New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

marys not at all - normally a short 22 days cycle, first cycle in about 10+ year which has been longer. This one ended up being 28 days - abnormal for me.

MarysPrayer · 03/04/2015 17:26

Have you tested?

MissMrsMummy · 03/04/2015 18:00

romeo great that you can start DTD again! Being proactive always helps mentally, I find!

Sorry you're feeling low marys me too. Yes, let's hold hands and be through this horrid time together!

yokyil sorry it feels like AF is on her way. Hope you're wrong though! Could be why you're late.

Yokyil · 03/04/2015 18:12

marys tested on Saturday - day AF would've been due - then tested on Tuesday. Haven't tested since, was waiting on 1 week late (tomorrow!)
Thanks missmrs Smile

CarrotPuff · 03/04/2015 20:16

Marys don't apologise for moany posts. That's what we are here for.

Yokyil you're not out until AF enters through the door. With DS I thought cramps were AF coming, but she never did Wink

I have a backache and feeling queasy... But I think I'm only 6dpo Hmm

Yokyil · 03/04/2015 21:08

carrot here's hoping that's some nice early signs for you Wink nah AF is here...ahh well! Takes me outta limbo-at least I'm working! Just jump back on the horse Wink next week.

MrsConfusion · 03/04/2015 23:24

mary my hospital did bloods 48 hrs apart to check hormones were falling, but that was in my early losses/when scans were confusing. I did weirdly get a negative urine test in hospital on same day as bloods showing c400 hcg but I'm still sure she dipped the wrong pot!

We've decided to wait 2 cycles - and see recurrent mc clinic - before ttc again. The doctor who did my ectopic op said we only needed to wait one cycle but all the info online says 2 cycles or 3 months, and I think I would just panic too much about it happening again if there's any swelling left inside - can't risk the one remaining tube! But at the same time it feels scary to wait as it feels like we're missing chances, and I'm getting older.... No sign of AF yet but it's only 3.5 weeks since op. Given all the random pains I've been getting I think there's still some healing to do...

Fx for all you ladies and that we'll see lots more thread BFPs begore I'm back in the game Smile

Bristolian1 · 04/04/2015 06:54

marys so sorry you've had such a confusing time. I hope you can start the healing process now you've had a negative hpt.
Sorry to hear the witch has turned up yokyil sending Wine and Cake
carrot I think we are cycle buddies as (going on ovulation stick thingys) I'm 7 dpo today. When will you test? I'm off on holiday tomorrow and trying to resist the urge to take hpt with me! Did a silly amount of symptom spotting and POAS last month!
kep the cottage sounds amazing! I've only got 3 more hours of my easter weekend work-athon left today Grin

You think you'll test over the weekend bristolian?? Wbu carrot? Have never done the opks - amazon cheapies okay to use? Any particular kind that are better than others? Gonna try them once just to get an idea of when I'm OV Hmm

kep1979 · 04/04/2015 11:01

yokyil sorry AF came - sending Cake and Wine

carrot and bristolian I think i may be 7dpo too (if i ov when i think) - going to test in a few days, have bought some hpts with me. Opks still completely negative so going to carry on using them and shagging but assume i'm in the tww.

Cottage is great, going to watch dh surfing today as weather has calmed down. Am taking many layers, blankets and kindle.

kep1979 · 04/04/2015 11:03

yokyil i've always used amazon cheapies, one step i think they are called. Loads cheaper and means i can use them twice a day. Like all opks, and hpts for thst matter, they take some getting used to, but you can always post pics if you wanted to check x

MissMrsMummy · 04/04/2015 11:54

yokyil I'm also using the cheap ones like kep. I usually do them at 10am, 2pm and 7pm. Just love peeing on things (TTC related things, not my coffee table or anything haha!) mine are called onestep and are in green and white packaging. I do them so often because the Lh surge can be very sudden and I don't want to miss it! You can almost identify it to the hour with these cheap ones as you don't have to use FMU. Do I sound like a nutter?!

Yokyil · 04/04/2015 13:25

Thanks kep and missmrs not a nutter at all Wink it's all perfectly legitimate in the TTC roundabout! Will order some, just to see how I go

madgiebean · 04/04/2015 13:27

Hi all,

Hope everyone is well! Just wondering if I could have some advice with pregnancy testing and what not..
AF is due tomorrow but I don't 'feel' like it is, but I had some spotting a few days ago in the form of what I can only describe as pink water (tmi sorry!) with some cramps that felt like AF cramps, but the spotting only lasted an hour or so so I wondered whether it could have been implantation bleeding but I'd never had that with my pregnancy before Confused
cramping has stopped but I've had a few twinges below my belly button etc but tried not thinking into them..
I thing I ovulated quite late which would make me 10dpo now but I'm not sure whether thats too early to test or not? When I got my bfp in November I was already 7 weeks pregnant (without knowing) so I have no idea how early to test.
I just want to get the test out of the way because the longer I leave it the more I convince myself I'll get my bfp so the quicker I know the better, but at the same time im petrified of doing a test in case it's negative, and then if it is positive what if history repeats itself?

