MrsMcJnr · 01/11/2006 17:12

I know Natty, I will too! I have set the software to recognise disturbances but maybe it decided to wait and see!

Welcome CityAngel - if you need any help with the software let us know.

Babymad2DS · 01/11/2006 20:08

Dont know why but I feel AF will be here before I go to bed, I've even got an ST on because I really believe that I will be posting soon CD1! Watch this space!

Good luck MrsMcJur and Natty, really ruting for you!

BBWBabeLisa · 01/11/2006 20:12

Evening all! Anyone around or are you all off having more of a life than me?
Glad the s-test website was of some interest. I occassionally have my uses .
DD is loaded with a stinking cold today poor wee soul, so I haven't had much of a chance to get on the puter (she usually has a 2 hour afternoon nap, but not today!).

Took my temp for the first time this morning, think I may have done it wrong though, as I was kinda awake on and off from 7am waiting for DD to wake up but didn't actually sit up and take my temp til she woke at 7.50. Should I have taken it as soon as I woke for the first time at 7am? It's CD29 (I'm usually 34-35 cycle) it was 37.77, is that about right? Can't check it against your charts coz they still won't load for me for some reason.

Babymad - PMSL at "super-spunk man" comments. Really hoping AF doesn't visit you tonight.

MrsMcJnr - Sorry to read you're feeling a wee bit negative. Would it take your mind off it for a few mins if I asked you to explain a wee bit about "setting the software up for disturbances"? Whats that all about and how do you do it?

Natty - If AF does come theres nowt wrong with a few tears. Better that than bottling it up. Isn't that sposed to be one of the reasons women tend to outlive men, we let our stress out more freely?

Babymad2DS · 01/11/2006 20:17

BBWB i'm here! how long have you been TTC? cant help with the temp thing but something i would like to know just in case it happens to me!

BBWBabeLisa · 01/11/2006 20:27

Hi babymad, this time around I've only had 2 cycles TTC (this one and the one before). My DD was born in January after 18 depressed months of trying and for about 6 months post-birth I was in too much pain to even think about it. Once I was ready to start trying again I had to get my blood sugars stable before the hospital would give me the go-ahead to start trying.
I have been using Persona for both these cycles (worked for me on 2nd month of using it with DD) but on both it has picked up no ovulation at all, and I think it's coz I'm ovulating too late in the cycle for it to pick it up - hence the move to charting.
How bout you?

P.S. Does anyone know what a constant dull ache towards the right hand side of my lower abdomen could signal(kinda where I imagine an ovary to be)? Had it for several hours now.

Babymad2DS · 01/11/2006 20:40

BBWB been TTC 17months, since June 2005, had blood tests came back okay, sperm test normal, and going for scan and x-ray next week to find out weather I have PCOS, or blocked tubes or anything else! Started charting back in August this year and I feel more in control now also learning alot about my body too. I had been using O-tion wee on tests but I was get up to nine pos in a row, not good. Wish you all the luck BBWB.

BBWBabeLisa · 01/11/2006 20:43

I've bought a load of those ov tests too, will see how I go with them in conunction with charting. Wishing you loads of babydust!

coggy · 01/11/2006 20:45

BBWLisa................Wow! You are HOT!!!!!!
Are you 37.7 in centigrade???
That is ON FIRE!!!!!!
Could be a good sign if you are near the end of your cycle.
My highest temp is 37.0 (ish) and I tend to be hotter than Natty or MrsMc.

Cityangel...I'm on my second CBFM cycle so we can compare notes on that as well this month!!!

Babymad2DS · 01/11/2006 20:48

BBWB I brought a saliva ovulation microscope last week as it's reusable and so sick of buying them wee on tests! Good luck with your test hope they do the trick! Babymadxxx

BBWBabeLisa · 01/11/2006 21:50

Sorry folks, another question, why does my chart not show the temperature figures? It's here but for some reason on the bit where it has recorded my temperature theres no way of telling what that temperature is. Have I got a setting wrong or something?

Babymad2DS · 01/11/2006 22:16

Sorry bad news AF is here for me, very very very very light but still AF I'll be in full flow tomorrow. Never had a 29 day cycle before! Not really tuck it in yet all my hope gone, I alowed myself to hope today but just turned out that my body played a nasty trick on me, feeling very sick all night, boobs hurting and so hungry, all made me think..........I'm sure that I'll have a cry tomorrow but just off to bed, I knew I would, just had that feeling a hour or two ago that AF would came before I went to bed and it has. At least I have me Hospital appointment next week maybe get some answers as to why it's taking so long for my so longed for 3rd child. Getting upset now so I'm off to get some sleep and to forget for a few hours, soz for going on! Good Luck MrsMcJur and Natty!

BBWBabeLisa · 02/11/2006 08:52

Aww BabyMad, so sorry! Look after yourself, give your mind & body a few days pampering then get positive for next month.

Any other news ladies? Anybody tested?

