Natty1806 · 03/11/2006 16:26

Thanks Mrs that's so nice of you. x

I would ignore the software and say you are 11 DPO - when you testing again? Sunday? I am undecided as to bother to do one tomorrow or not or just wait and see on Tuesday. What do you think?

MrsMcJnr · 03/11/2006 16:44

Thanks Planning to wait until Sunday now but you know what it's like LOL when you're at home and the test is there. I have a super duper digital one (can't remember if CB or FR) waiting but I don't want to waste it so might do a cheapy Acon one like today on Sunday if no AF by then.

Especially given how you're feeling and your temps, I'd say try again on Sunday, after all, even though your cycles are longer than mine, the number of dpo must count for something don't you think? I will be checking to see if you have - I see there is going to outage on Sunday morning, typical!!

Natty1806 · 03/11/2006 16:53

Okay will do one Sunday if temps still high, fingers crossed one of us gets a BFP

Will either check in before 10 or after 11 once they have finsihed upgrading or what ever they are doing.

Last month 12DPO i started spotting mid morning through to mon evening when AF arrived ready for CD1 on the Tues so hopefully by Sunday i will know one way or another.

Best of Luck. x

MrsMcJnr · 03/11/2006 17:02

You too! - I'm praying for a double BFP

BBWBabeLisa · 03/11/2006 19:48

AF just arrived. CD31. Haven't had a cycle this short since I can remember. Although I'm gutted, I'm not surprised with only one BD all cycle. I'm hoping it's a good sign that the increased dose of Metformin I've been on for the last month or so is getting my hormone levels in better order. Am off to comfort eat! Still crossing everything for those of you with no AF! xxxx

Natty1806 · 03/11/2006 20:59

sorry about Af bbw, enjoy your comfort food. x

Natty1806 · 04/11/2006 07:56

Well i caved and did a test this morning knowing full well it would be a BFN but at least i can stop having that annoying conversation with myself 'am i aren't i, i feel differnet, maybe I am, know your not' You know how it goes.

Temp is still sitting high but think it will drop soon, seem to feel like a cold in the morning but after i have sorted myself out i seem fine.

Anyway onwards and upwards, did have a five min dark moment this morning where i wonder if it will ever happen and just wish someone could tell me don't worry so much it will take you another 2/3/4 years but you will be getting the family you want.

So day 1 on the healthy eating plan today, eating my branflakes at mo which have a horrible test today with no coffee.

Hope Mrs you get better news than me and everyone else is enjoying their weekends. x

Natty1806 · 04/11/2006 07:57

taste not test - obvious what is on my mind. LOl

coggy · 04/11/2006 09:07

Natty...........I have felt the same many, many times.
I wouldn't mind how long it took as long as I knew it WAS going to happen.
It gets to you after a long time doesn't it?

Sorry that you got another bfn...........try to wait til Tuesday if you can before testing again cos either AF will come or the hcg hormone will be much stronger then and show on a test (I am hoping it's the latter for you.)
X

MrsMc........stil looks good for you too??

Sorry to hear that your AF came BBWLisa.

I have had a freakily high temp today so that'll cock up my coverline for another month.....bugger!!
The software is excellent until something happens that you don't want and then it's a pain!!!

Hope everyone is having a nice firework weekend....my poor dog is shaking like a leaf.

Babymad2DS · 04/11/2006 10:52

Morning Ladies!

So sorry AF came BBWB!
Keeping my fingers crossed for Natty and MrsMcJur, good luck Ladies!
Stretchmarks, coggy and 3catstoo, here's to a lucky cycle for all of us!
Coggy my dog's not scared of anything......apart of a 7inch hamster!

Off to town and later watching fireworks, hope everyone has a fab weekend!

Natty1806 · 04/11/2006 11:54

Thanks coggy, glad to know I am not the only one who feels this way. it is just so depressing at times.

no, no way am i testing again.

Have a nice weekend, my dog does not seem that bothered by fireworks. Going to a display later so that should be good, and a bit of Christmas shopping tomorrow.

MrsMcJnr · 04/11/2006 15:41

Hey ladies, I'm sorry to hear about AF BBW, and about that BFN Natty, hope it's just a BFP taking it's time to develop.

It does not look like I'll be testing tomorrow, I have spotting today but no PMT or other AF signs the software has told me it might be implementation spotting - yeah, right!! Anyway, surprisingly, I'm not that down and am feeling positive for the next cycle.

Hello to all of you and wishing you all babydust for this cycle where ever you are in it x

coggy · 04/11/2006 16:08

Did it MrsMc?
The software has never told me anything exciting like that!!!!!

Natty......I often feel fed up with the wait.
I supposed it's given me something to concentrate on after having my ds but now I just wish it would hurry up and happen!!!
Life is mean sometimes and I can't help thinking that it wouldn't have been quite so cruel if it hadn't taken us such a long time to fall pg in the first place or if this time had happened much quicker!!!!!
I know that there is a reason for everything...but sometimes I want to know that reason NOW!!!!!!!!

My dog would LOVE to meet your hamster Babymad......a nice little pre-dinner snack I should think!!!
She's VERY badly behaved when it comes to small animals and we have to keep her muzzled on walks in case a cat or small dog gets too close!!!
She's been bred to chase and kill so it's her instinct I'm afraid.......but she is a beautiful dog around people and around the house.

MrsMcJnr · 04/11/2006 16:33

Hi Coggy, yup, it did and then when I looked it up in the glossary, it said it was most likely to happen 7-10 days after OV and I'm 12 or 11 if you believe the software yesterday! It appears that it now can't count either!! grrrrrr.

