Hi all ... We had a thread for Jan BFPs but it seems full?! Thought I would start the second thread.. No idea if this will work as haven't done it before so here's hoping I see you all here!!

Maybe I should go on mastermind - specialist subject of cervical mucus.

Did you know some medications dry up your cm - lemsip as an example which may hinder your fertility and some cough stuff and evening primrose oils can help the production of it....

Fx for all yous planning to poas this Friday - I'll be cheering from the sidelines!

Hair - I've read grapefruit juice helps the production of cm as well. I've been having a glass everyday since cd1 up until ov but I'm not entirely sure if it's helped much!

Am on CD19 today but OPK's are still positive and OVIA is re-shuffling my fertile days along. Maybe I ovulate later in the month than at the beginning.

Also my CM is hardly anything like it used to be before TTC. Less of it now :/ has anyone had this?

Had that cold/cough that's currently doing the rounds so I stink of Vicks vapour rub and covonia but luckily DH likes it! :)

I'm not too sure if we will ttc next month as I dont really want another Nov baby (dd2's birthday is in Nov). Logic and heart don't always match up do they?? I'm feeling almost certain we didn't catch the egg this month. argh!! I'm doing my own head in now.

Hope you all had a lovely Xmas and NY. We were burgled just before Xmas then DH and I were both ill so hasn't been the best time!!

Think I'm currently 12dpo - despite trying to take a laid back approach did a few OPKs and got a positive Xmas morning, DTD then and boxing day night.
Haven't really been temping but been hot the last few nights and crazy dreams - couldn't resist temping this morning and it is high!! AF usually arrives at 13dpo with a temp drop a day or two before - trying hard not to get too excited as I've had all my usual pre AF signs....

Nervous yes! Babies babies everywhere! It will be us soon though re the OPKs.. Maybe your sample wasn't concentrated enough?? I have found that before. I always do first morning urine.

Hi Let's you can be mu buddy! I'm on the bus wriggling impatiently in my seat waiting for a positive OPK, I test when I get home from work. I had a MC in August ( bfp was a happy suprise) and this is our first time ttc. We're dtd every day eek!

I'll join the poas party with my ovulation sticks. Gave DH my stash of pregnancy tests yesterday with strict instructions to hide them and refuse to give them back tol AF is due!

Bugger, I have thrush!! Thought I had more cm than usual yesterday but itching and big discharge today have made me realise it's thrush just found a pessary tablet so will use tonight and hope it buggers off quickly!

Lucky that is the date I have too but not sure I will be able to hold that long before testing!!x

Dpo 7 so am going to try and hold off poas until Tuesday when app says af is due. We shall see. Am starting to feel normal again after the festivities. And am going for a 'moderate' January. Let's see how that works out.

Looking forward to plenty of BFPs at the poas party on Friday. Let's do this!

Sparkly - re opks and fmu. I was advised not to use fmu as it can give you false positives due to the naturally occurring LH being higher when it's concentrated.

I'm on to cycle 15 now after AF arrived on Sunday
Although it's been weirdly light which even caused me to poas (bfn of course).

Are there any OPK experts that can rate mine? I think it's negative but its my first cycle using them so dont know how dark they go. So frustrating because if I had a line like that on a pregnancy test it would be positive!

Can't see your pic as I'm on the phone app, but for opks the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line for it to count.

Melon - this was my positive OPK last month. The control line is the one on the right on mine and the one that appears (on the left) has to be darker or the same as that. Does that help at all? Yours does look very close though, so you're either just about to, or just have had the surge I would say.

On cd13 here. Just gonna keep on dtd and hope it works. I just keep thinking nearly half way through this cycle. Doesn't sound as bad then x

hairstylist thanks for the cm info, I try look out for the different stages but just don't seem to notice them :( my pos OPKs were 3-4days ago and I now have creamy/sticky cm TMI sorry! Perhaps mine goes round in circles? Love the idea of mastermind

sparkly one of our team has just left as she is pregnant but not sure how long you can actually play for until it is too dangerous! Based on average cycles, BFP should be 16th! Yours?

The instructions on mine say you can test between 10am-7pm, do yours say anything? I was just advised not to use FMU so as long as you stick to your instructions then you should be fine.
