BobaFetaCheese · 30/01/2014 13:06

af arrived late last night, lighter than usual AND I still feel nauseous, think I must be ill! I take Tranexmic Acid for heavy periods so have no idea if it's stopped again or the pills are just been great. Grrh!

DGLLB; metallic taste sounds good! Well you know what I mean Grin

Coffee; I wish I paid more attention to impeding af signs when I wasnt ttc, hangnail should mean pg, least some good would come of them, horrible things

How are yoy feeling Different? Any luck poas this morning?

MabelMay · 30/01/2014 17:15

boba sorry to hear about AF arrival. Hope you're not too disappointed.

Am symptom spotting like crazy too. AF is basically due any minute now (today) but I daren't POAS. Boobs aching like crazy in bed last night, but they've done that quite a lot in cycles since my MMC and it's so far never resulted in a BFP. I'm holding off on the POAS until sunday or monday...

DGLLB metallic taste is good! I've been nauseous the last few mornings and like a fool have already been picturing the pregnancy for the whole 9 months.

How old are all your older DCs?

MabelMay · 30/01/2014 17:18

And coffeechocolate I had just turned 9 when my little brother was born (I was the youngest of 4 before that) and there was absolutely NO jealousy whatsoever. Just pure joy at having a baby in the family. It's such a lovely age for a girl to have a little brother or sister. I doted on my little brother - and my mum tells me I was a real help to her too. Believe it or not, I loved the nappy changing! So I think it's a great gap for you and everything will be fine. Your older kids will love it and your baby (when it comes and it will come) will be doted on.

Coffeechocolate · 30/01/2014 20:24

Oh Boba, sorry AF got you, so upsetting.
Mabel, I hope AF is staying away for you, and thankyou for the reassurance that my dd probably would love it, she's very grown up for her age and I'm sure you're right.
Thanks also for saying the third baby will come, that made me smile, yours will too.

MabelMay · 30/01/2014 22:49

coffee and everyone. Looks like AF has arrived. Sad Had blood when went to loo just now with small clot. Nothing more but am 99% sure it's AF.

Once again I allowed myself to hope. And now I feel like an idiot for all those "symptoms" I thought I had.

Anyone else here had experience of pregnancy with endometriosis? I was diagnosed with endo after DS2, but didn't have it before my second pregnancy...

Good luck to everyone else still waiting for the BFPs.

I'm going to go and hide away for a bit.

wiltingfast · 31/01/2014 00:35

Hi, can I join? Have 2 dc, 4 and almost 3 Smile have finally talked dh into no 3 and am currently in 2ww! Af due 2 Feb.

Hopefully march will be your month instead mabelmay. A november baby!

Coffeechocolate · 31/01/2014 13:07

Mabel, it's just rubbish that AF arrived, don't feel like an idiot for symptom spotting, it's all part of ttc. It does make it worse though, when we get our hopes up. I've only just convinced dh to ttc but was hoping I'd fall accidentally for months.
I just know I'm setting myself up for a big fall by convincing myself that I'm pg. can't test until next Saturday though (if I'm strong enough!) so still have a week left of 2ww.
Welcome Wiltingfast, when will you POAS?

MabelMay · 31/01/2014 17:05

Thanks wilting and coffee - I know I'll be back here in a couple of weeks in my next 2ww - madly believing that I'm pregnant again.

Good luck to you - I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for any BFPs. Fingers crossed for you! x

DGLLB · 31/01/2014 17:27

MABEL sorry to hear AF has appeared, get it out the way and bring on a feb bfp :)

i have ds 2 and dd 4 both will be atleast 3 and 5 when i finally get a BFP!

TenCupsOfTea · 31/01/2014 17:37

Can I join? We have just agreed to start ttc dc3.... Dc2 is nine months old..... I have endo which I can feel coming back even though I'm still breastfeeding....grrrr.... good luck all!

MabelMay · 31/01/2014 20:13

TenCupsOfTea - I also have endo - which only reared its ugly head after DS2 born, so I've not yet conceived on it.

Did you do anything to treat it before you conceived your first two? I'm wondering if I should have a laparoscopy since I've already had two MCs and now failed to conceive for 6 cycles since my MMC.