I think you are amazing Coggy, you have been through so much but remain so positive and upbeat. The children that have you for a Mummy will be truly blessed and I hope that you get them really soon. You too Natty, I know the world isn't fair but the injustice makes me really question the whole issue of divinity sometimes, if this is all part of a grand plan, surely we could have a sneak preview of the good things to come just as a taster?!

What things are you trying/doing differently this cycle?

Next cycle, I am going to:

  1. Take Natty's lead and eat much better food & drink much less.
  2. Forget the OPKs, I blame them for my late OV this cycle!
  3. Look into complimentary therapies and maybe go for Reiki or Acupuncture.
  4. Try and BD more consistenly throughout the cycle (avoiding 1st 3 days of cycle - according to Chinese medicine book.
  5. Look into saliva ferning for next cycle.
  6. Try and relax more!
  7. Give up the cough mixture, just not happy taking it so much for so long.

Natty1806 · 05/11/2006 08:24

Sorry about the spotting Mrs, as you can see from my chart temp is heading down now, think it throughs in a high temp towards the end to get me excited.

Yesterday i had my first on line delivery from Asda and 3 things were missing, most of the organic stuff i ordered they sent normal stuff. So after the BFN and that feeling like it was the end of the world, i had big cry, i burst into tears and sobbed like a baby (don't mind admitting it to you lot) i really felt like i might have been this month so was very disappointed.

Not sure what to do this cycle apart from the healthier lifestyle. Was thinking of maybe giving up temping etc for 2 months and then start again in the new year but in reality it would mean not coming onto MN and i would not want to miss out on seeing one of you guys get a BFP.

Coggy - you dereve you family so much, you have been through loads and god only know how you manage to get through a day let alone a cyle. It makes me feel selfish for the way i feel.

maybe i should visit a medium (sp?) and see if she can tell me anything about my future - what to do you think?

Anyway seem to have rambled on now, if no BFP this morning Mrs at least your LP has got longer which is a good thing.

xx

coggy · 05/11/2006 09:23

No-one needs to think they're selfish for the way they feel.
You can't help the way you feel........it's the way you act that makes you selfish IMO!!
(Obviously not YOU Natty....I mean the way one acts!!!!!!)
And these things are all relative anyway.
We are all having a struggle ttc and it doesn't matter what anyone else has gone through really because each one of us can only ever truly experience what we are going through.
So I guess I'm saying that all fed-up/cross/frustrated feelings etc are as valid as each other no matter how similar or different our backgrounds are.
Does that make any sense earlyish on a Sunday morning!!!???

Personally I would avoid the medium (sp?? no idea either!!) as I wouldn't dabble in anything that I didn't understand.......very dodgy IMO!!!
And what if she said something that you didn't want to hear.....you'd carry that round for the rest of your life........
I would definitely avoid going down that route.

MrsMc...........are we going to hear from you before 10am I wonder????

Morning Ladies!

Natty and MrsMcJur I was thinking about you two all day yesterday, fingers still crossed!

Natty I started doing Asda online about this time last year, never ever looked back, very very good, the reason why I stared doing it is my children, DS2 was at nursery for 2 and a half hours in the morning, it was never enough time, as I had to catch the bus, then do my shopping go though the "check out", than wait for taxis home, shopping in the house, then rush and get DS2 from nursery, or it was wait to get him from nursery then take him, he use to blackmail me, be good and you can have "something" by the time I came out the place DS had sweets, magazine and a toy, but the same thing rush home to pick DS1 from school or it was take both after school, it was so stress full with the children or so worrying that your going to be late picking them up without them, couldn't win, online was a god send for me, now when shopping gets delivered they help put it away, and pretend its there own little supermarket! Bless! Doing online has saved me money as I use to go to adsa, do I need this? do I need that? pick it up just in case, now when I do it online as I'm going though it I check the cupboards. Also the cost of getting to and from Asda use to cost me about £8 but delivery charge is only £3.99 so saving money there too! soz for going on, i just love online shopping!

Coggy When my hamster goes into her ball, our dog rush's into the kitchen into her pen then close's her door, just so she can get away from the hamster, so funny to see our big dog running away from such a small thing!

Stretchmarks, BBWB, and 3catstoo how are you today!

Natty1806 · 05/11/2006 11:57

That does make sense coggy think your right about the medium just wish i has a crystal ball at times.

Am def going to try and chill out this month, i said that last month and do well up unitl about CD12 then the alarm bells start ringing about getting enough bding in and then it is the two week wait and that stresses me out so much but at least when AF arrives on Tuesday i will have two months of good cycles to comapre against.

Sorry if i have rambled on. Babymad sounds like ASda on line saves you lots of money, do you not drive?

MrsMcJnr · 05/11/2006 20:03

Hey ladies, sorry this is my first chance to get on today.

Natty, sending you huge hugs and just wishing I could grant you your heart's desire. I really thought the same this cycle, that I'd cracked it and even that BFN on Friday didn't dampen my spirits but the last 24 hours have.

The spotting stopped and my temp went back up to 36.4 this morning and AF did not come, just nothing. I started to get my hopes up again but 10 mins ago, I started spotting again this time proper spotting (TMI alert - red not brown) so I do think I have to accept now that AF is on her way and there is no reprieve.

You are right, it is better to have a longer LP this month and for that I should be glad but I just feel so sad, a 31day cycle instead of 28 and all for nothing.

Hello Coggy and Babymad and thanks for your thoughts for me

coggy · 05/11/2006 20:17

to hear that MrsMc.............I thought it sounded SO good for you and Natty this month.
Boo hoo for all of us.
