OP posts:
stretchmarks · 07/11/2006 08:50

Mrsmc - I'm not too sure just checked my cycles to find that at the start of the year they were 28/29 days from April when we started ttc they have gone upto 33/35 days so I am expecting ov sometime on the w/c 13/11

3catstoo · 07/11/2006 09:29

Ladybump, I had a temp that was too low to record mabually, in my fist cycle of charting. It's easier to do on the software. It doesn't mean your thermometer isn't working though. Perhaps just make a note of it and continue to temp and see if that is normal for you. Maybe draw up your own chart on the pc to include a lower range of temps.
HTH.

Hi all. Off to chart spot now.
Hoping to have a productive weekend this weekend. Sunday is my predicted day of Ov.
Not done much BD ing though since AF finished. It seems like a weekend thing at the moment. DH leaves too early in the mornings and by the time he hets home at between 8.30 and 9.30 all we do is eat , clear up and go to bed (to sleep). What hope is there if I ov during the week? I guess we'll make more of an effort if the timing is right.
I do hope the software is right though as I feel so much more relaxed at the weekend.
Anyone elae expecting to Ov this week/weekend?
I shall check out the charts and see.

3catstoo · 07/11/2006 09:30

Manually !! Oh dear one of those days again !

Babymad2DS · 07/11/2006 09:54

Morning Ladies!
CD6 today, feeling pos, I have a good feeling this month, but my tummy's in knots about tomorrow! AF finished yesterday best AF to date, I had a day and half of cramps, only one heavy day, and 3 light/spotting days, big BIG difference from last month!
Good luck with "active BD season" Ladies!
Coggy I've had an internal scan before when was 9 weeks PG with DS2!, and that was uncomfortable then, will it be more uncomfortable this time, due to them looking at my ovaries?
Welcome ladybump, I do my own "excel" chart but have the basic software so I can share with the "MNers"!

Natty1806 · 07/11/2006 10:05

Morning All

No AF yet, had a bit of spotting yesterday nothing today yet but proper cramps. software has moved AF due today to 10th so not sure what is going on, i thought your LP was meant to stay roughly the same every month. Our bodies are mean at times, i just want her to come and go now so i can crack on with the next attempt.

BBWBabeLisa · 07/11/2006 10:08

Morning all. So sorry I haven't been around the last few days. Got a sick baby on my hands. Poor wee soul has got a chest infection and is in a fair bit of discomfort.

So sorry to hear we haven't had any BFPs over the weekend, but I'm confident it's only a matter of time til you're all gonna be joining me in the sleepless nights!

Gonna go try and fill in my chart for the last few days as I've had to let it slide too.

greedyguzzler · 07/11/2006 11:55

hello! as i am new at this and i now have a 31 day cycle ( for past 2 months anyway) when is my best time to really 'go for it!' with the BDing.
i know we should be doing it a lot, but sometimes its not that easy with a dh who is working ALL the time at the moment and i dont want to miss the best time! my cycle always used to be 45 days, so ov was around cd30, but now my cycle is 31 days i think! please advise! i am on cd 10 at the moment

greedyguzzler · 07/11/2006 12:00

sorry i am hopeless! i am in the wrong thread! i didnt mean to intrude on this one! i dont even know what TCOYF stands for! sorry

MrsMcJnr · 07/11/2006 12:18

Hello everyone, only got a mo to pop in so will be back later but just wanted to say Ladybump that my temps are below 36C pre-ov and before I started charting on the software, I used to do it manually and just changed the 36 on the chart to a 35 and it makes it much easier to chart, hope that helps.

Babymad2DS · 07/11/2006 12:58

Afternoon Ladies!
I'v got few ferns on my scope thing today, I believe I'm in the transitory period just before fertile period, wow, I love this thing!

How is everyone today?

Natty1806 · 07/11/2006 13:34

How does that ferning thingy work babymad?

Af has arrived now, which is why i have felt ill.

Onto cycle 3 of clomid cycle 5 of charting.

Good luck to everyone who is reaching the important part of there cycle.

LOL at GG 'i don't even know what TCOYF means' that did make me smile. Anyway GG if you are reading this i oved on CD17/18 on 31 day cycle and CD15 on 29 day cycle so i would suggest bding from now until CD20 if you can (well every other or third day)

Babymad2DS · 07/11/2006 13:41

natty have a look

MrsMcJnr · 07/11/2006 14:59

Oh Natty

Babymad2DS · 07/11/2006 15:48

MrsMcJur yes ebay £9.99 and £1.50 post! not bad i thought! plus I pay that out for OPK each month with this it's reuseable!

