yay count me in!

I know exactly what you mean, generally people come and go on the other threads, they're there a month or two and then they're gone, and it's easy to feel left behind. excellent idea

andi0411 · 27/08/2006 21:16

Count me in too pls. I can see my beinghere for a while yet.
Ta

yes natty, i am really pleased when they get there bfp , its just a little sad whenthey do kmowing am and others whos been trying for ages

OP posts:
coggy · 28/08/2006 17:07

I have just sat and read the positive Sept and Aug threads for nearly an hour with no mention of you Trace (I wanted to ask you a question!!) and many names I don't know well.....weirdly enough I was thinking about starting up a "ttc for more than 12 months" thread which I knew would include all of us lot and Natty.

Great minds think alike and all that!!

Natty1806 · 28/08/2006 17:51

My DP know when people get BFP on mn because my mood changes to slightly down and sorry for myself he can read me like a book, apart from the ones that have been trying a long time like me it give me hope and i have a on my face all day. x

andi0411 · 28/08/2006 19:06

Thanks Trace 2. if I had knwn about MN when I lost my first baby all that time ago I would be a veteran now!!

I feel genuine happiness for those that come on here and quickly get their bfp and move to other topics- but I feel sad for all of us other ladies who have been ttc for a while and have problems - in all honesty it gives me MORE hope when one of us gets our bfp because I know our trials and efforts are painful and confusing and often not going to be resolved within the first 6-12 months of ttc. Thanks for this.

coggy · 28/08/2006 19:16

I think what it is is that we build up a good relationship with each other after being on here for so long and that's why we are genuinely excitied for each other.

When people come and get their BFPs quickly....not only does it make us a little bit sad...but we don't really know tham well either.

That's what I think anyway!!
Wise words of Coggys (not!!)

In RL you don't have quite so many BFPs around you as on here....so it does magnify the fact that we are still waiting for ours.

trace2 · 28/08/2006 19:27

aww yove all given me tears reading those few words and now i know am not alone((hugs to us all))) and hope we all or atleast a few or even one gets our long awaited bfp, and hope they stick.

coggy what do you wana ask me ??

OP posts:
manuka · 28/08/2006 19:34

Hello I really don't want to get in the way and stick my nose in etc or piss anyone off I just really care about how you all feel cos I was in your position, mc twice and not ovulating cos mad hormones and now I've had my dd I want to help other women who feel how I felt.
I just read some research about pesticides and how even small amounts can affect hormone systems so its something to bear in mind. In California women were miscarrying as a result of pesticides and experiments done on male frogs with very low dose pesticides turned them into hermaphrodytes.
Its worth reading up about so you can avoid consuming too much of it and rule it out as a possible cause to your current situation.
Once again sorry if I'm sticking my nose in and I wish you all the very best. x

coggy · 28/08/2006 19:37

I wanted your expert opinion on temp stuff trace - haven't done it for a few years (and didn't really know what I was doing then anyway!!!)

I know you get a rise after ov.
How many days in a row make a rise? (Does that make sense?)

And also....you have often said that you knew that AF was on her wretched way.....do your temps drop before she comes then......do they stay the same or go up if you are pg??!!

I just need the absolute basics!!!
Too dim to take anymore in!!!!!

trace2 · 28/08/2006 19:38

manuka thank you i will read up on this

OP posts:
trace2 · 28/08/2006 19:47

coggy yes its 3 days of a high to know you have ovulated as some times it can start then go back,
some get a dip befor a rise i dont and i dont get cervical fluid either so i do stick to and i find if i get a surge, twi days later i get a rise, and i only use cheap e-bay ones too.

and yes mt temp drops on af day, and if you get a second rise that can mean pg like mine did the other month also after 18 days of high is an other way to say your pg, also i new i was going to m/c as temp droped down to below cover line even though i was not bleeding, so just had to wait for m/c to start.

OP posts:
trace2 · 28/08/2006 19:49

ive also started checking my cervial position, and found it was still closed when i was pg, but this month its snaped back so dont think weve manged this month either

OP posts:
coggy · 28/08/2006 20:04

Thanks Trace - I knew that you worked out that you were pg by using temping.......

How do you do your cervix height (or is that a really thick question???!!!)

wannaBe1974 · 28/08/2006 20:22

hiya all

Coggy glad to see you back

I too am happy for those who get bfp's, but I do think that those that get them ve quickly take it for granted a bit almost. Was very happy when Peachy got her bfp and when you did too trace - and you will again

Have just spent the day cleaning my house so we can put it on the market ... yikes.

trace2 · 28/08/2006 20:47

am back just took ds to bed

coggy first few months i kept reading toni book ans checking and could not understand it, i used to check a few times befor ovulation, and then about 4 days after ovulation and could not work out why it it anit changed until one monthi checked on day after ovulation! and wow it had changed very low down, hope this helps but really its getting to know your own body and at the right time.

oh check in same postion every time it changes,

wannbe you still thinking of leaving us?

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 29/08/2006 07:33

Morning Ladies

Slighty off the current subject but would love your thoughts on this.

am on CD35 fertility nurse said if i go past 42 days to get doctor to give me the drug that will bring on a period so that i can start clomid, the thing is as this is a false period do you think i should see gp next week or just wait for AF to arrive?

thanks

trace2 · 29/08/2006 08:10

natty i would go and get the pill, they must know what there doing, good luck

OP posts:
coggy · 29/08/2006 09:08

Natty - I am going back round to trusting the 'experts' again!!!

Totally trusted them before without question....then found infomation on here that made me question things.....then asked my questions and now trust them!!!!!

Ask a few questions so that you feel confident and they'll 'prove' they know their stuff!!!