Does anyone else feel this way?

Yokyil · 04/04/2015 13:46

mrsconfusion glad you're looking after yourself and listening to your body that it still needs some tlc. Fx for some good positive news at the clinic - know it's not where you want to be but it's being proactive about the whole situation. Flowers

mrsdiddlydoo · 04/04/2015 13:57

yokyil peeing on sticks (or in containers to test) becomes stupidly addictive. I have been using the same internet cheapies mentioned. Use to use the cbdh tests but they stopped giving me a positive after last mc. And £££. Good luck!

madgie I usually test the day my AF is due or just after. I'm not an expert at testing early so don't have any good advice to offer. If it's going to cause you stress waiting, I'd just test tomorrow. History is really unlikely to repeat itself. Any future pregnancy will feel different, but once you are past when you mc your confidence in everything working out will grow. You just have to take things one day at a time. Every pregnancy really is unique in every way possible. New womb lining. New little bean made of different things. It's hard to stay hopeful sometimes, but we're human and there always ends up being a little bit of hope even when we are convinced everything is doomed to fail. x

Totally unrelated but I've just stuffed my face for Dh's birthday at a yummy little canteen and feel so full I could explode. So much has happened this last year I struggle to remember anything good happening but we seem to be making new happy memories. Hope they continue...

Yokyil · 04/04/2015 14:05

mrsdiddly just thought something cheap and cheerful - just to see if I'm ovulating when I presume I am Hmm since mc have had 2 normal bang on time AFs and this one which was trying to tease me and be 6 days late - so no idea what's going on inside atm! Confused
madgie if it was me I'd hold off until you're late-will save any disappointment if it arrives. And no I think all of us who have been through mc have the same worries but defiantly you gotta stay positive. There's nothing there to say it will happen again-new scenario, different result hopefully Smile

madgiebean · 04/04/2015 14:07

Thank you mrsdiddly sometimes I just need a kick up the backside to stop me thinking the worst! X

madgiebean · 04/04/2015 14:08

Thank you yokyil I think I will hold off.. If anything it'll save me money and the time spent wondering whether I see a line or not!

redredwine4 · 04/04/2015 15:02

brickie yes looks like we are cycle buddies. I am going to try to hold off to two weeks from when I think I should have ovulated, therefore a week on Monday. You?

mrs glad you got your BFN. It means you can start looking to the future. Fingers crossed you are one of the ones to get pregnant on you WTF cycle!

I started spotting yesterday, so don't know what that means at all. It can't be implantation bleeding as it is too early. I am starting to think I should stop analysing everything for another month or two to let things settle down....

MissMrsMummy · 04/04/2015 16:31

madgie I had the same pink spotting and cramps you describe and it was implantation for me. I tested at 11dpo and got a bfp. You could probably test today but it'd be better to wait to use your FMU tomorrow if you can. Fx for you!

madgiebean · 04/04/2015 16:44

MissMrs oh I hope so thank you! Thought I was out with the cramping and what not but since its died down ive had tender boobs, although nothing too striking just a tad more than normal af tender boobs but mainly near the armpit (not sure if that still counts). I suppose it's looking good unless AF shows.. May test Monday so I can enjoy Easter without the possible disappointment.

My OH and I are away this weekend which is a nice change from being at home - I thought it would keep my mind off symptom spotting but that clearly hasnt worked! I've deliberately not bought any pg tests so I don't give into temptation since I can never wait for fmu! In the mean time I'll indulge in some heavy easter egg eating!

kep1979 · 04/04/2015 18:55

madgie I got my BFP at 10dpo, and my ic at 9dpo had a vvvvv faint line that i put down to having line eyes. But that was only one of my many may cycle of days staring at stark white tests imagining lines. I am a poas-aholic but if you have the willpower then waiting wll probably be loads less stressful.

I give great advice.... didn't stop me testing on a hpt this morning - at 7dpo if i've even ovulated i am one crazy woman

Bristolian1 · 04/04/2015 19:29

I'm leaving the hpts at home and heading off to Spain tomorrow. If AF hasn't shown up by the time we get back next Sunday then I'll test. I am actually having to leave the country to avoid POAS early! Blush Hope all you ladies are having lovely weekends

OP posts:
madgiebean · 04/04/2015 19:35

Ah kep I think I'll try and have the willpower to test as late as I physically/mentally can! If I let myself I'd be poasing as much as you, I'm practically sitting on my hands!

Bristolian have a lovely time in Spain - I hope your holiday helps you take your mind from poasing and hopefully you'll get a bfp when you get back Grin
