Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that DG, still have everything crossed for you, it's not over yet.
I'll tell you how obsessive this all is, the first thing I thought about when I got up this morning was that you were testing today DG!

DGLLB · 06/02/2014 10:33

Thank you coffee, i feel like I got my hopes up for nothing Sad

Will defiantly hold out on Poas next month until AF is late it's to much disappointment...

Not long for you now coffee one of us has to get a bfp on this thread!

OP posts:
ADifferentKindOfMum · 06/02/2014 13:27

Sorry DG.

We should keep this one going I think...coffee have everything crossed for you. I have picked up a couple of tests today due to my bleeding gums (!) And massive veiny boobs but I suspect it is like my cycle in November (big trick!). Also cm is playing tricks now, lots of cloudy which I had assumed comes AFTER ovulation yet that bleed was only last Thursday. I don't even knoe when we should dtd anymore!

DGLLB · 06/02/2014 16:21

Thank you Adifferent

Have you done another test?

Still no AF here although I'm going out with my SIL tonight so it's bound to turn up then Hmm

OP posts:
ADifferentKindOfMum · 06/02/2014 17:26

yes, at midday. def bfn so will be just carrying on as normal!

Coffeechocolate · 07/02/2014 07:22

How are you all? Still bfns DG and ADifferent?
Just used my last Poundland cheapy and got another bfn, feeling rubbish about it really. I'm now 100% convinced AF is on her wicked way.
Heart breaking business this ttc.

DGLLB · 07/02/2014 07:59

Still waiting for AF coffee wish it would hurry up so I can get it out the way Hmm

Sorry to hear it's a bfn, still not over until AF shows Smile

OP posts:
wiltingfast · 07/02/2014 14:49

But is your af late coffee? Def do it again when af late. You're the last woman standing! Surely one of us should get a bfp?!

Just marking time now until the fertile window.... getting some practice sex in tho, gotta keep dh on his toes Wink

Coffeechocolate · 07/02/2014 15:58

Thanks DG, hope AF gets itself over and done with soon.
Wilting AF is due tomorrow and I have a couple of Clear Blue digital tests I shall be using first thing in the morning! I'm trying to prepare myself for 'not pregnant' though.
Yes, we've got to keep our DHs in tip top condition lol!

DGLLB · 08/02/2014 08:30

I agree wilting Wink

Any news coffee?

I'm now 2 days late, what is going on?? Sad

OP posts:
Coffeechocolate · 08/02/2014 10:10

BFN as I expected this morning. Then about five minutes after peeing on expensive stick AF showed up! I'm glad though that I was using the cheapies the last few days, they kind of prepared me for it.
I'm not sure I like the digital tests. For some reason it seems worse reading the actual words 'not pregnant' than just noting the absence of a line. Or perhaps I'm just in a AF induced grump! Dh was adorable about it, considering I had a job convincing him to ttc for a third anyway. He's a good sort!
Hope you're all well, still no AF hey DG? Still could be hope yet, not nice being in limbo though.
Oh well, on to a rather exhausting new cycle of the SMEP!

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 08/02/2014 10:59

Hello, I am also on 2WW for DC3. Been trying for quite a few months now, so I don't know if its going to happen - am 38. AF due on 14th Feb and right now I don't feel pg. Cycles are regular atm, I know when I am ovulating, we bd as often as we can given that we're old, knackered and have 2 DC - but it ain't happening!

Coffeechocolate · 08/02/2014 17:07

Hi Cake, I agree totally knackering with all the dtding! We were dtd every other day for the first three weeks and every day for four days while I was ovulating but by last week I had really had enough lol! I'm 38 too but dh is only 32 so has more stamina than me!

Thought I would share some of the 'symptoms' I was having in the two week wait that convinced me I was pregnant, even though I clearly wasn't pg, so...
Stomach twinges,
Back pain,
Ankle pain (???) lol
Nausea - yes, actual nausea. Now was this psychosomatic or is my body that cruel?
Headachey yesterday but was obviously AF getting ready to torment,
A pain in my side which convinced me I actually was pg
And the ultimate slap in the mush... I felt pg! Mean or what? Then again I always convince myself I've managed to get upduffed even when we weren't trying. Thinking back to my previous pregnancies I didn't feel pregnant with either so how daft am I?
Sorry for the long post, just thought it would be interesting and perhaps entertaining!
Feel free to add your own unpregnant pregnancy symptoms!

wiltingfast · 10/02/2014 09:28

Ha coffee me too, I spotted:-
feeling faint in the afternoons,
twinges in my belly,
twinges in my back,
exhaustion,
being a bit hungry (!) etc etc

but to be honest, I never really felt pregnant. Not like with first two.

Of course, I convinced myself last Summer that we had accidentally fallen pregnant so what do I know? Grin

DGLLB · 10/02/2014 10:04

I'm still waiting for AF coffee Sad

4 days late now!

Welcome cake sending you lots of baby dust Smile

Il join in with my "symptoms"

Stomach cramps
Twinges
Nausea
Headaches
TMI but lots of white cm Blush
Tender boobs
Tiredness.....

OP posts:
wiltingfast · 10/02/2014 12:55

Never TMI DGLLB, we all know what you're talking about.

4 days late? And the tests are still negative?

Welcome cakes too! Am 39 myself so here's Wine to us oldsters getting some success soon Grin though I suppose I shouldn't be drinking wine.

Met up with my sis recently and would you believe she'd copped we're ttc? She'd saw dh and i talking intently at Christmas and apparently I enquired whether a gig she wanted me to go to in July "would be fully seated" Blush.

She doesn't miss much that one...

DGLLB · 10/02/2014 13:08

Thank you wilting

I haven't tested today but I did yesterday morning with a tesco digital and it was a BFN Sad

Wow your sis doesn't miss a thing Wink

OP posts:
DGLLB · 11/02/2014 18:20

5 days late now

Going to Poas tomorrow...

How's everyone doing?

OP posts:
Coffeechocolate · 11/02/2014 18:35

Still no AF DG? Oooo encouraging!
Good luck with POASing tomorrow then, I shall be awaiting your result - fingers and everything firmly crossed for you.

wiltingfast · 11/02/2014 20:49

Good luck DG! Wishing for good news for you!

DGLLB · 12/02/2014 07:04

6 days late & I got a BFP on a clear blue this morning! Can't actually believe it, I didn't find out this late with my other DC.....

DH is grinning like a Cheshire Cat Grin

OP posts:
Coffeechocolate · 12/02/2014 07:10

Hooray! That's brilliant news DG, so pleased for you!!! Congratulations!
Keep us updated on your pregnancy for the next nine months! Right, now it's a lucky thread!

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 12/02/2014 10:04

Aw, congrats DG, how exciting!

Ah, wilting, good to see another, ahem, older lady. That is weird about your sister - do you not often talk intently to your other half then?! Sisters intuition I guess!

AF is due for me on Fri/Sat and I have the usual sore boobs and no pg symptoms. Sometimes I practically forget that we are ttc once the bding is finished - I guess I am so busy with the other too that I don't have time to dwell on it all that much!

DGLLB · 12/02/2014 12:15

thank you Smile

fingers crossed for you cake

sending lots of baby dust, good luck everyone

OP posts:
wiltingfast · 12/02/2014 13:33

Wonderful news DG! I am delighted for you, hopefully the luck will spread Grin

I guess I mustn't cakes, I had been talking to her about whether we would or wouldn't so I guess it wasn't all intuition on her part, I had said we might... I hear you on the tiredness, I was so withered yesterday i went to bed around 10.
