Cor i wish my neighbours were half a mile away.

Babymad4num3 · 24/09/2006 22:36

Coggy just want to wish you all the best tomorrow, good luck chick!!

Natty1806 sounds like our neighbours, they came round if our music is a little loud in the day but they have it blasting from 10 o'clock till 2-3 o'clock in the morning. And don't even get me started on their argument, my DS 4yrs asks "are they killing each other mum", I tell him "no son their just having a little disagreement". It's alright for them a mum and a late teens DD but me I have 2 DS's 4 and 6 yrs, some time I think nasty thoughts heheheh but maybe not!

Andi0411 that dose sound bliss! I wish i lived away from neighbours too!

NattyandThomas · 25/09/2006 00:26

wannaBe1974 · 25/09/2006 09:34

morning all

Well did get back on Friday but didn't log on here till now. Haven't read through all posts so congrats to any bfp's, and coggy good luck for today - am keeping everything crossed for you

well .. am on cd16 today. Af arrived two days after we arrived in Majorca so once again it's a non starter, to be expected though really. Didn't go back on the pill as forgot to take them with me, but haven't really bd this month so there's no chance of anything happening this month either. pretty blasay about it now really, it's not going to happen so that's just that, did find myself feeling very hopeful up till the point af arrived, was even thinking that I wished I'd brought a test with me, but I no longer feel that terrible disappointment that I used to feel when af arrives.

so how is everyone? all ok I hope? have I missed any bfp's?

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 10:05

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 11:16

Morning all, Thanks for your thoughts.

Am trying to put it all in perspective, but don't really know where to start. Not feeling very pg yet. No sore boobs, just tired, but don't know whether that's just emotional exhaustion from last week.

Coggy hope your appt went well. I'm just going to postpone my 4th Oct one, as I don't want to have to wait another 3 mths if I mc again with this pg.

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 11:33

JL2, big hugs (and missing you)

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 11:34

JL2, big hugs (and missing you)

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 11:35

that much

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 11:41

Thanks MrsMJ. It's good to be back. Just trying to get back to normal. Not looking forward to funeral on Thurs, but DH and I are then down in Dorset for a long weekend, so plenty of time to relax and recover.
How are you?

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 11:46

I am glad to hear that you are able to say goodbye properly so soon, I was worried you'd be left waiting due to how it happened. Hope the weekend in Dorset helps you find "closure" I know that is so American but there is really no British phrase to describe that is there?

I'm ok, being brave about my house, it's on the web now but now more than ever, I realise it's just a house. Job is worrying me a bit, might have to move on and feel a bit burdened with that at the mo. They have suggested I go part time (I am only employee and we need cash reduction) but I can't survive on reduced wages just now so I think I'll have to go FT elsewhere - I think 2 PT jobs would be exhasuting. All a bit tricky when trying to get pg at the same time but I am not prepared to put that on hold, we will find a way!

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 11:53

Didn't know you were moving. Must have missed that. Whats the reason?

I want to move if this pg works out. We live in the third floor flat in a very central, but non too celubrious area, so looking to find somewhere with outdoor space next time.

Changing jobs and ttc = mucho stress. Try to get your CV into agencies and let them do all the work.

Know what you mean about "closure". Just hope my sister can find some. Being far away makes it much easier to deal with on a day to day basis, just more worrying on the family side of things.

Natty1806 · 25/09/2006 12:28

Big hug from me Juicy.

Mrs - glad your feeling better about the house situation and hope you manage to find a FT job soon.

Natty1806 · 25/09/2006 12:29

SOrry wannabe - welcome back glad you have a lovely time.

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 12:32

Thanks Natty. Keep those legs in the air

Yeh - welcome back wannabe

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 12:33

I know what you mean about it being hard when your family are far away, I am sure your sister knows that you are there for her though .

Re moving, it's a bit of a long story, so I won't bore you with it all but suffice to say, the house is a real money drain and we have a flat too that we rent out so we think it would be better to move back there and stop worrying about money as much all the time. It also means that the dream of moving to Spain might become a reality if we pay off things quicker. We also feel that if we want a family, we have to move or else we just cannot do it financially. I love the house and I'll miss the garden and all the space (we have 5 bedrooms at the mo!) but the flat is also lovely, spacious, 2 beds in the centre of Edinburgh and it was our first love nest so I am sure we'll be happy there again.

Job front is a bit stressful but I have a make or break meeting next week and I'll take action after that if necessary!

Take care of you (and mini JL2) x

wannaBe1974 · 25/09/2006 12:48

jl so sorry for your loss, have just caught up on this thread, have doctors offered any explanation as to why it happened? I do hope that you can all find some closure too

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 12:57

Wannabe - the autopsy was inconclusive, so we have to await test results - at least 8 weeks followed by inquest which will probably not conclude until the beginning of 2007. All of which is dreadful for my sister.

Booboobedoo · 25/09/2006 13:50

Hi: just popping on to say coggy, I'm thinking of you today, and will pop on later to see the full report (if you've got the energy).

Natty: I used to have rows like that all the time with my DH when we were TTC: hope you're ok now.

Congratulations SKBF

Natty1806 · 25/09/2006 14:25

Yeah i am okay now, thanks Booboo, think it makes us slighlty unrational all this ttc lark and timings.

How you doing?

JL - will be keeping my legs in the air and singing along ' swiw up spunk, come on spunky make me a baby' i am not mad - really!!

Mrs- 5 bedrooms, can see why you are bless you, but hey moving to spain seems like a great plan and the fact that it could happen means you are just at the beginning of the plan/journey so best of luck to you and i am sure your 2 bed flat is fab. x

MrsMcJnr · 25/09/2006 16:21

Thanks Natty Hope your DH makes you smile this evening
