AF arrived this morning, CD34. Probably won't be a +ive november for me either as DH is going away for 2 months sometime later this month, so he probably won't be here for my fertile window, but ya never know (in the army the dates for things change all the time, so gotta keep hoping). Will keep using my Persona this month just in case we can fit one or two BDs in at the right time.

Hi all, sorry I haven't been around the last couple of days - just couldn't get to the 'pooter and been so busy.

MrsMcJnr - hope the viewing went well. Hope the spotting stops and AF stays away. Mine seems to have, so will give it a few more days and see what happens. No symptoms at all, so not getting too excited.

Hope everyone else is having lovely weekends and enjoying the gorgeous weather (well it's gorgeous down here anyway!)

xxx

ready4motherhood · 05/11/2006 17:20

Welcome to the new posters on here, I have not been on for a few days, had visitors, so only got very brief moments on the computer. Hope everyone is ok????

Sorry to hear about your BFN Uki, fingers crossed for next month!!

Nixz - I would say wait 5 days to test after AF is due... that's what I will try to do.

I am trying not to think about being PG at the moment (probably cos I have had a weekend of naughty foods!!) and trying not the think about AF showing up next weekend. But no symptoms of anything so that helps to not think about it. Last month my mind created sore (o)(o) and nausea and AF was a day early!!

ready4motherhood · 05/11/2006 17:20

MrsMc - Any news??

cityangel · 05/11/2006 18:05

Hi everyone :0) Hey Mrs MC hope the hug is helping
Party went well and I am exhausted. Still managed to fit in bd
Fingers crossed for you all xxx

Hello Ladies, sorry not to have had a chance to get on before. Well, after the spotting yesterday and the temp drop, it rose this morning and there was no spotting, AF nothing!! So my hopes came back but then I started spotting properly about 10 mins ago. Game over I reckon at least I can still legitimately post on here until the morning when I'll have to leave for the December thread (I will come and check on you all though ).

I do feel sad tonight and cannot believe that my usual 28 day cycle spread out to 31 for no good reason but it is a good lesson to me about stress. I got myself so worked up before OV because I wasn't getting +OPKs and this is clearly the result. I will try and be more chilled out this next cycle.

Hey RachelRose - don't feel bad, I felt so positive too and it was fun to feel that excited even if it did not last How are you getting on?

Hello Nixz - not used those sorry Nixz - how many dpo are you do you think? Fingers crossed you get that BFP very, very soon

Hi KitKat - thanks for your support and good vibes, I think we just have to accept that there are just no real signs of a BFP until we actually get one LOL . How about you? howz the FM?

Uki, hello! Sorry about the BFN, I know exactly how you feel but know that is no concillation Hope AF stays away and that you get your BFP in the next few days.

Bodkin - that's good news about AF staying away!!! best of babydust to you!

Ready - fingers crossed for you and for you Firststar.

You too Cityangel, the hug was good thank you! Glad to hear the party went well.

saf1 · 05/11/2006 20:26

Hi all,

So I have decided that I am the most horrible person in the world!!

My darling s-i-l has just told me that she is about 14 wks pg and I am soooo pleased for her but sooooo jealous. This will be her 3rd child and her youngest is 10yrs, they have been ttc for almost a year. I hate feeling like this but it just seems that everyone I know is pg. One of my friends at playgroup just told me she id pg about 20wks with her...wait for it...7th child

Only 2 days till AF but it's on its way I can tell

Feeling v.sorry for myself and also want to smack myself about abit to snap out of it. Went to visit my other lovely s-i-l who is in hosp with secondary cancer she is only 36 (2yrs older than me!!) with 4 lovely children youngest same age as my dd1. I see how positive she is trying to be and it makes me feel humble to see her and worrying myself over something almost trival in comparison to her..

Sorry about the rant feeling blue going to stuff my face with choc when DH brings it homne for me.

LOL

MrsMcJnr · 05/11/2006 20:32

Hey Saf1 - what you are feeling is so totally natural, don't feel bad. TTC is hard enough and we put enough pressure on ourselves without beating yourself up about feelings you can't help . We don't think you're mean . So sorry to hear about your sick SIL, that's very, very sad.

saf1 · 05/11/2006 20:38

Thanks MrsMc.

