Stoaty yep I get preseed from amazon and found conceive plus in tesco actually!

Missmrs thanks for the stats!! Good list to start the BFPs!

Failuretolaunch I agree. And I'm so sorry to anyone who didn't like seeing the stats... I thought after I posted it maybe others wouldn't want to see, so I'm sorry if so! Like you say, once you add in cm watch/ OPKs etc etc I guess those numbers would change too. Really wishing you all the best, it must be frustrating for you and sending positive thoughts! Flowers

Sammylou sorry that sounds confusing. Maybe you are close?? Fertility clinic always told me to go by cm rather than OPKs as sometimes there can be a delay?

Thanks for the stats! Must have taken you ages!

Well I'm half way through tww and can't help but symptom spot! Having crazy twinges low down and bonkers dreams. Of course this could be down to anything, but of course I keep wondering! Ha ha... It's only cycle 1 too, I better get used to this.

Good luck everyone and congrats to doc Flowers

MrsCrumbtious · 12/01/2015 19:11

Love those stats and reassuring to see a lot of us 30 somethings ttc. Forgot to add on my stats on cycle 2 and BFP due 30th jan

Good luck everyone!

Xx

Frolicacid · 12/01/2015 19:22

Thank you for your kind words lovelies. I will definitely let you know how the scan goes on Sunday.

Good luck to everyone yet to test. Those stats look fab - January seemes very lucky so far. Here is to lots more bfp's.

squiish · 12/01/2015 20:00

Thanks for the stats missmrs cant believe its only the beginning of Jan and we've had so many BFPs!
I'm feeling a bit pre-AFy today Sad just feel a bit yuck in myself and a teeny bit of boobache. Hoping its an off day as planning to POAs Weds, I'm also wondering if I should stop taking my b6 Confused TTC is too confusing.

Blue500 · 12/01/2015 20:31

Thanks for the stats MissMrs, good work Smile

5dpo and not a single symptom, nadder, nothing. I normally have cramps by now, but nothing. Humph it's going to be a long 7 days until af / poas Hmm

Nervous83 · 12/01/2015 20:48

Thank you for the stats MissMrsMummy!!

I'm surprised by how many of us are in our 30s!

Sparkly123 · 12/01/2015 20:56

The 30s club are totally rocking the BFPs!!

Sparkly, you misunderstood me! What I meant was statistics can be frustrating when you are one of the couples taking years to conceive. However, like I said, the majority do fall pregnant within a year. I actually believe most stats to be true - well, they certainly are for the over forties Hmm

Mumwannabe82 · 12/01/2015 21:01

Is it wrong to think about cervical fluid when cracking eggs to make an omelette Grin Grin Grin

nicelyneurotic · 12/01/2015 21:03

Great stats Miss Mrs mummy. AF has arrived for me so I'm moving to the Feb bus. Hope those on the tww get lots of bfps.

FailureToLaunch · 12/01/2015 21:09

Blue, don't despair! Only after the tubal journey, lasting five days, does a fertilised egg reach the uterine cavity. Implantation commences around seven days after fertilization and is complete by day fourteen. With this in mind, it would be impossible to have any pregnancy symptoms by day five. When I had successful IVF, the five day-old embryo was placed in my womb and it implanted only three days later (so 8DPO). Not even then could I detect any symptoms because HcG is only released three days after implantation (so 11DPO). This is why I encourage people not to lose hope in the 2ww. If you are pregnant, stuff is going on inside your body very, very quietly and is unable to be reliably detected until later on Thanks

Sparkly123 · 12/01/2015 21:13

Ah I see Failuretolaunch . I haven't done any research on stats before so it's interesting to hear your perspective that you think they are relatively reliable for that age group. I hope you don't take too long to conceive this time around Flowers but yeh I think I kinda thought after I had posted that for those that have taken a very long period of time to conceive they may find the post frustrating.

Sorry AF arrived nicely probably see you on the feb bus the way things are going!

Blue500 · 12/01/2015 21:51

Thanks Failure, that's really encouraging.
I know that 5dpo is waaaay early, it's just that normally I have some cramps by now ( and therefore straight into symptom spotting!). But your absolutely right about not feeling anything yet and things are happening so quietly inside. Maybe it's a good sign after all no symptoms are a symptom Smile

Blimeygirl · 12/01/2015 22:48

Well I definitely feel like AF is on the way now! Really sore boobs, insane appetite and some spotting today. However I would just be glad for it to turn up and get rid of this ludicrous cycle now! ( currently on cd 53!) Weirdly fx for AF to turn up! Then on to the February bus and lots of dtd!(I have pre warned dh!)

Linguaphile · 13/01/2015 00:36

So, I think I ov'd yesterday, which officially puts me in the tww! Feeling pretty good as we got in about 4 good sessions leading up to it, so we'll see. Had a bad night with the twins last night and was pretty bleary-eyed today, so if I'm honest I probably won't be devastated if cycle 1 of ttc is a miss!

Now to distract myself...

MaMaPo · 13/01/2015 03:28

Welcome to all the new members of the bus who joined for cycle 1 this year! Here's to a very short stay.

Good news is that FF finally placed my ovulation and I'm 3dpo. Not great chances as we only DTD on CD12 and 13 and ovulated on CD14, but it could be worse. With the terrible few week's we've been having it's a miracle there was any action at all. (Awful week away with extended family followed by likely imminent passing of my husband's grandmother). AF is still due for the 21st and I am definitely expecting to move onto the Feb bus. More luck in Feb, I think.

Still, here's the bonkersness of the TWW! I have awful heartburn - symptom? Grin (No, seriously, only other time I've ever had it was from week 30-38 of my last pregnancy. Ugh, heartburn.)

MaMaPo · 13/01/2015 03:30

Ugh, how did that awful apostrophe get in there? "week's", ffs. I know how to punctuate, promise! I'll blame the heartburn.

woodpigeon123 · 13/01/2015 06:10

My Ovia app told me to take a test today.... BFN.

Feeling slight cramps which probably means AF will turn up tomorrow, right on schedule!

Ughhhhhh!

ninjabeer · 13/01/2015 06:18

I hear you woodpigeon the app said test, the stick said BFN. Boo!

Now just waiting for the witch. Harrrumph

newbian · 13/01/2015 06:27

Ovia is telling me to test but I'm going to wait another day. After all my promising symptoms last week, today was the second day in a row of BBT drop. Pretty strong sign AF is coming. Oh well Sad

g0ldie · 13/01/2015 06:47

Thank you mrs miss mummy for including me that must have taken you such a long time!!!

Newbien I am impressed by your restraint! I am already desperate to test which I won't because I am only 7dpo!

Mama po sorry to hear what a terrible few weeks you have been having.

Good luck with any testing today and sorry to those who af has arrived.

roughtyping · 13/01/2015 07:07

Hi, is it ok if I join? I'm 29 (today!), trying for my second (my first is now 11!). AF due on Saturday. Took a test this morning which had a super faint line but think it was an evap line. Feel like I'm torturing myself! This is our 5th cycle trying. My first was a massive surprise (found out I was pregnant at around 22.5 weeks) so I've never experienced this!

Bovnydazzler · 13/01/2015 07:11

Thanks for doing the stats missmummy it's great to see where everyone is up to :)

roughty super faint positive sounds promising, what test brand did you use? Is there any colour in the line although faint? If pink, it won't be an Evap, if it's grey it may be. Can you post a pic? Recommend FRER if this isn't what you've used.
