Well I'm just waiting for AF to show up and the timings mean I miss January all together. Anyone out there who would like to join me in trying for a BFP in February? :)

Hi paddington. Also late 30s, also trying for #2. Haven't had a period since DC #1 but cut down manically on bf-ing a few weeks ago and /think/ I may finally be ovulating soon! Or hope I will.

Congratulations, night - law of sod triumphs again, even if it did take a while. Now you know you're closer to fertile window and almost time to start DTD!

Wave back Purdey and Austral. Yes, regretting leaving #2 so long as DH thinks 3 failures means I am in my dotage! Was lucky enough to be successful first time with my DD, so he's not used to waiting! You doing anything special to increase success? Any tips?

Pa! Success? What's that?? My ten month-old baby was conceived abroad using donor egg and my husband's sperm. I am now trying for a sibling but without the funds to have more IVF (boo!) I only have one functioning fallopian tube and I am older than Dot Cotton and so I believe my chances of conceiving are similar to those of the Pope being served with paternity papers.

..I am on Clomid (despite ovulating normally on my own) as I am desperate for more than one egg to be released per cycle (and on the side where my one functioning tube can pick 'em up!)

Tips: Co-enzyme Q10, omega 3 fish oil, maca root, lots of protein, the SMEP (Sperm Meets Egg Plan) and using opks. I am also beginning to see lots of women conceiving from sex the day after ovulation..

Thats a good list purdey what does maca root do? Turn you into a beetle named Paul? How do you get clomid if you are ovulating is that a GP prescription or a private deal?

Purdey see you're a northern bird. Me too. Thanks for the tips. Have bought posh OPKs this month after the cheap ones claimed I didn't ov last month. FX for us both flies gritty northern flag!