Minshu · 05/11/2006 21:49

Been away from the 'puter for a few days, visiting family, so having difficulty catching up with you all.

Greedyguzzler - your AF pains seem pretty bad. Some months I get aches and cramps pretty much from my knees up to my belly, front and back. Fortunately, this is not the norm and was worse when I was in my teens, before I ever went on the pill. Normally it's just a dull ache or cramp in my belly and inside of my upper thighs now, and only lasts about 6-12 hours. Ibuprofen and / or heat helps.

Bodkin - pmsl about prodding boobs to see if they are sensitive. I've been doing that while driving up the M6 today (by myself) - hope nobody noticed BTW answer is yes, but no more than usual in the days just before AF.

I've not been keeping ttc a secret as I find inventing excuses about why I hardly drink any more too much like hard work. Some people are more sensitive about asking how things are going than others, but now they are bored of asking as it's been going on such a long time.

Went to the doc on Fri and was told that last month's CD21 (actually about CD23) progesterone was 52 nmol/l, which is good. Was already on CD26 by Fri, so this month's will probably be inconclusively low, but wasn't quick enough to get an earlier appt. Will book next month's as soon as AF arrives (tomorrow or Tues, I reckon).

Emz25 - how are things with you? Hope your BFP is getting fatter?

Saf1 - hope you enjoyed your choc. Don't feel bad - we all understand how important this ttc lark is.

MrsMc - sorry if this is AF, but I reckon I'll still be keeping you company on the run up to Christmas. Hope that the job situation gets a bit less unsettled.

Babydust to all for this month, or next for those of us who can hear the old bag' footsteps!!

Nixz · 06/11/2006 07:48

hi all, thanks for your replies.
Af still not here but i 'know' it will come. My cycle is usually 37 days and i start with spotting on day 34 then into AF on day 37, it is day 37 today and i have had nothing but i almost didnt want to write that and tempt fate!!!
It feels like all my adult life i have been ttc so why should this month be any different.
Went for my day 21 test last Tuesday, i will be able to phone for results today, hope fully it would reveal that i OV this month then i may stand a chance!
What a horrible wait though, im scared to go the toilet, i feel every twinge in my back and stomach - just awful and i think what scares me most is not AF arriving, but how it will make me feel
Good luck to all and dont feel bad for feeling bad

Babymad2DS · 06/11/2006 08:26

saf1 I am one of ten, I am the oldest at 25 and I have 8 brothers and one 3 year old sister, and the last information I had about my mother (we don't get on, and that as magnified by a million when she got a new partner 13days after we put our dad in the ground) is that she was trying for another !

RachelRose · 06/11/2006 08:33

Hi Nixz - I'll be keeping it all crossed today that your tests are good and AF stay away! Please keep us posted.

MrsMc - Thats so cruel that your spotting disappeared only to re-appear again! Hopefully the latest spotting has stopped too? If not, then onwards and upwards! Next month is a whole new month and you'll know all the good stuff from earlier months - Trying not to get stressed would be great. I think you are seeing someone about a new job tomorrow - Is that right?

CityAngel - Glad party went well - you must be knackered

Bodkin - whats going on with AF? Has she stayed away? Really really hope so...

Saf1 - So sorry to hear about your SIL - although it puts things in perspective, it doesn't make the 'ttc stress' any less though. Don't feel bad - Its so hard when people all around you are pregnant.

Firststar - Good luck with avoiding symptom spotting

For me, its CD25. I've been temping for this cycle and I'm so pleased I did!!! I've detected a thermal shift (I think!) so it looks like I've OV'd this month - on day 18 (although I may ask the chart spotters to check this for me). If this is all true then AF wont be due until about 13th November. For anyone wondering whether to start taking temps, I would say go for it. My CM doesn't seem to help me and OPK's just stressed me, but temping has been good so far.

RachelRose · 06/11/2006 08:36

One of 10 babymad - Wow! Sorry to hear about your Dad.

