Becca83 · 16/01/2015 07:47

Mine is exactly the same this morning Sad it's so faint that I'm convincing myself it's not right. This is horrible!

spinningirl10 · 16/01/2015 07:49

Becca, sometimes the line takes a while to get darker as our levels rise. Are you using the same brand? Maybe try a different one.

gennibugs · 16/01/2015 08:21

Morning all

congratulations poco it sounds as if you might have been trying for a while! Wonderful news.

Fx boosk AF stays away.

becca I think the preg hormone doubles every 48 hours so could be why the lines not got darker?

Becca83 · 16/01/2015 08:48

victoria401 · 16/01/2015 10:28

Sorry for those who af got :-(

Fingers crossed for sparkly and congrats poco*!

Bad news for me though :-( Dr rang with dh's result at 6pm last night. We are now not suitable for iui as sperm shite. Only good for ivf with icsi now which we can no longer start next cycle. I was prepared for it all and told boss and everything. Now its all up in the air and can't believe I've ever got hopeful about getting a natural bfp these past 2 years. Its just one piece of crap after another. I said to dh last night, is there any point any more?! I need to have a good long think about the future and book a relaxing holiday.

spinningirl10 · 16/01/2015 10:34

Becca that's a fantastic line! Congratulations Grin

Victoria, I'm really sorry to hear your news, you must be gutted. What's the next step? I know you'd been trying to get dh to have a healthier lifestyle to improve sperm quality. The holiday sounds like a good idea. Sending big hugs to you Thanks

Mumwannabe82 · 16/01/2015 10:35

Oh Victoria, that's awful news, I'm so sorry Thanks Thanks Thanks

GlitteryLipgloss · 16/01/2015 10:46

Still no AF. Two days late now. Im more pissed off that my cycles are getting longer. I liked my short cycles!! come baccccck!

Took my last Superdrug test this morning - BFN.

My sister didn't get a BFP until her AF was a week late. So who knows.

I don't feel anything. Tired but that's all. Havent checked CM.

Getting pretty fed up of people (family) telling me to 'don't stress, it'll happen when it's meant to happen' Yes, I KNOW that. Please stop telling me that. Especially when you have never actively tried and have three children yourself.

Hurry up AF you freaking bitch!! lol x

squiish · 16/01/2015 10:47

becca wow a definite bfp!!! Congrats Grin
victoria so sorry to hear your news, its shit how long you have been waiting too. I hope you do manage to book that hol Flowers

sparkly we're all waiting for your update Wink

Becca83 · 16/01/2015 10:50

Victoria, so sorry about your news Flowers

Big hugs and fx for everyone else waiting xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/01/2015 10:55

Ladies just popped back. victoria I am so sorry, I hope you can book a holiday, get some time. Big hug.

Can I ask for advice? I'm 36 been off the pill since May ish, actively trying (obsessively trying rather than just shagging...) for 6 months. No even shadow of a BFP. So do I go to the doctors? Bearing in mind I'm not even registered with a GP this is a big deal for me! And as an absolute novice, what would I say? Can I ask for tests or help? Any advice as to what to push for? I have relatively short but reasonably regular cycles, since coming off the pill I have really short and quite light periods. I also have blink and you miss it lh surges according to opks. Dh has children from an earlier dalliance so I assume any issue is me not him. Or do i wait longer? We both Work crazy long hours so we maybe do just need to make more time and have more sex!! I don't temp so no charts... Any advice?!

tessiegirl · 16/01/2015 10:58

Congrats to Poco and Becca!

Sorry to read your news Victoria Its bloody shit Flowers

Nervous83 · 16/01/2015 11:09

Wow!! That took me so long to catch up!!

Becca Wahooooo!!
Poco Yay!! Women's intuition at it's best!
Sparkly... you're keeping us all in suspense!!

Victoria...a holiday is definitely the best place to start. So sorry to hear Flowers

Glittery Breathe Smile I just read your whole post without a breath as if that's how you wrote it.

2DPO here...yawn
Didn't manage to pin hubby down last night as remembered that we were due for dinner at my parents...that would have been embarrassing. Just hoping we did enough before.

I will not start symptom spotting
Ovia is telling me to POAS in 10 days

spinningirl10 · 16/01/2015 11:11

Boris, I would say make the appointment and see a gp. It may be too soon but it seems to vary depending on where you are in the country and your age. If nothing else they can make a note on your file and tell you when and what they will do when the time is right.

Mumwannabe82 · 16/01/2015 11:13

hi Boris, I also came off the pill in may and have relatively short but regular cycles so very similar to you. usually, couples are advised to see a doctor if they haven't conceived after a year because apparently about 90 percent of fertile couples with no issues get pregnant within a year but obviously everyone is different!!
The only thing I would advise to do is start temping so in the next 6 months you can see when you roughly ovulate and dtd at the right times and also use opks at a time when you are most likely to to get a positive. that way, if you haven't got pregnant in a year you can go to the doctors armed with confirmation that you are actually ovulating and show him/her that you are doing all the right things!! obviously if you need more advise on temping and where to start, all us lovely ladies will give you all the info you need xxx hope that helps Boris and good luck with whatever you decide to do xxxx

Sparkly123 · 16/01/2015 11:17

Right ladies. That was some nights sleep! Confused my result is: inconclusive!! Hardly any zzz, slight temp rise again (at least it's not a dip) no more brown spotting at present... Used my last internet cheapie and long amazon stick cheapie and the results are: I can't see anything!!! Confused gonna check back on everyone else now!

Congratulations Becca that is definitely a positive!

victoria so sorry to hear that. It sounds like maybe you need to relax and pamper yourself a bit while you decide what to do next. Sending you big hugs.

sparkly I don't know how you are still sane at the minute, I would be going crazy with needing to know! Fx for you.