Natty1806 · 07/11/2006 15:54

Looks interesting. Gave up with OPK's last month think i will do the same this month, will see how you get on with yours this month.

Thanks for the hug Mrs - back to feeling positive again.

Next AF is due around 5th Dec (depending on when i ov) which is the day i am going to the clothes show so hope i don't feel as crap as i do today.

Then the one after that if they stay 29 day cycles will be 2nd Jan 07 which would be a nice new year present. And having looked at my software would be ovulating around Christmas day and am sure we will get lots of bding in around that time as it is stress free (well kind off) more about getting drunk and being merry.

And if no BFP by then i am allowed to make an appointment to see consultant (takes about 6 weeks) to see what next step is and then in march i have the lap & dye + ov drilling so have little steps to look forward to in a weird way.

Good luck for tomorrow babymad and coggy. let us know how you get on.

coggy · 07/11/2006 18:34

LOL at GG too!!!!

Sorry that AF has come Natty.....all in all a disappointing month wouldn't you say??!
Here's to Novemeber girls!!

Babymad.......my internals (to look at ovaries) are rather uncomfortable as my womb tilts backwards and they have to waggle the probe rather a lot to get it where it should be.....especially last time as I had a student nurse who was excited as I was her first 'abnormal' patient!!!!
The other nurse had to take over cos it was taking a long time to get anywhere!!!
Thinking of you tomorrow......hope you don't have a tilt!!!!!

Natty1806 · 08/11/2006 07:21

Thanks coggy, luckly with temping you know it is coming a few days before it does so when it arrives you are over the disappointment stage. Ate lots of choc yesterday so feel rather fat today.

Good luck girls. xx

Babymad2DS · 08/11/2006 07:50

Morning Ladies!
CD7 today! DH tuck the day off work to look after DS's when they get back from school. Planning a long hot bath and lots of pampering before my app. Hope everyone is fine and well, catch up later, and check charts later, bye bye for now! I'll let you know how I get on!

ladybump · 08/11/2006 08:30

Hi everyone hope your morning is going well so far. My temp was fairly consistent with yesterday this morning being 0.5c higher so i must just be a cold person!!!!! I also bought the software and it is so much asier to track. Hopefuly i learn how to share it with you soon.

coggy · 08/11/2006 10:19

Hope it all goes well Babymad.

stretchmarks · 08/11/2006 12:08

Good luck today Babymad

MrsMcJnr · 08/11/2006 12:24

Morning ladies.

Thinking about you today Babymad, hope it goes well. Come back and tell us how you got on.

Coggy - where are your tests? I'm retroverted too, so are my Mum and at least one of my sisters. It can make examinations uncomfortable can't it? I agree about last month being disappointing for us trackers. When we started out, we had Piz and that was really exciting but no-one since, hey ho! Maybe this cycle.

I'll go chart spotting in a mo. I'm in laptop wilderness so you can't see mine but my ISIS scope arrived this morning from Access Diagnostics! (saliva thingy) very exciting, used it already but no ferns which is not surprising as I am CD3. You can use it for CM too if you so wish. Might be worth a go if I get confused as to whether or not it is the best stuff this cycle.

ladybump - I must be cold too, I was down to 35.7 this morning which is pretty average for me at this stage in cycle. Have fun with the software. Make sure you tee the Fertility Planner up, I love that bit!

MrsMcJnr · 08/11/2006 12:25

BBW - meant to say, hope your little one gets better soon poor little thing!

BBWBabeLisa · 08/11/2006 16:09

Thanks MrsMcJnr. She seems to brightening up a wee bit, and she's certainly sleeping better the last couple of days. She started crawling a week or so ago and is into EVERYTHING so I'm run off my feet. My diabetic nurse said my blood sugars would plummet once she started moving (from all the exercise) and she wasn't kidding!

BabyMad, how did you get on? You've sold me on the saliva microscope thingy, I'm bidding on one ending on Friday on ebay. Am gonna use it as well as the OPKs for a bit just to get a clear picture of whether I'm actually ov'ing or not.

Wishing you all luck for this month. I'll just be using the month to get a better idea of my cycle in preparation for the next month. I don't think BFPO would take kindly to andy sending me back a sample to stick in the turkey baster!