ADifferentKindOfMum · 01/02/2014 11:07

Is anybody testing today? I did this morning...bfn.

Am now 8 days late. Had really light bleed and spotting for 2 days this week but weirdly no cramps or pain of any kind. Still feel a bit dizzy. It is cd 37. Never had anything like this before. Any point in hoping do you think? Usually have horrible heavy painful af with back pain and sciatica but this month nothing.

Coffeechocolate · 01/02/2014 16:10

Hi DG, holding up fine thanks, still have a week to wait until bfp/AF! Still driving myself nuts trying to forget about it and 'relax' - yeah right!
Hi Tencups, I conceived dd whilst bf ds, fingers crossed you get your bfp soon.
Sorry you got a bfn adifferent, yes of course there's still hope - you're not out until AF shows, fingers and everything crossed for you.

TenCupsOfTea · 01/02/2014 16:48

Hi Mabel, I was diagnosed with endo before children, so lucky I have two dc already. Prior to dc1, I had laparoscopy and laparotomy to remove ovarian cysts, then a course of Prostap. Prior to dc2 had another laparoscopy and laparotomy to remove my right ovary as had gotten stuck to my bowel. Hmmso god only knows what I will have done next, but I can feel the twinges and aches and pains coming back....I would have the laparoscopy so the docs can see exactly what is going on. Only so much they can see in a scan. Good luck!

wiltingfast · 01/02/2014 22:11

OoO, adkom that does sound promising! No af is surely the very best symptom!

Thank you for the welcomes everyone, and no, I haven't poas yet, I thought I'd wait til af was late. But I can feel in my back and thighs the af is coming. But boobs do feel a bit sore... Ho hum. Guess I'm still somewhat hopeful!

DGLLB · 02/02/2014 09:19

i gave in and POAS this morning it was negative even tho im only 10dpo iv convinced myself im not pregnant and must be going mad.....

fingers crossed for everyone xx

Coffeechocolate · 02/02/2014 09:46

Argh DG! I really had to stop myself from POASing this morning! I'm waiting until Saturday morning which is when AF is due.
Keep those fingers crossed, you're still in with a chance!

wiltingfast · 02/02/2014 10:27

Lay in the bed and thought about poas but decided to wait one more day. Af usually pretty regular... Fingers crossed everyone! Good luck!

Coffeechocolate · 02/02/2014 10:46

You might as well leave it one more day then (she says knowing full well I'll be POASing from mid week)!
And to think that when I was trying for ds and dd, all those moons ago, I was blissfully unaware of ovulation dates and the 2ww! I didn't even know there was such a small window each month that you needed to hit in order to conceive!
Ruddy Internet!

wiltingfast · 02/02/2014 21:59

No af yet, will def poas tomorrow!

Yeah lots of shagging did it for me the last time too coffee, ahhh, the simple life it was Wink

Coffeechocolate · 02/02/2014 22:05

Wilting, I'm excited that you're POASing tomorrow! Fingers crossed.
I've been sitting here all evening telling myself how utterly futile it would be to go and POAS on my Poundland hpt tonight.
Looking forward to your update tomorrow.

DGLLB · 03/02/2014 07:40

Thanks coffee 3 days to go for me....

Good luck today wilting! Smile

wiltingfast · 03/02/2014 08:18

BFN I'm afraid. Disappointed but not hugely surprised. Wibu to blame tesco? Grin

Still no af though. Maybe it will come today.

If not will prob poas again soon.

Just 2 more days for you dgllb!

DGLLB · 03/02/2014 08:34

Sorry to hear it's a BFN wilting, still not over until AF appears my fingers are crossed for you, I'm not feeling to hopefully got AF pains this morning Hmm

OP posts:
MabelMay · 03/02/2014 17:18

wilting - sorry about BFN - although I really believe in not getting hopes down until AF appears. I'm now just emerging from the funk that I got in since AF made its appearance on Thursday. I just can't believe my DS2 is going to be 6 tomorrow - and I started trying for number 3 when he was 4 - I never thought we'd still be here with no baby that much further down the line... Sad fingers crossed for rest of you still waiting. One of us surely is due a BFP!