This should give y'all a laugh. I'm obviously completely thick. My thermometer is not in celcius! I can only think I must have read 97.77 as 37.77. Anyway, that solves the problem of my chart not showing figures, it was obviously confused that I'd set it up for fahrenheit then entered 37.77! Needless to say, I've scrapped yesterday's recording and starting again today. Thank goodness I've got a week or so to get used to this before my next cycle starts.

Where do y'all take your temp? I mean mouth, underarm, elsewhere?

coggy · 02/11/2006 09:17

I thought you were bloomin' scroching BBWLisa!!!!!
That explains it all!!!!

Don't worry..........we have all had teething problems.

Bummer for you Babymad.
Hope you are okay this morning.
X

Natty1806 · 02/11/2006 09:18

So sorry babymad, have a few tears and then get on with the next cycle.

BBW - glad you got your software sorted.

I take my temp as soon as i wake up at 5.30 and i do it in my mouth.

Going to chart spot now if i can see them today. x

Natty1806 · 02/11/2006 09:22

Whats you temp today Mrs???

Coggy are you going to take the 5th tablet of clomid? Jab this month?

MrsMcJnr · 02/11/2006 09:44

In a dash but will be back later. Babymad - so sorry my friend , get those tests done, rule things out, don't get ill this cycle and get very busy at OV time and huge hugs. Temp stayed the same today so can't tell a thing from that!! Much happier today though - again, for no reason. I have horrible blue veins on my boobs!! Started last night. Speak later. x

Natty1806 · 02/11/2006 09:47

OMG it is sounding so good for you Mrs

My light cramps seem to feel more like AF cramps now so losing hope fast. Oh well x

1n2s · 02/11/2006 10:00

Hi all,

I'm now on CD5 and the big painful AF is now over for another month - hooray!! I've just had my ultrasound scan today so hopefully things are ok and no cysts on the old ovaries, I'll keep you posted.

This temperature recording sounds very confusing! I may be joining you all soon. This month I am going to do what the GP instructed and not buy OTK but try and BD 2 -3 times every week instead. (Also need to save some cash for xmas and those OTK are getting mighty expensive). I find obsessing about it all too much, having said that I have started fish oil and EPO and will be trying the grapefruit also

Babymad - I was having the same problems, awful crampy pains and nausea for a week before AF arrived, GP arranged the scan to rule out PCOS. She said it was most likely to be hormones though.

MrsMcJr - all your symptoms are sounding hopeful. When is AF due?

Sounds like there's a lot of you living up north - anyone living down south west? I'm in the Bucks/Berks area.

Natty1806 · 02/11/2006 10:03

I live in the bucks/Oxon area.

Babymad2DS · 02/11/2006 10:10

Morning Ladies.
Yes full flow this morning so HATE AF and my body for playing nasty tricks on my. I was sick this morning and DH got his hopes up only to be told by me that AF came last night. Didn't bother taking temp this morning as I got up at 5am just couldn't sleep, but temp is always 36.6-36.7 on CD1 so I'll stick that in my NEW chart when my software isn't playing up. Got really bad cramps but got a thermal heat pad on which is really nice, also got really bad sickness and I don't know why!?
Good luck Natty and MrcMcJur!
How is everyone?
1n2 Same thing, the PCOS and hormones, going for mine on Wednesday, when is your hospital app?

Natty1806 · 02/11/2006 10:17

Thanks Babymad. I don't usually record CD1 temp as i am too p*ed off to care.

Decided yesterday that if i have to have IVF next year (think i will miss out IUI depending on what consultant says in march) that i am going to go to the Lister and if i read their web site correctly you get some of the treatment free if you donate some of your eggs as well which is something i would definatley consider.

Coggy - how many trys at IUI do you get on the NHS?

3catstoo · 02/11/2006 10:17

Morning all.

Sorry about AF Babymad.

What's up with this software this week?

I'm in the Bucks/Beds area. Well quite close to 3 borders Bucks, Beds and Herts.

CD 5 for me and still have AF.

What day are you on Natty?
How about you MrsMc?

Good luck.

Lovely pics BBW. I agree that you cheated on the pic of yourself.

Great site though. I'm rubbish at doing things like that.

Natty1806 · 02/11/2006 10:23

9 DPO for me today but have got AF like cramps so am now on knicker watching duty. LOL

stretchmarks · 02/11/2006 10:48

Morning all,

Babymad sorry af has arrived.

MrsMc - yours is looking hopeful, when will you test ?
Natty - hoping your cramps aren't AF.

How cold is it today - we had frost on the cars this morning. I am working from home today - have several jumpers on and nice hot cup of tea.

What's everyones plans for the weekend. I have my works party on Friday night - had an email this week to say we will be getting vouchers to exchange at the bar for drinks - limiting our intake which I think is a good idea after last year - just have to pace myself with the wine over dinner now !!!!

Then saturday we have friends over to ours as we are going over to the local bonfire and fireworks display. Which I love just need to find my hat gloves and scarf now.
