Hey, on the 2ww and looking for some support! Just changed onto a 40 day cycle so this has been a long time coming, not that hopeful though as even though we used OPKs we only DTD a couple of times during high fertile time because hubby feels the pressure and can't always perform lol still be nice to have some support. I would call this cycle 2 of officially trying so still early days.

Hi bump, sounds like progress! I had bloods done several times due to mix ups at drs and them not believing me that I don't ovulate on day 14! I was referred so quickly due to my age & time ttc. I started to get more regular when I started homeopathic stuff which really seemed to help. It's generally the time to ov that varies, I generally get AF 11-13 days after ov. Maybe this is your lucky month....!

Bumpforme2014 · 27/01/2014 14:42

Hmmm it's so odd because I believed stupidly that everyone on 28 day cycle ovulated on CD14 and so DTD around those days only in previous cycles. It's only once I had the 40 day cycle I realised I must not have ovulated when I thought I did. Looking back I had so many ovulation symptoms last month but thought I was pregnant at the time... This month I have learnt so much about my body but so annoyed I didn't track ovulation last month as I would know then how long my luteal phase was and so when AF was due this month.... Sigh! Wait continues, I would be on top of the world if I was pregnant this month but strangely willing AF as well as I know it should come tomorrow! Who knows hey. When you say homeopathic, what do you use? I was going to start on Agnes something or other because I read it can make your cycles shorter but will wait for blood test results first.

Sadly af has arrived for me today, 3 days early so not quite sure what is happening with cycle.

It has to be said i have never had such soore boobs as i have right now without being preg so was sad.

Have now been ttc for over 12 months with a mmc and an ectopic as our only indicators so will take myself off to doctors on weds and see what is happening.

Bumpforme2014 · 27/01/2014 17:16

Sorry mrsexcited! How many DPO are you? Was it long enough for implantation?

OP posts:
Gingerbreadlady1 · 27/01/2014 17:28

That's rubbish mrse, hopefully the drs can give some answers?

bump I took a long list of potions but Agnes castus was key for me. Started it, got period week later (was long over due). Stopped it later on, no periods. Started it again, af returned. May have been coincidence sure enough. Good idea to wait till after bloods so you have a clean slate so to speak.

SweetPeaPods · 28/01/2014 21:50

Sorry to hear that mrse.

Well, I caved in and tested even though af due sat or sunday and I swear its a faint line.
Going to test again in a couple of days. Not sure whether to mention anything to DH or not. We had 3mcs before ds so I know he'll just worry like mad. And obviously anything could happen in next couple of days, af could come yet.
Do I tell or keep quiet?

Bumpforme2014 · 28/01/2014 22:02

Ooohhhh sweetpea sounds promising! I would wait to tell him, no point both of you worrying, at least if you tell him when you are sure your pregnant he won't get his hopes up and dashed.

OP posts:
Gingerbreadlady1 · 28/01/2014 22:54

Oh my oh my sweetpea, that DOES sound promising! I think bump is giving good advice but don't think I could keep it to myself.... So that really doesn't help you at all!

SweetPeaPods · 28/01/2014 23:01

I'm desperate to tell him but really not sure how. He'll also be annoyed I tested without him.
We're going to a spa tomorrow, should I tell them? I'm thinking most people wouldn't know at this time and it might still not happen.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 28/01/2014 23:11

Oh bugger, difficult one. When I had my chemical preg in Nov, my other half took it much worse than I expected. I think maybe wait a couple of days, test together, you're still not 100% sure so will be over the moon if positive.

SweetPeaPods · 29/01/2014 07:32

BFN this morning so going to keep quiet, either wait for af or test sat am.

Bumpforme2014 · 29/01/2014 17:44

Okay errrrrm guys can you help me I'm so scared! I don't know why but felt urge to test just not and got a faint line on cheapie so did superdrug own brand and line on that too! I cannot believe this I have no symptoms apart from such sore boobs and temp is up...... I read on packet you can get false positive if you have ovarian cyst, what if it's just a cyst? I don't know when AF due but I'm 14dpo so much be due by Friday. I'm so scared can this really be it? This is all I have ever wanted this cannot be happening I'm so scared about losing it if I am, hormones been all over the place had blood tests done yesterday to test them all.....do I need to go back to doctors now???? Help pleaseeeee

Bumpforme2014 · 29/01/2014 21:30

Eeeeeeekkkk thank you I have calmed down now but still so surreal !!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 29/01/2014 21:49

2 positive tests bump, 14 days after ov....you're up duffed! Deep, deep breaths, pour yourself some wine. Just kidding!!! Delighted for you hon. It's natural to worry, plus it's all new & very exciting! What did your other half say? Details please!!!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 29/01/2014 21:50

This seems to be a lucky thread!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 29/01/2014 21:54

sweetpea how's things with you? You okay? X

Bumpforme2014 · 29/01/2014 22:13

Thanks gingerbread! DH was over the moon but like me, more nervous than anything that it sticks, going to ring docs next week about my bloods and explain the current situation! How are you doing??

OP posts:
Gingerbreadlady1 · 29/01/2014 22:19

I'm sure everything will be fine. Relish the moment! I'm good, 7dpo but going to a wedding fri, know its sooo unlikely, but may poas. Just in case....thoughts?

SweetPeaPods · 29/01/2014 22:22

Congrats bump!
I'm getting a faint line on a first response, but nothing on boots own so little confused. Now had 3 faint lines on 3 fr tests.
Going to test again in a couple of days. Need to buy more tests but might do one with DH on sat.

Bumpforme2014 · 29/01/2014 22:31

Gingerbread that's annoying having a wedding fri, I would say 9dpo way too early unless your having major symptoms even if you get a BFN it may be false? Sweetpea you must be preggars, how many dpo are you ? I got very faint on cheapies but superdrug one was much darker even though they both same sensitivity!

OP posts:
Gingerbreadlady1 · 29/01/2014 22:39

A line is a line sweetpea, I agree with bump. One test must be more sensitive than the other, if there's a line you're preggers. Have you mentioned anything to other half yet?

Bump, you're right, plus this is month 15 so I'm not holding my breath...

SweetPeaPods · 29/01/2014 22:46

Af due sat or sun so not sure how many days that makes me?
After 3 previous mcs I'm not going to get too excited yet. Not mentioned to DH but birthday on sat so going to get him a test

Bumpforme2014 · 29/01/2014 22:47

Well your part of the lucky thread so spreading the baby dust to you, only a matter of time.

OP posts:
SweetPeaPods · 29/01/2014 22:48

Gingerbread with regards to the wedding just relax and enjoy yourself. remind yourself that many don't know they are pregnant for months and carry on as normal so as long as you don't drink to excess I'm sure all will be fine.
