Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 11:02

Fingers crossed she does not arrive today for you and give you an extra day past ov, are you planning on using the CBFM this month? How many months of clomid do you have left?

wannaBe1974 · 01/09/2006 11:39

hiya all

coggy am keeping everything crossed that your af doesn't show.

Trace sorry to hear you are feeling like this deep breath, it will be ok .

Although am a fine one to talk - have got up in a bad mood also and feeling sick and my temp shot up this morning and was initially hopeful but then figured the sick feeling is just a cold or similar, ah well bodies ey, lol.

Angsthase · 01/09/2006 13:17

Flippin 'eck, only out of the office for one day and it's taken me 4 hours to catch up with this thread (inbetween actually trying to do my job for a change) !

It seems even when I'm away from the internet I can't get away from friends announcing they're pg. Got an email from a friend on my crappy blueberry, the usual "surprise, wasn't planned, bla bla bla". Exactly what you want to hear when you're coming up to your 2 year anniversary of ttc.
Boo hiss, rant over.

Chin up Trace, the sun and sea would only wreck your hair anyway, and you'd only have to end up getting it done again, so stick it in a ponytail and save some money Honestly though, hope you feel better hun xx

Andi AF has arrived.

Coggy Hoping AF doesn't show up.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

coggy · 01/09/2006 13:34

Angsthase...LOL at your "Boo, Hiss"...that sums it up exactly!!!!!

Also have to agree on the old hair front......much better to have it done after the ravages of sea, surf and sand!!!

Natty....will I ever get to use the CBFM????!!!!
I think next month is my last clomid so if I have the hcg jab there's no point using the monitor (cos obviously I know when ov is) but then.....very scarily......they said I may be due for IUI treatment.
I'm trying not to think about it as it's all getting a bit too serious for my liking now!!!!

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 13:53

Coggy - will you have to be put on a waiting list? Surely there is someone out there who can invent a drug to increase your days past ov.

Angsthase - completley understand to be honest it really f@*#s me off, espcially the 'not really trying part' aaaaaaggggghhhhhh

CD38 for me am counting down the days to see doc to help bring on AF, to be honest i think i will be happy for a few regular cycles as since being told i don't ovulate (Feb06) i don't even feel as if i am trying cause i can't get pregnant so am looking forward to a fresh start IYKWIM

At least when i had no idea what was wrong with my stupid body i always had hope no i have nothing.

Bring on the AF, Bring on the clomid, bring on Ovulation, Bring on B'ding and then bloody give me a BFP!!!!!!!!

soz i do get a bit carried away maybe AF is on her way .......or i am a nutter?????

coggy · 01/09/2006 13:55

LOL Natty......bring it on!!!!

I have been on the IUI waiting list for about 12 months........seemed like a long waiting list so now I am a bit scared that it has come round without me getting a BFP in the meantime.

Really thought that I would!! [disappointed emoticon]

ShowOfHands · 01/09/2006 13:55

Cripes coggy, serious indeed. Still, there's time before they chuck you down that route.

trace- have some chocolate and a cuddle with your wee boy and book an appointment for after your hols. Could you buy some nice shampoo and intensive conditioner or something to tide you over and make your hair feel a bit special till then? I find a few colourful head scarves go a long way when my hair needs fixing.

Angsthase, good to know I'm not the only one who suffers from friends/colleagues/randoms announcing their 'stealth pregnancies' with delighted titter of 'ooh I don't even remember having sex tee hee, look at me'.

Boo hiss indeed.

I'm feeling slightly more chipper than of late today. It's Friday, we're going to pick up our first ever car this evening (means we can have days out that aren't within cycling distance) and we inherited a new cat today (friends moving into rented accommodation, no pets allowed).

Happy Friday all.

ShowOfHands · 01/09/2006 13:59

Just realised that next cycle is my last chance to conceive before I hit a year of trying. I'm still stuck in that 'ooh it's just taking a bit longer than anticipated' mode. If I go to the GP and say it's been a year they might find some huge underlying problem. It's beyond ridiculous that I'd rather not know.

coggy · 01/09/2006 14:01

SOH.....that's like me putting off the next phase of treatment.

I just think it'll miraculously happen!!!!

BTW the nurse I saw last week told me that she thought I was due for IUI NEXT MONTH.
Ooooooooooohhhhhh................................

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 14:04

SOH - first car, gosh you must be fit if you walk and cyle everwhere.

Coggy - feel for you hun, it must be very scary but am sure it will help you and you never know you may get a BFP before having to go down that route, a lady named bubble ? had an on line IUI diary on here and think she has had her baby now so that might be worth a read nearer the time.

