Ah MabelMay that is upsetting. You're doing great to be getting over your funk already. I wish you lots of great fertile sex for the month of February!

Am clinging on to slim hopes here. Hope someone gets theirs soon Smile

ADifferentKindOfMum · 03/02/2014 17:28

I tested at midday with a very diluted sample (idiot). I am thinking (unless totally imagining it) there is a really faint line there. I'm going to test again with FMU.

Fwiw, officially I am 10 days late for af. But I have a sneaking suspicion the terrible cramps I had 16 days ago was ovulation, and I actually ovulated really late instead of cd 14-16. I had two daysc of light spotting last week but hhaven't had anything like a period pain since the weird cramps. I am baffled by it all and waiting for the morning.

Sorry it was a bfn Wilting, glad you're not taking it to badly. I think the key is to try to prepare ourselves for a bfn so the blow isn't to hard.

DG, AF pains could be bfp pains!

Happy birthday to your ds tomorrow Mabel!

Ooo ADifferent! A really faint line? Exciting!

Well, I did POAS to day (fool) even though I'm not die until Saturday, it was a bfn of course but didn't mind wasting a Poundland hpt. Did it while dh was at work, must admit to giggling slightly at my own silliness!
Having AF pains here today too - boo!

Coffeechocolate · 03/02/2014 18:22

Due not die ( I hope!)

MabelMay · 03/02/2014 22:56

ADifferentKind, I hope that faint line is a good sign. Good luck with the morning pee!

And coffeechocolate - they may not be AF pains! Isn't it infuriating how every early preg symptom is also an AF symptom. I've convinced myself 3 times in last 6 months that I've been PG due to sore boobs, "implantation cramping" (yeah right), and nausea.

I really hope for you guys that these symptoms are the real thing. Watching closely!

MabelMay · 03/02/2014 23:00

Also meant to say thanks for sharing the info on your endo tencupsoftea. I think I should get a laparoscopy too just to see what's going on in there.

TenCupsOfTea · 04/02/2014 02:19

AF arrived here, and cycle is all over the place anyway. Seems to jump between 23-29 days, when it was previously regular? Anyway, need to destress at the moment too. Fingers crossed for you all.

ADifferentKindOfMum · 04/02/2014 08:24

Big old bfn. Still no af so am now on cd 39. What a joke. Sorry to everybody who got a visit from af...not sure what the story is here, am in a permanent state of pms, without any cramps. Massive boobs, feeling queasy and exhausted, just no period. Am absolutely positive I'm not pregnant..been testing since cd 28.

ADifferentKindOfMum · 04/02/2014 08:26

Big old bfn. Still no af so am now on cd 39. What a joke. Sorry to everybody who got a visit from af...not sure what the story is here, am in a permanent state of pms, without any cramps. Massive boobs, feeling queasy and exhausted, just no period. Am absolutely positive I'm not pregnant..been testing since cd 28.

SparklyPandora · 04/02/2014 09:44

I'm not TTC but just wanted to say - I had the oddest experience when pg with DD2; first month - tried and failed. Second month - conceived, BFP quite early then negative tests for a week then eventually BFP again. Scared the life out of me. She was born with a genetic abnormality though so I'm wondering if it was something to do with that.....

wiltingfast · 04/02/2014 10:08

At least you have an af ten cups, and can move on to next cycle. Still no af here, looked at my test from this morning before I went to bed and not a sign of line, completely blank.

CD 39 ADiferrentKindofMom! What a pain. So frustrating. My sister is traying to get pg now for over a year, had a miscarraige last Summer but her cycles are v long. It is so frustrating for her. I think I was half hoping for a negative 'cause it will be hard enough to tell her if she still isn't pg.

Thanks for your input Sparkly, that is a worry too... just want af now, is it worth doing another test tomorrow I wonder? Only have one left! Maybe I should leave it until Friday, would be 5 days late then...

