and actually quite excited to have an idea of how this month will pan out either way!

MamaLazarou · 02/07/2015 14:33

Friends, please help me, I am in a bit of a state. I have POASed a day early with a First Response stick and there is a faint line. Very faint. I don't know how to feel about this. Am I pregnant?

Mummyofonesofar · 02/07/2015 14:43

mama I haven't heard of frers giving false positive - do you have one for fmu tomorrow? Let's have a looksie at a photo?

MamaLazarou · 02/07/2015 14:48

Oh, thank you so much for replying. Yes, I'll see if I can atop shaking enough to get a photo, hang on...

MamaLazarou · 02/07/2015 15:00

Hope you can see this...

Mummyofonesofar · 02/07/2015 15:02