Hi and bye to everyone else going to crack on with some work now as i am off next week. Yipppeeeeeeeee

ShowOfHands · 01/09/2006 14:05

I've given up on miracles coggy. I thought if I just had sex with wanton abandonment I'd be at least slightly up the duff.

It'd all be so funny if it weren't so bloomin' terrible.

ShowOfHands · 01/09/2006 14:09

I guess I am pretty fit and healthy Natty, fat lot of good it does you when ttc. I have a colleague who eats jaffa cakes and chocolate biscuits as her staple diet, drives everywhere and falls pregnant if somebody brushes up against her at the copy machine. She's got at least 15 children at the last count.

I'm very at your week off.

coggy · 01/09/2006 14:40

LOL!!!!

Angsthase · 01/09/2006 15:03

Natty you're not a nutter, coz if you are that makes me one - so we're officially sometimes just a little highly strung regarding ttc - but only sometimes

SOH - PMSL. I'm sure said co-worker is a very nice person, but you just feel like shouting "BITCH!!!", well I do anyway, and can almost feel the venom seeping from my skin when such ladies make an announcement like, "Oh look at that, up the duff agan, silly me, forgot my pill, oh dear" gggrrrrrr

Angsthase · 01/09/2006 15:11

Oh yes, and while I'm at it Royal Jelly tastes bloody awful, better be worth it at flipping £90 for 3 months. DH was very and almost . If I don't get up the duff in the next 3 mths I'm in deep doodie.

Booboobedoo · 01/09/2006 15:28

Hi ladies!

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to some old friends

Am sending lots of baby-vibes your way, and extra hugs to Trace, ladybump, and pinkranger after their horrible recent experiences. I think you're all very brave.

Coggy: fingers crossed AF stays away. It's only right that you should get PG the month before you're due for IUI.

Found out the other day that I conceived on CD11 of my cycle: much earlier than I 'should' have done. That 14 day rule is bllcks, isn't it?

Chins up and legs in the air ladies. I know what it's like trying for feckin' ever to get PG. We need crystal balls (not on our DH's obviously).

coggy · 01/09/2006 16:36

Good to see you Booboo.

GP school should be told about the non-14 day thing.....it would save a lot of people trying for so long with no luck eh?!

katierocket · 01/09/2006 17:25

would any of you ladies like a clearblue preg test? I'd rather it went to someone whose been trying for a while (i was TTC no 2 for 2 years so know what it's like). If anyone wants it (for free of course) do CAT me

trace2 · 01/09/2006 17:40

me please

OP posts:
PhoenixGirl · 01/09/2006 17:43

Sorry to hijack - trace can u come on msn for a bit to see wot we doin tonight

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 18:12

Andsthase - glad i am not the only one out there.

SOH - i think the healthy eating stuff is useless at times i mean just look at all the people who get pregnant eating junk food, smoking and drinking.

Hi Boo - how's everything with you, how many weeks now?

sarahsbump · 02/09/2006 13:22

Hi all I just wanted to say good luck to you all

wannaBe1974 · 02/09/2006 14:32

hello all

Coggy hope af is staying away for you,

Trace hope you're feeling a bit better today, not long till you're on holiday now.

hope that everyone else is ok today.

Well my dh is still not doing well with the fertility plus, for some reason it appears to exaserbate all his alergies and he's been walking round the house sneezing for the past two weeks. it can only be that, because nothing else has changed, he feels rough all of the time, so I've told him to stop taking it. He does feel bad, says he's failed me, but I don't want his health to suffer, that just wouldn't be fair, so it's time he called it a day and stopped overloading his body with vitamins/minerals which obviously aren't doing him much good. I can only hope now that his count might improve with time, but I'm now very realistic about my chances of having another baby. When everything goes wrong it's just best to accept that it's not meant to be .

Last night was really hopeful as had been feeling nausious and extremely tired, but really should get a grip as I know it's just not going to happen - i do this every month.

coggy · 02/09/2006 14:53

Oh wannaBe......you and me both!!

Every month I promise I won't spot symptoms.... and every month I do!!

If I had no sex for a month I would probably still be hopefull!!!!
'Spose it's what keeps us 'oldies' going??

No sign of AF today....no cramps either - hurrah....but this happened last month AND the month before......so NO SYMPTOM SPOTTING ALLOWED HERE!!!!!!!!!

TCOYF sofware predicts my AF tomorrow....I predicted it yesterday!!!
I have gained a day anyway in my lp so that's a second month.........getting somewhere slowly!!!
