coggy your smoothies sound delish will definately try one or both whenever i attempt a smoothie they are undrinkable

MrsMcJnr · 19/09/2006 11:40

Thank you Coggy and Desperate (and Natty) for your kind and positive vibes. Both DH and I shook the whole time the estate agent was round last night from emotion, he probably thought we were real weirdos!

Must confess to having had a glass of wine last night, needed it I'm afraid. I made chicken cordon bleu for dinner and we had it with lots of veg so feeling better today than I did after my Chinese on Sunday night!

Good start Desperate - keep it up

Natty1806 · 19/09/2006 13:00

You deserve the glass of wine, at least it was not chinese and a bottle of wine to ease the pain

just hope I at least stay the same tomorrow, another week gone when I was meant to be an angel and wasn't . This weekend is the hen weekend that I was meant to have lost a stone for and I have lost 3 pounds

Natty1806 · 19/09/2006 14:20

3 pounds is better than nothing maybe aim for the stone at the wedding, how far away is that?

OP posts:
MrsMcJnr · 19/09/2006 14:23

Natty1806 · 19/09/2006 15:08

Hi everyone -
I wont lie, to you i failed with the walk on monday, i did have a friend come round but not very good excuse but planning on doing it friday !! (hoping that i will) But on the food front i have been VERY good, so pleased with Myself. Hoping that by the time Me and dh go away for weekend ( 2 weeks) i would have lost 4lb!!!!

I plan to get alot of excesie in the weekend as that will be my OV time frame ( hope) !! {grin]
Coggy , havent tried smoothies yet as not managed to get blender but let you know as soon as i do !!

MrsMcJnr · 20/09/2006 10:45

Good on the food front sounds positive Pinkranger, well done! My nightly walks have ground to a halt due to the awful weather at the mo. Go for that goal (me too for mine!) weigh in today, a complete gamble to be honest!!

I think JL2 has run of with the wagon.....................

coggy · 20/09/2006 11:26

Oh dear....things have gone a bit dodgy here on the old diet front!!!

I haven't gone to class this morning as I am working in a while and so last night I had wine, sausages (?!), roast potatoes (in fat!!) and a big mayonnaisey pastary thing for lunch!

I am now dreaming of having cheese on toast for lunch!!!

Can't go to class next week either as I am going away for a few days.........it's such a good excuse to be naughty!!!

Save me!!!!!

MrsMcJnr · 20/09/2006 12:48

It's the weather (or is your's not bad!) it makes you want stodge! One of my friends just popped round for a cup of tea and brought WW cranberry tarts with her so we had a guilt free cake! Sometimes you need a break don't you? are you going somewhere nice?

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 13:13

Coggy - am sure you are allowed to be naughty as you have done so well so far.

Mrs- yeah where is JL?

Went to the gym this morning and had a sausage bap for lunch really need to be very very good for the next day and a half to lose this week.

Good luck tonight mrs.

MrsMcJnr · 20/09/2006 13:17

Thanks Natty - well done for going to the gym, I must get in the habit again of doing some exercise!

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 13:39

Thanks have been going 8 weeks now 4 times a week and think i have only missed 3 sessions and have generally been good on food mon -thurs but still not a twiglet.

Oh well maybe my body is storing fat for my baby when it come along. LOL

Tummy is a bit tighter but could do with being even tighter and losing the jelly stuck to it. Doing waist measurements this fri so fingers crossed i have lost a bit.

Must go and do some work now. x

coggy · 20/09/2006 16:31

I can't believe you've been going for 8 weeks already!!!
That has flown by - VERY impressive of you Natty.

Juicy............where are you??????????????????

Left over sausage for a sandwich for my tea!!!
I LOVE them!

Cheese on toast was goooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 16:46

I know time is flying by, it will be Christmas before we know it, let me count.......13 weeks!!!!!

You really shouldn't come on here and tell us the yummy food you have eaten as it makes me want to be bad.

OP posts:
coggy · 20/09/2006 16:58

Well.......it's going to be another three weeks before I go back to class, so I'm NEVER going to manage to be good am I??!!

desperate2bmum · 20/09/2006 17:22

3 days in and i have cracked i had a mini toffe crisp and a triple bar with a bag of frazzles with my pate sandwich earlier. was doing so well...went 2 days on "healthy" food but back on it again tomorrow

wow natty 8 weeks i would be over the moon if i could manage 8 days you deserve a gold star welldone!

hope everyone else is behaving...

coggy - i dont think it hurts to have a bad day now and again think of it as a little reward for being soooo good

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 18:27

Thanks desperate.

Coggy - you can't be bad for 3 weeks i won't let you, you will undo all your hard work.

I must admit on the days that i go to the gym i give myself a gold sticker in my diet book. Does anyone else use on of these? I write everything even when i am bad at the weekend i just don't bother to work out the calories.

Must remember to be extra good tomorrow only one day to weigh in and i must lose weigh, want to eat choc now but going to bd and watch 'you are what you eat' instead - that programme always makes me feel better about myself

OP posts:
coggy · 20/09/2006 21:28

Oh...have I missed it.
I like that too.
It always inspires me to do something...but then I forget the next day.

I'm enjoying all these smoothies though.

MrsMcJnr · 21/09/2006 09:52

Morning ladies - somehow I managed to lose 1/2 pound last night! (well, not last night exactly...). Am really pleased to have lost something as I had stayed the same for 3 weeks. I know I say it every week but this week, I am going to be extra good.

Natty - II really admire you gym dedication, I really do! I think that writing it down even if it is bad does help because it makes you more cautious on the days that you are more minded to be good and make up for the damage done! I am liking your gold star idea, I love things like that! Must get my fat bum (and fatter tummy) moving!

Coggy - at least you are really enjoying being a little bit naughty, there is nothing worse than scoffing something you shouldn't and not even remembering it never mind enjoying it! As Natty says, be careful not to undo all your good work! How about having some Angel days and some Devil days and then you might balance out any damage done? Love smoothies too!

Anyone tried the blood group diets? My Mum is an A positive and apparently she should not have dairy products (well, cow ones) and she does feel a lot better not having them (but that would maybe work for us all?) my Mum's not overweight (skinny in fact) but she is paranoid about her figure so watches it carefully. She bought herself some of those MBT? Trainers yesterday, you know the ones for posture. I am so they are about £130 and she had bought them to do the gardening!!!

Wishing you all a skinny Thursday!!

coggy · 21/09/2006 10:18

Hurrah for your 1/2 pound loss.......all going in the right direction.

Only 9 days and we'll have to start a new thread.....any title suggestions?

Maybe something to do with a Christmas build up???

I haven't been too bad but I realise that I have NO self control...if I'm not being checked up on then I go naughty!!!
I like the idea of devil and angel days...that appeals to me.
I also love the gold sticker thing.

Natty1806 · 21/09/2006 10:40

Well done for losing Mrs.

Coggy - think a run up to Xmas would be a good thing to do.
