Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

This is the problem mummy, I can't think of another excuse for not using a Jacuzzi! I think that I am just going to have to tell her and ask her to keep it to herself.

Just had a browse on another ttc site and someone suggested saying you think you have an ear infection coming on and feel a bit dizzy and don't want the hot water to make it worse and would rather be in the cooler pool or relaxing with a mag.

Or the slightly more graphic - all that heat with the germs in communal spas always gives me thrush....

Thanks for adding me to the stats babybump. If my memory of cycles from many moons ago are correct, next AF would be due 11/12 Feb so that is my BFP I guess!

Hi sparkly and rainy! Welcome and good luck.

Night, I went on a spa with a 2 week preg friend (she had to tell me as I'd gone to stay with her and she felt so rough!) in Germany. Advice from her obstetrician (yes, you get your own obs from word go in Germany) was anything over 32 degrees was a no-no.

Thanks ibk have told my friend now :) Will check the temperatures of everything there but the pool will be fine at least and obviously the relaxation room and lunch! Will mention TTC to the therapist as I know that sometimes they change the oils they use. Bet I will do all this and then it will still be a BFN :(

I will miss valentines dinner out with a glass of wine as I'll be on 2ww Hmm fingers crossed for us both to get our BFP so it's all worth it!

Have had a lovely day out with DP in London today with dinner, theatre and shopping, and of course dtd to finish off with.

Dizzy yep, not gonna lie.. Id rather not be here but hey, at least I get another OV shot in January and you lovely ladies are here to keep me sane...ish!!! London sounds great! Just what you need to start the dtd!!!

sparkly if would definitely be worth it. My BFP is due 19th and DP birthday is 20th so on top of the best valentines gift it would be a great birthday present! (Though he has already made it clear he will also want the pressure washer he's picked out lol)

well I still had some ewcm yesterday so I very kindly woke DH up at midnight when I got home! he was not amused but bless him he did oblige!

not feeling over positive though for some reason, not sure why. Sad maybe its the weather getting me down as it is positively foul here!

Anyway, good luck to those coming up to the crazy DTD week!

Aww Queen stay positive although I do understand what you mean about the weather!

I'm really struggling with the waiting too mummy, I think it's because I am just waiting to start, once I get going I hope it will get easier :) trying to fill my time with work, cinema trips, cooking and seeing friends to keep me distracted!

Yeah right now I think waiting to start within weeks is worse than the day we decided to leave it 6 months due to new job! Can't concentrate at work or home. Maybe will have to put few dates with OH in. A child's birthday party this Saturday should distract me!

Well unfortunately the witch has arrived this morning and kicked me off the January bus. Can I have a seat on the February bus please ladies?

Also, can someone give me a back rub / hot water bottle please? Thanks ever so. I'll just sit quietly in a corner seat until the witch stops stabbing me with knitting needles! Angry

The waiting around also does my head in! It is much better when you can actually start dtd and feel like you are doing something....CD3 here...yawn. Keep positive Queen

tessie totally agree that the first bit of your cycle before frantic dtd kicks in is the worst. knowing you are 4 werks away from a potential bfp is horrible and there is nothing you can do to speed it up.

why oh why does a cycle have to be so long. I wish i could squirt an egg out whenever i like. Grin