Whats the situation with you at the moment. Last I remember you had had some tests done?

KitKat30 · 06/11/2006 08:40

Hi everyone - have a week off work this week, so my posts might be a little less frequent!!

Huge MrsMcJ...if it doesnt happen for you this month, I KNOW it will soon. (FM is OK - still no peak readings ...also am getting a bit bored of POAS! )

Saf1 - so sorry to hear about your SIL.

Nixz - dont panic yet, it aint over until the old witch shows up! And that goes for all you girls in the 2ww...

Hope you have a good Monday all!

x

FemaleoftheSpecies · 06/11/2006 08:51

hang on in there mrs mc j..

good luck to everyone else

had far too much to drink at wedding on saturday. suffered all day y/day although somehow managed a first session of the month before the hangover kicked in too much.

ended up entertaining a little 5 year old along with one of hubby's friends - got v clucky but so did hubbys friend .. he'll make a lovely dad just needs to find the right woman.

aargh i'm sure i blurted out far too much info about everything while under the influence. am thinking i might go teetotal. I cannot take my drink!

Uki · 06/11/2006 08:59

Hi All
Hi Mrs Mc sorry for your drawn out to week wait.

Saf1 I don't think your horrible at all, just normal ttc anxiety. I got jealous that princess mary is preg again, I don't even know her why do I care. She just seemed to fall quickly x2 and i wish i could.
Last night i decided to put things into percpective and read a stillborn thread on another site, It was soo completly heartwrenching. I've only had m/c's but now count myself lucky. It sure did put it all into perspective.

I'm still waiting for an AF.

saf1 · 06/11/2006 09:38

HELP ADVICE PLEASE....

Just used one of those early pregnancy strips 9not sure why0 and a very faint line came up for a BFP.
AF due tomorrow could this mean I am PG??????

Will try again tomorrow but should I tell DH that I am pg or not?

Oh god I can't believe it slightly in shock and waiting for it to actually be a bfn?

Advice ???

Babymad2DS · 06/11/2006 09:44

RachelRose thanks, He die of cancer last year, still cant let it in, I don't go to see his grave and don't think about it for to long, to me he's on holiday or something, but not gone!
CD5 today, I've got a hospital appointment this Wednesday for a internal scan and x-ray, to see if I have blocked tubes, PCOS or something else, a bit worried about it, the discomfort, people looking at my bits and the out come, hopefully it's nothing, just bad timing [grin, I'm shaw it'll be fine, we had some good news DH s-test came back normal. On my 18th cycle now, seem so long since we started TTC, but I have a good feeling about this month! Fingers crossed! And how are you doing?

Hi Saf1 - If you are getting a BFP the day before AF, then I'd say you are pregnant . After all a line is a line.

It would be a good idea to test again tomorrow or the next day preferably. As you'll know from here there is sometimes a chance that a chemical pg could have occured but we'll all be hoping that this is the real thing!!!

Congratulations!!!! Very very happy for you.

Hi babymad - So sorry about your Dad. It must be so hard to come to terms with it. Fingers crossed that you get some good news soon. I really really hope you are right that this is your month!! Perhaps the stress surrounding your Dad's death has affected ttc?

Good luck on Wednesday - Its good you are going to be getting some more answers, and if there is a problem, then at least you can start addressing it.

MrsMcJnr · 06/11/2006 10:00

Well ladies, it's time for me to say goodbye to November and look forward to a positive December. AF has arrived without a doubt so that's it. I really hope that none of you join me and that I sit there all alone as that will mean you all got your BFPs and that is my wish for each and every one of you. Babydust by the bucket load. I'll be checking up on you all and coming in for a chat as I think I'll be lonely plus I'll miss you all! Positive thoughts everyone!

Minshu, Nixz really hope AF stays away.

RachelRose - so glad you have enjoyed the temping, fingers crossed that this is your month! Job "chat" is tomorow lunchtime - will keep you posted.

Ohhh Saf1 - how exciting! I'd try and keep it to myself and then test again tomorrow before telling DH but entirely up to you - very, very exciting!!
