New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Thank you all!
Congrats biscuit Flowers

red ive read that it can last 5 days as people often mistake it for a light period, if it is light?

CarrotPuff · 08/04/2015 09:50

Congrats madgie! Finally Smile

Biscuit I would imagine it's a new pregnancy, congrats!

MrsD you're not out yet. When is AF due?

No idea red, if it doesn't stop I suggest you go see your GP? Or give them a call? Otherwise hold out as long as you can and test then, good luck Flowers

This is CD26 today. Normally I would have 26-27 day cycle, although my first post mc was 30 days. So I'm determined to wait till then. Getting a bit hopeful now...

redredwine4 · 08/04/2015 10:16

Oh carrot I'm getting excited for you!

Romeolovesjuliet · 08/04/2015 10:33

red in my very first pregnancy I had spotting for several days in the week before AF was due - it was a tiny tiny amount each day though but I reckon it could still be that for you. I was prompted to test because it eventually stopped but AF didn't show.
carrot fx for you - eeek!
brickie I know what you mean about timing. If I'm lucky enough to get pg this cycle (pleeeeease let this one be the one) I will be 12 weeks on the Friday before going away on the Sat. Not ideal and I'm hoping I would be able to have scan before I go as would be worried about it being too late for nuchal once we were back (I was moved forward by several days with DS). But I'm trying not to worry about that as A) it might not happen and B) I'm sure it would all work out. If this month isn't the one but the next one was I would be 8 weeks when we went - even less ideal but I don't think I have it in me not to try...

brickiemum2 · 08/04/2015 10:39

Well I got another clear bfn today on CD28 so I guess that's conclusive and I need to get over it. My last two mc's I've conceived within a month afterwards so I've kinda set myself up for a fall here Sad
On the plus side it's a beautiful day here and I'm taking the kids to the park with a picnic this afternoon.

MissMrsMummy · 08/04/2015 10:43

Morning ladies,

It's all very positive here at the moment Smile

Huge congratulations to madgie - we all knew it was going to be a bfp!
biscuit congratulations! What lovely news.
carrot I am starting to feel excited for you too.

I am feeling so much better than last week. I am getting lines on my opks (not positives yet) so hoping I am going to ov in the next few days, which will be all back to normal for me. We have started to DTD and have medical appointments lined up. Onwards and upwards!

Have a lovely day everyone x

MissMrsMummy · 08/04/2015 10:44

Sorry for the bfn brickie I can understand why you thought it would be a bfp after you've conceived so quickly before. I hope you are feeling ok Flowers At least you have a lovely day planned x

kep1979 · 08/04/2015 10:59

madgie wooohooooo Grin
biscuit sounds like a new pregnancy to me - congrats!

brickie sorry for the BFN - they are always crap! Hoping AF stays away Flowers

AFM I poas this morning - think it was an evap. Will test again tonight - part of me is hopeful, but the other part not as I have no symptoms and it would be too good to be true to get a BFP this cycle.

MissMrsMummy · 08/04/2015 11:19

kep what kind of test did you use? So was there a line? How long did it take to come up? Hope you are ok. It could have been a bfp. Don't lose hope! Test again with FMU tomorrow unless you kept this morning's pee Smile

madgiebean · 08/04/2015 12:20

Thank you carrot and MissM

Hugs Brickie
kep I have my fingers crossed for you lets hope it was actually a bfp!
MissM glad you're feeling better this week Smile

Stupid house alarm has been going off over the road all night til 11am this morning so ive had all of about 3 hours sleep. I'm so tired Angry don't want to sleep and miss this lovely weather though - who knows how long it will last

kep1979 · 08/04/2015 13:02

missmrs it was an ic, there was a very faint line, just not sure if there is any colour or how long it took to come up as I fell back to sleep after getting up to poas! I will no doubt do another ic tonight and stare at them both. I think I may have wishful line eyes though, and these ics are notorious for giving bad evaps. If I get another line I may break out a FRER in the morning.

