Anyone else 4dpo?

Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

Absolutely no boob twinges or other symptoms today. Starting to feel a bit down but also no AF symptoms which would normally have kicked in by now. Hmmmnm

Well it's all a bit boring here! Absolutely no symptoms at all and now 5dpo. I'm hoping all this not drinking has been worth it! Not feeling very positive about the whole thing anymore.

Oh no vap I feel the same! But here's a funny story to cheer us up...
Plucked up the courage to buy a clear blue digi in my local supermarket. I was going to go further a field to make sure I didn't see anyone I know. So even as I go in I'm not sure if I'll get one as I didn't know if they were on the shelves or behind the pharmacy counter. Knowing my luck the pharmacy queue would contain at least 3 of my mum's (or worse... My mother in law's) friends so I headed for the medical shelves having already picked up some random fruit and veg to try to hide the tests in my basket!!

I was a bit shocked that they were just on the shelves but also really pleased it would be easier, which meant got a whole I just stood staring at them. Not good for trying to avoid being seen getting one!! When I realised I was staring I just reached out for the digi one as I want to avoid the line/no line debate!
Feeling quite pleased with myself I strutted off to do the rest of my shopping, whilst squeezing in the test between the bananas and some unnecessary chocolate.
So then I start planning which till to go to, self service (obv as I have a friend who works there!) I chose basket self service despite a very full basket of shopping because that way there's no one queueing up behind you eyeing your shopping!
Thinking I've gotten away with it, I then walk right into a guy from my old work!!! I have a very vague conversation with him which I couldn't concentrate on as I kept glancing at my basket to check the chocolate and bananas are doing their hiding job even though I filled up the basket completely by then!
Finally get rid of him and head to the tills when I realise the test is security protected!!! And I'm at a self service til!! The last thing I want is a security guard following the WHSmith lady in inappropriate questions after I set off the alarm on the doors so I had to think quick..!
Enter the wonderful ADAM!! The lovely man working the self service section! I very quietly asked him if the test would set off the alarm. Without saying anything he just nodded, took the test sorted out the security tag thing and brought it back to me, all the time carrying the test hidden under his hand by his side!! What a star!! No extra attention whatsoever and put my mind at rest!!

What a nutter I am! Does anyone else go through this trauma?? I used to be like this buying condoms too!
Anyway, two tests ready to be po!!! Think I have to wait until Friday or Sat though as I'm due Friday. will blatantly try one tomorrow anyway!!!

Hahahaha! I love that story! Thank god for Adam! He sounds brilliant! You'll have to email the store to let them know how great he was! I'm lucky that I travel for a job and so when I so need to buy one from a shop when I've used all my IC's after wasting 4 or 5 tests convinced they must all be wrong I can do it a long way from home. Such bad luck meeting someone you knew, but also very funny! Typical! How many dpo are you again? I can't scroll back without losing my message. I'm getting so tempted to test even though I'm only 5dpo... 6dpo tomorrow though!
On a positive note my weight has dropped to the lowest in at least a year! Woo Hoo! The dry weekend has had at least 1 benefit!
Can't wait for the testers to start poas! I know I'll need to test too as soon as I hear you lot doing it!

Yes I have already decided to email in praise of Adam! Was funny trying to read his name tag without him thinking I was a complete weirdo!!

Oh and DH is totally forgiven as he just asked how I was feeling, then asked if I should think about taking a test!! Better still when I said I'd already got one he said he was going to get me one that day!! So at least he is thinking about it!

Yup, 12dpo tomorrow so going to poas first thing. Really not getting my hopes up though as I'm just testing to put my niggles to rest so I can get back to being a normal person!!

That story made me laugh achm good work on getting his name! that's part my problem that there is a chance I can get 1 test over here but it's in a shop that everyone we know goes in! Don't think I've ever been in without seeing the world and as you have to ask for them it's not like there is any way of being sly & worse I wouldn't want to be seen and NOT pregnant!

Well last month I had really bad stomach cramps the say begore AF arrived so my plan is if they arrive today I am not testing and will give it until friday. If they don't I probably will do it tomorrow! Most likely friday I think though now. Still not sure. And right now im too sleepy to concentrate. I was having a nice sleep till DH woke me up!

vap step away from the tests. You know so early they will be negative. But step away and keep on hoping like lod says. There is still a huge chance. Your body probably wont even know your pregnant yet so you shouldn't expect really any symptoms! Keep strong.

only 12dpo still a chance it could be BFP in a few days. Are you going to test agaiin or wait and see if AF arrives/is late?

Deffo just waiting for AF now. I really didn't realise how sad I'd feel, apologise to all who have been trying for a while, I totally underestimated how shitty a negative result is. Have decided that if I can bare it, no more early testing, only testing if one or two days late now. I wonder how long that will last!! Next target day 12th June ish.

Going for drinks later, feel very mixed. I should be relieved that I don't have to play the 'I'm driving' card, but also can't shake the tiny bit of me that hopes I still might be, so feel like I shouldn't drink???

achm that's the worst bit the not drinking just in case!
I hope I can hold off from doing it on sat am, it's only 9dpo so far too early and I just know if I get a bfn I'll be drinking on sat which is not a good idea. Here is to holding off until Sunday at the latest!

One thing I've just noticed by that list is you will all know in time for the weekend and so can either be sat there happy knowing you have your bfp or can go out and have a jolly good drink!

That's why I'm holding off as long as possible achm even with AF due tomorrow I'm thinking of reasons to put it off! Just don't want a BFN but then I suppose I'll be just as dissappinted when AF arrives but I found last time as soon as it did I could tell myself I was already on day 1 of my next cycle which helped me through!

List looks right vap although im not sure if I ovulated on the weds or thurs so I could be 14dpo today but I'm going on the Thursday as that when it should of been! You must be 1 week behind me vap, as I was 9dpo last sat. Try to wait just think of it as a nice break have you got anything planned that involves drinks?

Regardless of what I get BFP/BFN/AF no drinking here as got way too much work on! But should all quieten down after next week with that which I think might make ttc easier as I will be less stressed and also less tired so all ready to dtd!

I think I'm about 8dpo and I think I was on the same schedule as Fay but I'm not POanything this month though, saving my cheapies for a P-fest next month.

We are now coming into prime baby due-date season ladies (IMO) - having a spring baby was awesome, lots of coffee in the park and walks in the sunshine. Perfect.

never how are your boobs today?!

I wanted a spring baby. I said March ages ago so I suppose if not this month then atleast I might still get it next month. Just feel a bit crap today tbh, think I have some slight cramps but not sure if that's just hunger or not as not had chance to eat anything today. About to have lunch soon though so shall see if that improves it!

Oh and boobs are sore lod can't wait to take this bra off! I now remember why when pregnant I loved my maternity bras!

Hahahaha 'I'm not po anything this month' lod that made me lol!! I've calmed down a lot since this morning, still a bit down but actually I am enjoying the trying and as DH said, let's just keep having 'all the sex!!'
Also, the later in the year the due date is, the better so there is a bright side!

Just got a message from a friend that her baby girl was born last week.

She sent cute pictures.

Stomach cramps starting. Hurting and in the same place at the same time of the day as last time as well! So looks like AF will be here tomorrow!

My mums dog has AF at the mo, should finish this weekend then mums going to breed her!! I swear if that dog gets preg before me!!!!!
