I feel like it would be really nice to have a little list of all our dates of next period if TTC, or due date if pregnant, is that something you guys would like to do? I can't keep track of where everyone is!

mrshjb · 15/05/2014 18:53

Glad everything went well with the scan weebairn It'll be nice to see the baby again in a few weeks :)

I think it's a really good idea to do that. AF due around Saturday for me I think! Can you lot put whether you're intending to find out what you're having on your stats too as well please!

binkybunny · 16/05/2014 07:01

Thanks for your well wishing! Mum and Dad arrived last night so I have ben banished to the sofa and only allowed to do light cleaning and make drinks. I find it a bit frustrating but I'll be grateful tomorrow when we move all the furniture Grin

H sickness and dizzyness were my first symptoms about 3 or 4 dpo so I am really keeping everything crossed!

Wee great to hear everything you could see was all ok. Atleast another scan is another chance to see your baby.

Edd is 10 October hoping to find out in 2 weeks 4 days!

KikiThePea · 16/05/2014 09:31

Morning, everyone!

I'm really well, misskgb, thanks for asking. How are you getting on? Baby is kicking me as I type - which is definitely its favourite activity. I spoke to a doctor friend about it the other day and she was quite impressed with the strength of kicks at this stage, although did warn me that this likely means I'm not going to get much sleep in a couple of months (obviously this will be great prep for when the baby arrives....Wink)

Promising signs for you, H, so fingers now double crossed. Glad you had a lovely time away - it's so wonderful to just escape for a few days.

weebairn - really glad to hear that the scan went well. Also glad to hear that you have a super-wriggler too. We ended up with a hilarious picture of baby's spine because it seemed super keen to show it off to the sonographer, and way less interested in showing all of the other necessary parts. It's lovely that you'll get to see it again so soon!

binky - that's sounds somewhat familiar! Whenever I see my parents they practically chase after me if I so much as pick up anything that could be considered as weighing more than a feather. It does get frustrating, but there are certainly some benefits!

Baby is due 23rd September. We didn't find out at the scan whether it's a boy or a girl. This hasn't stopped speculation though; I'm convinced it's a boy, and so is my mum. DH and sil reckon it's a girl. Everyone else is hedging their bets for now...

misskgb · 16/05/2014 12:41

love hearing all your stories!

Due 4th Nov. Undecided about finding out (scan 26th June). Didn't think I'd want to but think I want to keep buying stuff and want to buy boy/girl appropriate bits so may find out but keep it a secret from friends and family (and hide the things we buy!)

Thanks for the fingers crossed everyone but unfortunately I don't think it worked. Seen the first tiny signs of AFs unwelcome arrival earlier so I think that I'm out for another month. I've coped with it pretty well since the start I think but this is the first time I've shed a few tears. Not sure why because it's a good sign if I've had two normal periods in a row and I didn't for one minute expect to be pregnant. It's just really hard being a bit disappointed every month I think.

Anyways off to eat pizza and ice cream and drink wine.

Sorry for the depressing message, I'll send a less self pitying one tomorrow!

misskgb · 16/05/2014 21:59

Id worry if u wasn't upset-its good u want it so much and will make it even more worth it when it happens! Im more upset you're off out to eat what u want n drink wine! !

Feeling fairly uncomfortable today and discovered beef is now also off the menu (unless its in mince form). Another dinner not eaten. Dh getting worried now about whether I'm getting everything I need for me and rice krispie :-(

Tomorrow is another day fx

OP posts:
mrshjb · 17/05/2014 09:31

Morning, feeling much brighter today! When I think about it rationally, next cycle is only our third with normal periods (fingers crossed) so although it feels like we've been trying for ages, we haven't really with all the hassle of the irregular cycles etc. So that's not too bad really. It had just been a long day yesterday, me and DH got stuck in traffic for 3 hours trying to do a 30 minute journey so think I was just oversensitive in general!

Yeah, misskgb I should definitely take comfort in still being able to eat and drink what I want! Although me and DH have decided to ditch the junk food this month. Not really anything to do with TTC, more so we've just been pigging out a little bit too much recently! But at least that's my choice and not forced upon me! Are you taking pregnancy vitamins? If so I'd presume you'd be getting all the nutrients you need at least?

Hope the move goes well binky!

I'll compile the statistics list and keep adding to it as people reappear:

Kiki- due 23rd September, not finding out sex
Binky- due 10th October, hoping to find out sex
Misskgb- due 4th November, undecided but leaning towards finding out sex

Mrshjb- awaiting proper cd1 and then will be on to cycle 3 TTC

Lolly84 · 17/05/2014 16:39

Hey ladies,
Wow looks like I've missed a lot! Hope u r all ok. Helen came on to see how ur doing, so sorry to hear about the witch making an appearance!! Great news on normal cycle, that's great!