ADifferentKindOfMum · 04/02/2014 10:19

wilting I'm going to spread my testing out more in future, say every 5 days. If I haven't seen af in a week I will test again. Do you think it is possible that my spotting/light bleed when wiping was af? It never got to a pad so I find it hard to believe really....

Coffeechocolate · 04/02/2014 10:28

Hi all, Tencups, sorry AF got you, such a pain. Make sure you pamper yourself a bit.

ADifferent, sorry its a bfn, cd 39 is beyond a joke. Perhaps a GP pt would be more accurate?

Wilting, Think it would be a good idea to hold out testing until Friday if you can manage it. Doubt if I can hold out until Saturday though!

wiltingfast · 04/02/2014 13:27

Ah, af has arrived Sad

Coffeechocolate · 04/02/2014 13:43

Sorry to hear that Wilting, at least you can move on from this cycle and start on the new one. It's always such a bitter disappointment though.
Still bfn for me on another Poundland cheapy but I'm preparing myself for AF now. Of course I won't get pg this quickly.

DGLLB · 04/02/2014 15:44

sorry to hear AF has arrived WILTING and TENCUPS, i dont think il be far behind you due AF in 2 days and no signs of a BFP i no it can still be early but i knew by now with my DCS Sad

SPARKLY how old is your DD? getting a BFP then a BFN then another BFP must of been so scary for you!

COFFEE i keep getting BFN its putting a dampner on my whole day, i must atleast try to hold out until thursday....the-6-tests-in-my-draw-are-so-tempting

Coffeechocolate · 04/02/2014 16:23

I know what you mean DG, these cheap hpt are a complete burden! If they only sold expensive ones then I wouldn't be POASing daily and getting bfns, I would be waiting patiently (yeah right) until Saturday!
Just two sleeps to wait DG!

wiltingfast · 04/02/2014 17:35

I don't know ADifferentKindOf Mum, some of mine have been v v light but never just one wipe as it were! Always at least a day. If it is delayed much longer I think I'd think about ringing my gp. How long are your cycles usually? For me this has turned out as a 30 day cycle instead of 28...

DGLLB · 05/02/2014 08:47

Argh tell me about it Coffee I brought the ic's 10 for £2, if they only did the expensive ones I wouldn't be testing everyday Blush

OP posts:
ADifferentKindOfMum · 05/02/2014 14:31

wilting mine are normally 28-30. During those 2 days all I had was really watery pale pink, or completely clear cm..everything was really jelly like.

Whats really horrible is that I still have big veiny breasts and look very premenstrual still, but now I don't have anything..have no cm at all which is why I wonder if it was a weird period. Normally my body goes back to normal though. Will test again Saturday to check but I doubt its a bfn.

MabelMay · 05/02/2014 19:45

Hello Everyone.
tencups and wilting - sorry that AF reared her ugly head. Although at least that state of limbo is over. Seems like maybe March is going to be the month for all of us. Oh yes.

Although, DG and coffee, still holding out hope for you both... fingers crossed. Hope you can keep away from those sticks for the next couple of days!

Adifferentkind - is it possible you're pregnant and its just not showing up on the test yet? I know people that tested negative for pregnancy well into the first 5 or 6 weeks... Not trying to get your hopes up of course, but I think if AF doesn't arrive in next day or so you should book appt with GP and get them to give you a proper test just to make sure you're definitely not PG. Keep us posted.

ADifferentKindOfMum · 06/02/2014 08:13

DG and coffee feeling excited for you...let us know!

mabel where in cycle are you now? I'm taking that as a weird period so should be due again 18th February...absolute age away. How old are your dc's?

Coffeechocolate · 06/02/2014 09:24

I'm trying to not POAS until Saturday ADifferent! I've managed not to this morning as I only have one Poundland left lol. Though dh is picking me up some Clear Blue digitals today!
Come on DG, have you POAS yet?
Thanks for the crossed fingers Mabel!
Hope you're all well.

DGLLB · 06/02/2014 09:42
