If you want my opinion on alcohol (and I am teetotal - no, I'm not joking) it is this: it doesn't make a blind bit of difference. Unless, of course, your husband is a fat, thirteen-pint-a-nighter and cannot find your fanjo after staggering in from the pub.

Very early (2ww) pregnancy symptoms do indeed include dizzyness (I forget who asked) and that is one of the more obvious indicators you are up the duff. Sickness really only kicks in at week eight, but great signs are the pinching and cramping that often signals AF.

Sparkly123 · 16/01/2015 16:23

Boosk oh no I'm so sorry, I had high hopes for you! You WILL be good on the Feb bus!! I know it. Positive thoughts to you Flowers

KnitFastDieWarm · 16/01/2015 16:24

Re dizziness - twas me Smile well that's good to know! I've not had this as a pre-AF symptom before so fingers crossed. Of course it's always possible that I'm getting ill and am going to spend the weekend feeling vile with no BFP to show for it next week...

I hope caffeine isn't a total no-no - I've read that up to 200mg (about two cups on instant) is ok, so I've been making decaff with a spoon of instant to try and spread it throughout the day mmmm, tasty tasty caffeine...

Nervous83 · 16/01/2015 16:26

Purdey what about feeling like you've been kicked in your girly bits? or is that just too much time being a slut? Blush

loopylou1984 · 16/01/2015 16:42

Just taking my seat - will read back later Smile

Stoatystoat · 16/01/2015 16:43

I'm still drinking up until I get a BFP. In fact this week I've probably drunk more in the week than I normally would - only a glass of wine or gin two or three nights a week - like I'm on death row. Naughty I know but life has to go on. Some (the ones at weekends or special occasions) of the nights we DTD have been after a bit of a booze or meal with drink with DH...again I know that goes against advice but I have been known to tense up beforehand so it helps the process because I'm relaxed if anything and a few of my friends DCs are the result of drunken shags. DH can take or leave alcohol, it seems not to affect him and he only ever drinks outside the house.

PurdeyBirdie · 16/01/2015 16:49

Nervous, a throbbing vagina that has the appearance of a trampled bat does indeed signal a prostitute woman of dubious merit. On a serious note I have no idea whether that is an early pregnancy symptom. It's strange you should ask, though, as I was only telling DH earlier on our fecking freezing pram walk that I felt as though the inside of my vadge was swollen outside and touching the crotch of my jeans Shock It felt throbby and achey.

I have just been on Fertility Friend researching the average length of time it took women over 42 and with only one fallopian tube to conceive. It was 24 months Sad This means I am about to embark on every bus journey from now until February 2017 Sad I will be 45 and a half SadSadSad

The good news is I'll be able to apply for a free bus pass. Silver lining and all that...Hmm

MelonMelon · 16/01/2015 16:56

Pa hahahaha!! Coleen 'three chins' Nolan!

MelonMelon · 16/01/2015 17:37

Ok here goes!

I'm 28. Came off the pill after 11 years in Jan 2014. Wasn't ttc back then using jonnies like a pair of teenagers. Suprise bfp in July 2014 MC at 8 weeks and had ERPC in August, period didnt come back til November 2014. Before MC had textbook 28 day cycle but December cycle was 35 days.

January 2015 first 'proper' ttc cycle, had positive opk on CD18 which matched up with what Ovia told me but then had another positive OPK and ewcm on Wednesday CD25. No idea when to test as I'm either 9dpo or 2dpo!

Thanks!

loopylou1984 · 16/01/2015 17:38

Congratulations Sparkly!!!! GrinGrin
