lol at your "it might be just the push we need to scare us into BD every day!!!!!!!!!! " coggy. I can see you and Mr Coggy now "we really do have to do it don't we?", "maybe it's better if we close our eyes and do it as quickly as possible", "oh no you read all these things about the dangers of it", "should we take rescue remedy first?"!! It's almost funny that as a hormonal 17/18yr old sex is just that, sex. Then you get older, things get in the way, fertility issues develop and sex is this big scary thing desingned to fool us.

I know what you mean about burying your head in the sand though. I should imagine that a lot of the women on the ttc threads are very adept at sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting "la la la I'm not listening". Have you read bubblez IUI diary? If IUI isn't for you, it is okay to say no or just to admit you aren't ready for it just yet. It is very invasive and stressful for you and your dh. I hope it doesn't have to come to that but remember you don't have to do it just because it's perceived as 'the next step' (don't want to sound like I'm speaking out of turn, but you don't sound "ready" for it just yet- ignore me if I'm wrong!).

How's everybody else this morning? AF is now officially late in the SOH household and I'm still pg. Did a First Response test I had lying around this morning and it was big, fat, pink and immediate. Plus my temp has shot up to a whole other level. And it's Friday, I'm going to a wedding tomorrow, got a nice frock to wear and DH bought me a new bag yesterday. Simple things, eh?

Happy Friday all!
xx

coggy · 08/09/2006 09:42

PSML at your DH!!!!!!
That's really bad!!!

I know it's selfish of me....but I'm SO glad that we will be going through this together at similar times.

I am really nervous and disappointed to get to this stage.
After I had my ds everyone said that I would prob fall pg very quickly (often happens after m/c apparently??!!) so I NEVER thought that I'd have to go back to the fertility clinic.

It's bad enough going back there for scans and jabs but this is something I had written off when I was pg before.

BUT......I do really appreciate the opportunity I have and I know that others would kill to be in my situation.
I wouldn't turn it down.....just worried.

Sorry...hope my ramblings make sense there.

coggy · 08/09/2006 09:45

Oh dear SOH....it did sounds a bit like that didn't it!!!
ROTFL!!!!!

I am so pleased for you and your BFP bless you.
What a lovely DH buying you a new bag too.

I pointed pout the flowers that I bought myself the other day to my DH and he kindof giggled a bit??!!!
Hmmmm.............embarrased, guilty...or just laughing at me??!!!

Angsthase · 08/09/2006 09:50

But I know what you mean about being scared. Hoping and praying that will get PG this month or next so I don't have to go down the IUI route, but will defo give it a go if not PG by Oct.

The first thing I intend to do before my appt is read Bubbles diary to get clued up for my appt.

Have a lovely day at your wedding tomorrow SOH, I know what you mean about little things.

Happy Friday everyone!

coggy · 08/09/2006 09:52

pinkranger · 08/09/2006 10:53

Happy fridy!!!!

coggy · 08/09/2006 10:54

It has turned her into Juicy Lucy!!!!!!!!

ShowOfHands · 08/09/2006 10:54

Not dressed, you slattern!

Angsthase, I'm keeping everything crossed for you. I hope neither you nor coggy have to go down that route.

Anyone got exciting plans for the w/end?

pinkranger · 08/09/2006 10:56

PMSL at juicy Lucy !!

coggy · 08/09/2006 10:57

.................and I am STILL not..............Oooops!

I have had a bath and washed my hair and now I am plucking my eyebrows........does that count as being nearly dressed????!!

pinkranger · 08/09/2006 11:01

I would say at least half way there

Angsthase · 08/09/2006 11:05

If you're still not dressed at 11:00am in the morning you're definately a slattern

Juicy Lucy has spoken

coggy · 08/09/2006 11:07

I know...........and I'm going out to lunch so really won't get very mich done today will I??!!!

coggy · 08/09/2006 11:08

much

Can't type properly...............my dressing gown sleeves are getting in the way!!!!!!!

Angsthase · 08/09/2006 11:09

It's Friday and in my fantasy world Friday counts as the weekend, so enjoy the decadence of doing NO WORK today!!! In fact you don't even need to get dressed, but you may need to consider if lunch involves leaving the house

So - you're a lady who lunches!!

coggy · 08/09/2006 11:10

Should you pluck a 'moustache' or will it make it worse??!!!

Not that I've got one...........I'm asking for a friend!!!!!!

Angsthase · 08/09/2006 11:11

er reconsider

don't even have dressinggown sleeves as an excuse

Angsthase · 08/09/2006 11:13

Don't even pluck my eyebrows, so wrong chick to ask

coggy · 08/09/2006 11:15

How nice..............mine are so dark I can't get away with it.

I.......I mean my friend.......has plucked one side of her moustache to see if it grows back worse then she can compare it to see if it's worth doing the other side too!!!!!!

Angsthase · 08/09/2006 11:24

Not saying I shouldn't pluck them, but can't be arsed!

PMSL at your "friends" half moustache. Bet lunch'll be interesting!!

coggy · 08/09/2006 11:31

Right................am dressed...now need to dry my hair and get some make-up on.

Doing well don't you think??!!!

andi0411 · 08/09/2006 11:40

Coggy- with you on the eyebrows- mine are black. My mum has a 'tash- god love her - and says no no to plucking- makes it grow back thicker- so your...friend may have a lop-sided tash now...

Have lovely lunch- aren't you a teacher..or have i got x'd wires?

Natty1806 · 08/09/2006 11:57

Ah - PMSL at your OH mine would just carried on watching and then i asked if i wanted a 'cuddle'

Coggy - do not pluck your ...sorry your friends tash it will only make it worse, dye it.

I am lucky and blonde so don't have this problems saying that my eye brows do need waxing and i really should get it done soon maybe this weekend.

SOH - you make me what a lovely DH, did you choose your bag or did DH just buy it for you? My DP would never buy me a new bag, say's i have too many bags and shoes.

I am also going to read Bubble on line diary when i get a spare few hours as i am interested. Really hope coggy and AH don't have to go down that route but at least in your mind you know the next step and maybe one step closer to holding that baby we all want.

Anyway off to make lunch for my friend as she is popping over for the afternoon.

OMG i am in such a happy mood today i love it!!!

xxx

Angsthase · 08/09/2006 12:06
