New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

That looks good kepSmile.

And I know what you mean about the sickness - my DP said to me if I get pregnant again he wants me throwing up morning, noon and night! My symptoms were very mild / sporadic this time - I think it was a sign.

Who's next to test?

We dtd for the first time since mc this weekend - let the ttc commence! (Not that I've a clue when / if I'll be ovulating since it's the wtf cycle)

Mamama31 · 10/05/2015 14:16

Disney I know what you mean, I feel like we have been ttc without purpose lol still showing faintly pos on pregnancy test so despite lots of dtd (which in fairness has been thoroughly enjoyable) I won't have ovulated and probably won't ovulate any time soon. Oh well, it's been fun!!!

And I agree bring on some morning sickness! I really think that was a bad sign for me not having any as I was so sick during my 1st pregnancy and really do think that's how pregnancy should affect me if it's going ok.

redredwine4 · 10/05/2015 18:30

Just catching up with everything after a few days off.

Huge congratulations kep, brickie and Liliana!! Hope I haven't missed anybody. So good to get such nice news.

Hope everyone else is doing OK.

romeo I feel in a similar position. Still not sure what is going with me ov-wise. I should have ov'd late last week but STILL no positive opk. I might have had other ov signs but not sure. So I might be in the running this month but not really got any idea. It's difficult to stay very positive but I have done loads of googling and it looks like some people manage a bfp with no positive on an opk. ibeka did you ov? marys you weren't far behind us date-wise. Hope we're all in with a chance this month! I am going to wait until 23rd to poas if no af.

Mamama31 · 10/05/2015 18:38

Red I have 2 friends who have never had a pos opk ever...one has just had a baby and the other is due her 3rd child any day!

redredwine4 · 10/05/2015 19:00

Oh thank you mama- fingers crossed I am like them! Glad you are having lots of fun dtd!!

redredwine4 · 10/05/2015 20:11

I also meant to say that I'm so sorry af got you carrot x

MarysPrayer · 10/05/2015 20:25

Red, yes I'm just starting the tww. It all feels a bit rushed really as AF usually lasts at least a week and I get 'positive' opks around cd12/13. Doesn't give us much time to get down to it, esp as dh works shifts and is often uninterested too tired. By contrast the tww lasts an eternity. Confused

With the opks I count any line that is nearly as dark as the control line to be a positive, as that is the best they ever get for me. I think your true surge only lasts a few hours anyway so you would be lucky to catch it with an opk. My 'positives' always occur at the right time in my cycle, then become completely negative after 48 hours and precede AF by exactly 14 days so I'm assuming they're correct.

Nice line kep Smile

Grin at mamama wanting to 'barf everywhere. I totally get you though Smile

redredwine4 · 10/05/2015 20:54

Yes the tww really drags marys. My opk lines have all been faint since the mc in Feb. Why I cannot help but think it means something sinister is because I got a blazing positive in Dec when I fell pg, which makes me think that's how it should work for me. But maybe I was just lucky that time and happened to catch the surge.

redredwine4 · 10/05/2015 20:55

And marys if you're just starting the tww just now then it looks like we'll be cycle buddies this month!

MarysPrayer · 10/05/2015 22:10

Yep, Red we'll be going mad together for the next 2 weeks! SmileGrin
Hopefully that's the case with the opks and you've just not happened upon the exact time of your surge.

Tbh, I'm not hopeful this month. We only dtd on day 10 (too early) and day 13 (possible day of ov so maybe too late) Getting a bit annoyed that dh isn't taking it as seriously as I am. How come the men are happy to just 'relax and see what happens'?!

DisneyMillie · 11/05/2015 07:10

I think men buy into the sex ed at school too much where you can get pregnant if you even think about sex too much!

We dtd every day this weekend so DP is now sure I'll be pregnant - the fact I think I'm nowhere near ovulation apparently doesn't matter!!

Having said that he totally wanted to take the "do it when we feel like it and let it happen naturally approach" pre mc and now he's happily popping vitamins and approving my hideously expensive cbfm as a good idea!

DisneyMillie · 11/05/2015 07:14

Ps mary swimmers live 3-5 days so I don't think day 10 would necessarily be too early. Fingers crossed x

Romeolovesjuliet · 11/05/2015 07:17

mama and red, another one in the 2ww wait here. AF due 23/24th. I may test on 23/5 as it's our wedding anniversary and if negative I will definitely be doing some drinking! Otherwise I will just wait it out.

Nousername2015 · 11/05/2015 08:29

Morning ladies, hope you all had good weekends. Does anyone have any unfortunate experience of evap lines and can tell me about them? May have POAS 3 days early and totally unleashed the crazy...

Nousername2015 · 11/05/2015 08:37

Pic attached for scrutiny. I left it for a couple of mins after testing, couldn't make out anything but the background was still pink. Got in shower and this is what was there when I got out. Think I was about 10 mins in shower but not sure if I went over the 15 min window which could make this an evap line?

TTC after MC #5
DisneyMillie · 11/05/2015 08:43

I can see it and it looks pinkish to me! I think evaps are normally grey? Fingers crossed and have another test tomorrow - hopefully it'll be darker. Xxx

brickiemum2 · 11/05/2015 09:57

That is definitely pink not grey so I'm looking forward to your retest tomorrow Grin

CarrotPuff · 11/05/2015 11:21

Nouser that looks promising! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Mamama31 · 11/05/2015 12:54

Nouser what kind of test is it? I think it looks like a faint positive, hoping for a nice strong bfp tomorrow for you!!!!

Nousername2015 · 11/05/2015 13:00

It's an asda own brand, they say they can detect up to 4 days before. I think the minimum hcg needed is 15UL. Might splash out on a FRER on the way home for tomorrow morning though. Desperately trying not to read into it just yet. Thanks for all your support!

Mamama31 · 11/05/2015 13:16

Nouser yes get a frer for tomorrow! Good luck!!! Can I ask how many cycles you ttc prior to your mc? Sorry I ask everyone this!!

kep1979 · 11/05/2015 14:24

nouser that definitely looks pink, so fingers crossed. Defo get a FRER! GL.

Nousername2015 · 11/05/2015 18:12

mama we managed to catch the egg on our first cycle of trying. I had had my implant removed a good 18 months before though for other reasons so periods were settled. we know were very lucky that time, not so fortunate a couple of months later but unfortunately that's life.

Mamama31 · 11/05/2015 18:15

Nouser that's great that you don't have a long wait with conception! Looking forward to a strong bfp for you tomorrow!

Nousername2015 · 11/05/2015 18:27

I'm crossing fingers for lots of strong bfps for all of us Smile
