TTC after MC#6 - the lucky one for all of us!

New thread. Hoping for lots of lovely BFPs over the coming weeks

Hi, can I join in?
I'm 36 years old (TTC#2), 4 weeks post mva, following a MMC at 9 weeks. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for the mva after the scan showed my little baby's heart had stopped at 7+5 weeks, so it feels like I've been waiting ages to get back to TTC. I bleed for 3 weeks, which I found really difficult as I don't like wearing sanitary towels, but finally the discharge stopped and this weekend I suppose we officially are back TTC. I'm not charting so no idea where I am in my cycle. I suppose there is a chance that I could get my AF this week, if I return to a 28 day cycle. that would be a pain- 3 weeks of bleeding post mc, then a week free, then back to AF! I had a little bit of ewcm this weekend but not pining any hope on ov this month. Hope 2016 is our year!

Well I caved and POAS this morning. BFN. Feeling very stupid, should have just waited a day or two.

adventure I just popped on to give a quick update - had early scan yesterday and saw our little bean with a lovely strong heartbeat Dates were right too, so I'm now 7+3. I will not relax yet, but am allowing myself to feel a little more hopeful. I hope you are all doing well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all x

carrot so sorry hun. I would of caved as well tbh. Fx was to early they double every 24-48 hours so heres hoping just not strong eough yet.

Lovely to hear from missmrs and kep and chasing- you give me hope! Glad to hear all is going well.

I'm starting to have a panic as no o symptoms at all this week. From positivity to doom all in a few days. It's a rollarcoaster. Sometimes I still catch myself in disbelief that I've had an mmc. Weird body and mind and the only thing that'll calm it all down in a wee baby. Seems as likely at the moment as seeing a unicorn flyby

red I totally understand - we can hold hands in panicking about ovulation - I haven't got any signs it's imminent either and I think I'm only a day behind you. I panic that the mmc has messed up my body totally and then try and calm down and remind myself of all the lovely sucess stories and how I'm sure we'll get there in the end.

Oh thanks disney yes let's walk this cycle together! I'm on day 4 of the flashing smiley face on the cb digi opks- I could murder it looking all happy with itself! Just have to remember all of the lovely ladies who have graduated from this thread and who continue to do so every month.

red and Disney sending you both happy thoughts! I'm with you both though on the worrying about the impact the mc has had, so frustrating! Like you so though, loads of bfps recently so there's bucket loads of hope ... We will all get there in the end.

There won't be much poasing at this end ... If I did get a bfp it would be immaculate conception im afraid! Need to crack on but just feel a bit despondent. I'm sure I'll feel better once in the swing of it again!

Thanks hunny ... I caved and tested this morning...bfn, but I think I knew it would be so god knows why I decided to torture myself, as I'm sure I'm only 9 dpo! Gonna test on Thursday, then Saturday the day before AF due...i have a feeling she would show 'on time' if i weren't pg, as I'm almost certain i O'd 9 days ago...have had a headache every day since, prickles in boobs last few days, crying, sleeping and very moody! But don't want to get my hopes up as i know how cruel our body's can be by playing tricks on us .

Think I might have got a positive on the ovulation test this evening. Not convinced I was reading it right and not sure if it would happen that soon after. I'm very in the mood anyway.

Might test again tomorrow morning at some point...I think I might start to get a bit obsesive.

Hi MissMrs, good to hear from you, we joined this thread at about the same time I think. I'm so glad everything is going well for you. I got my bfp too! I'm just under 6 weeks along but I have just passed the point at which I had my mc last time and I have lots of symptoms so I'm trying to stay positive.

red any signs of anything today? Yet another high on my lying monitor with no signs at all of ovulation coming anytime soon. Poor DP is struggling with the every other day dtd now!

red Disney so sorry about ovulation issues I have no idea whether I have or not sure I was getting faint ones last week but dont think I was doing right never used them before. Done one this morning the right way and was negative. I had a little bleed Friday -Sunday was weird never had one like it before but I am sure it was end of mc and not sure if you ovulated when your having a small bleed.

honey Oh hun probably done the right thing to be honest trying to let your body heal I rushed in then calmed down. We will be here together next month hand holding again.

Day 5 of the flashing face- argh! Disney, dobby hope there is better luck tmrw! keys it's so difficult waiting for first af in wtf cycle. I would advise being patient but that would be too rich coming from me! Hope it all settles down soon.

I posted on here recently about starting to TTC after miscarriage at wk 12. My worries about this first cycle being different to normal were unfounded as I had ovulation signs and positive ovulation kit test on day 16 (today). Which is my usual ovulation day. So have DTD today and will again tomorow. Then to keep my fingers crossed. I cant help but feel excited which is great as have until very recently felt rather subdued about trying again after what happened before.

Congrats to those on here who have gotten BFP's and best of luck to everyone who are TTC.

Any solid smiley yet red. Cd15 now and still nothing for me. I'm a little resigned to having a short luteal phase (if any) again this month. Very annoying.

No solid here disney either. CD17 but that's my solid day pre-mmc so pretty gutted....