My EDD bearing in mind I haven't had my scan yet is 02.12.14. Scan on Monday and very nervous...eek xx

mrshjb · 17/05/2014 16:57

Thanks Lolly. It's still ridiculously tiny amounts of slight colour so if I was crazy I could be thinking it might be implantation, but after last month I'm sure it'll turn in to AF in the next 3days ish! But yeah it's fantastic to have 2 AFs appear at the same time :)

Ooh not long at all to wait until your scan. What time is it at?

mrshjb · 17/05/2014 16:58

P.s. I'll add you on Monday so we have a more accurate due date :)

weebairn · 17/05/2014 17:15

Aw mrshjb it's pretty normal to find it all hard. AF isn't here properly yet it sounds like so I still have fingers crossed for you!! And as you say if it does turn up that's a good sign you're back to regular cycles now.

My EDD is 30/9/14 (which is my toddler's second birthday!!)

misskgb · 17/05/2014 17:39

I lied, my due date is 8th nov. Ooops!

Oooooh exciting lolly. Be sure to tell us all about it!

Like weeb not uncrossing these fingers just yet h!!

Met up with the wife of one of dhs friends today whilst the boys did boy stuff. She's due end sept. Was great talking all things baby. She's a midwife too so we gossiped for hours (causing me to burn in the sun!)

OP posts:
mrshjb · 17/05/2014 18:43

I'll update/ change you all soon, too hard on my phone! :) sounds like a lovely day misskgb other than the burning obviously!

Thanks weebairn. It's unbelievably tiny amounts of colour after a wee and some times none at all. But sure it'll be AFs slow arrival. if not I'll be a bit concerned because I've just finished my 5th glass of wine of the weekend, which I've justified as if I'm not pregnant I'll drink and be merry wine

mrshjb · 18/05/2014 08:43

Update...

Kiki- due 23rd September, not finding out sex
Weebairn- due 30th September
Binky- due 10th October, hoping to find out sex
Misskgb- due 8th November, undecided but leaning towards finding out sex
Lolly- due 2nd December (but awaiting update on Monday after 12w scan)

misskgb · 18/05/2014 09:34

Good work H

I had a bottle of wine two days before my bfp in London so shouldn't worry! !

OP posts:
mrshjb · 18/05/2014 14:31

Yeah sure plenty of people have done a lot worse whilst pregnant and gone on to have healthy babies!

Spotting still pretty much none existent and had no cramps or anything yet. Probably shouldn't totally rule myself out until AF arrives, which will prob be Wednesday! Need to stop reading stories of women who had spotting and then got their bfp though. Went through all this last month and it was a waste of time!!!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend in the sun!

Lolly84 · 18/05/2014 20:26

Hiya

How lovely is this weather. Have enjoyed wearing loose clothes to cover the pounds I have put on with naughty eating. Last week was the first week I really felt like fruit and veg so made sure I have ate as much as poss!

Helen - good signs so far and sounds like you are being realistic too. Got my fingers crossed!!

My scan is at 2:30 tomorrow... Really feeling weird about it which I am sure everyone feels that way. All the what it's are going through my mind. Before ttc I thought people just got pregnant and felt it and nothing bad really happened. Now I see a completely diff side to it.

Wonder how Chilly is getting on, she is not far behind me.

Keep us updated H xx

Lolly84 · 18/05/2014 20:27

Oops meant what if's not what it's!!

mrshjb · 19/05/2014 07:28

Good luck with your scan today Lolly :)

KikiThePea · 19/05/2014 09:25

Good luck today, Lolly Grin
Enjoy the experience!

Ladymillion · 19/05/2014 13:24

Hi everyone, haven't had a chance to read all the updates but I did read earlier on someone saying about - when TTC'ing and wanting it so bad, that when you do actually get pregnant it makes you so appreciative of such an amazing thing and I really agree with that! For me it's the fact that whilst TTC'ing I did so much research and it opened my eyes to exactly how many intricate processes have to take place to conceive and then for a baby to grow... It just baffled me and it still does. It definitely changes your outlook on the whole thing compared to someone who manages to get pregnant without actively trying. I have a friend who is not inquisitive about her pregnancy at all... She can't understand why I read up about everything. But i love it and it makes me so grateful and excited every day! It's given me a new outlook on life and I feel SO lucky.

PS on Saturday I had a doppler delivered and my partner found the rapid little heartbeat in about 5 seconds! Smile

14+7, DD Nov 11th, hopefully finding out the gender on 30th May!

Good luck on your scan Lolly Wink

mrshjb · 19/05/2014 15:35

Hey Lady nice to hear from you. I would definitely be the same and be reading up on everything at every stage! It is crazy to think that our bodies can be so clever (well fingers crossed mine can anyways) Oooh have you bought your own doppler then?

Kiki- due 23rd September, not finding out sex
Weebairn- due 30th September
Binky- due 10th October, hoping to find out sex
Misskgb- due 8th November, undecided but leaning towards finding out sex
Ladymillion- due 11th November, hoping to find out sex
Lolly- due 2nd December (but awaiting update on Monday after 12w scan)

Ladymillion · 19/05/2014 15:57

Hi H! Yeah I bought one from Argos, it was around £18 which I thought was an absolute bargain! It was so cheap I didn't think it would actually work haha

mrshjb · 19/05/2014 16:02

Yeah that's so so cheap. I'd be very tempted to do the same because it would really reassure me!