Tallulaxx · 08/04/2015 18:29

Evening all. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in January but got what I think is a Bfp. I'm so scared but feel different already knew last time it was doomed but have symptoms already, tired and very hormonal. Not due till Sunday but have a faint positive! Hope my rainbow baby sticks this will be my third.

TTC after MC #5
mrsdiddlydoo · 08/04/2015 19:33

Congratulations Tallulah. Hope its a sticky one this time

MissMrsMummy · 08/04/2015 20:17

Hi kep oh that's annoying that you fell back to sleep! Hope you can hang on until the morning and use a frer. Fx for you!

tallula what great news! Congratulations! Glad you have symptoms and hope that means this is your sticky one x

MarysPrayer · 08/04/2015 20:28

Sorry I haven't been around for a few days. I've been lurking on here but haven't really had much to post about. Just waiting for the mist to clear, which I think it finally has. The bleeding stopped after about a week and I'm feeling much less tired too. Still a bit sad but looking forwards now, not backwards.

mrsdiddly your post about pregnancy after mc was lovely. I will keep that in my mind when I get my bfp. Smile

Congrats madgie and tallula* Fx to anyone else close to poas day.

Carrot I hope you and ds are feeling better.

Special wave to my post-mc/tcc buddy MissMrs, thanks for your support pFlowers

MissMrsMummy · 08/04/2015 21:37

Good to see you back here marys glad you are feeling positive and looking forwards, I think having a plan and focusing on the next cycle is a good way of coping Flowers thanks for your support too! I'm also a lot better.

Yokyil · 08/04/2015 21:45

Congrats madgie and biscuit all the best for the next 9 months Smile

redredwine4 · 08/04/2015 23:07

Feeling pretty down about the whole thing this evening, like a feeling of doom that I'll never be a mum. I keep trying to remember that I got pregnant before and so should again. Resisting strong urges to test as far too early and will just make me feel worse.

Sorry for the late night moan- tmrw is another day. Night all.

MissMrsMummy · 08/04/2015 23:40

Tomorrow is another day closer to your BFP red don't give up hope Flowers I hope you feel better after a good sleep x

madgiebean · 09/04/2015 00:05

Big hugs red hope you wake up feeling better. I second what MissM said, tomorrow is another day closer to your BFP. What a lovely way to look look at it

brickiemum2 · 09/04/2015 06:45

Morning all. red and marys I hope you're both ok Flowers
I'm trying to be positive. Today should be CD1 so start of a brand new cycle that could bring a bfp.

redredwine4 · 09/04/2015 08:20

Thank you all!

Yes it's a new day so onwards and upwards.

brickie if you don't have your af yet could that possibly be good news?

brickiemum2 · 09/04/2015 08:40

I don't imagine it could be. Af due today and usually shows up mid morning to mid afternoon so I'm sure it'll be along soon. Just to confirm things I poas with fmu and it's totally neg Sad

CarrotPuff · 09/04/2015 09:00

Sorry brickie Flowers

Lots of Cake when she shows up.

DS is doing better, thanks. I'm over my colds - for now! - but still get an odd sore throat now and then. I hope this is it. Very foggy here, but I'm sure there will be a lovely sunshine later.

I'm not feeling any symptoms, AF or otherwise Hmm I was bloated last week, and still am a bit, and have some spots, but that's about it.

kep1979 · 09/04/2015 09:30

Morning all.

brickie I reckon AF will show for me too - will be Wine and Cake all round later!

I had some spotting (only when I wipe) last night and this morning - I don't usually spot before AF but did another ic this morning and BFN, so yesterday's line must have been an evap or my wishful line eyes

Not got any symptoms of AF or pregnancy apart from being spotty - but am expecting AF to show her ugly face today - just a hunch. oh well - just today to get through then a 3 day weekend Smile

Congratulations to all those getting BFPs Flowers
