Hey, on the 2ww and looking for some support! Just changed onto a 40 day cycle so this has been a long time coming, not that hopeful though as even though we used OPKs we only DTD a couple of times during high fertile time because hubby feels the pressure and can't always perform lol still be nice to have some support. I would call this cycle 2 of officially trying so still early days.

Pickles just seen you on another thread too but here's a Flowers for you, really sorry. Roll on next month!

weebairn thank you, yes it was all pretty traumatic but there are plenty of people worse off than me and at least me and dd both made it. Sorry you had a rubbish time too, it's not always plain sailing this labour lark is it? I really don't know about next time (assuming there is one!) but I've discussed with the consultant and midwife from last time and we will see - everything is telling me elcs as I could not face that experience again without having some serious mh issues I don't think! But also recovery with a toddler would be super hard, no family locally etc. but hey at the moment I'd just like to get a BFP so I do have to think about all that again!

claudeekishi · 22/01/2014 13:10

Sorry to hear it pickles. Best of luck for next time.

Bumpforme2014 · 22/01/2014 18:42

Hey pickles, you sure your out? How many dpo are you now? Less then 12 and it could still be implantation bleed, don't want to get your hopes up but it seems too soon for you to get your period are you always regular?

I am feeling blue today, so very tired and fed up of this extreme dry skin I been having since dec :-(. Ever so slight cramping so worried my period may arrive early as well.

OP posts:
Pickles79 · 22/01/2014 18:50

I think it 11dpo. It's too heavy for implantation bleed I think.

Oh you poor thing! Know how you feel, I've had dry skin all around my nostril(tmi) for months and it's driving me insane.

Bumpforme2014 · 22/01/2014 19:52

Oh my god pickles it's the same area for me too?! Previous month was my eyelids and cheek this month it is around my nostrils and either end of my upper lip (if that makes sense). No moisturisers are working and I'm so annoyed with it I'm going to doctors about it as worried its a hormonal problem along with my 40 day cycle issue!

OP posts:
Pickles79 · 22/01/2014 20:16

How strange!?! I was going to see the doctor about it next week. The 99p Nivea cream in a blue pot is the only thing that helps but that's only if I put it on repeatedly thought the evening. Once my make up is on it starts drying out again.

Bumpforme2014 · 22/01/2014 20:44

I have been trying e45 with no real affect! It's not itchy at all just feels so tight dry and flakey throughout the day which is embarrassing when in meetings and I feel like my face is peeling off. I've tried googling and found some stuff around progesterone causing dry skin in some people which would make sense as mine cleared up when I got my period so your should be getting better now you have AF?

I will let you know what my doc says but last time I went and showed it to her it was a full blown rash and she said it was allergic reaction but now I know it's not because it did get worse week before ovulation, I'm convinced its hormone related.

OP posts:
Pickles79 · 22/01/2014 20:55

I tried e45 but Nivea is much richer and seems to work better for me.
Yes you could be right that it's hormonal, hadnt occurred to me until you said. I'm the same, having a flaky face while at work is rather embarrassing!

Bumpforme2014 · 22/01/2014 21:04

Okay I will try that then as I have some at home but assumed if e45 didn't work nothing would lol nice to know it's not just me, coming off the pill has made my body go insane, I've put on weight, exhausted all the time, depressed, moody, I'm really worried my body isn't coping with making its own hormones (sigh)! Will order bloods at doctors next week.

OP posts:
Pickles79 · 22/01/2014 21:18

Nivea is my go to cream when nothing else works haha.
I'm so stupid sometimes, it just didn't cross my mind that it could be linked to stopping the pill but it did start shortly after I came off the pill.
Yes, good idea. Keep me posted with what your Dr says!

Cakebaker35 · 23/01/2014 19:08

For the dry skin ladies - highly recommend oilatum cream, lather it on when you go to bed. Might not make you look too hot for those DTD nights tho! Grin

Bumpforme2014 · 23/01/2014 19:24

Haha thanks cakebaker will try that! How's everyone feeling today?

Still impatient bumpforme! Am only 8dpo (I think) - anyone past AF due date yet?

weebairn · 24/01/2014 09:16

I'm 6 days late now. I'm absolutely convinced I'm pregnant, nauseous and shattered and no premenstrual symptoms at all. Going to test tomorrow morning...

Cakebaker35 · 24/01/2014 09:54

Exciting weebairn! I'm poas tomorrow too but it is only cd 29 for me and as my cycles are irregular I'm not really sure when to test. Sounds very promising for you though, fingers crossed!

weebairn · 24/01/2014 10:31

Thanks, will have my fingers crossed for you too! Exciting times.

buddhabee · 24/01/2014 10:50

Cakebaker35 · 24/01/2014 12:18

Very sorry to hear that budd, go and have some Cake and wishing you loads of luck next month x

weebairn · 24/01/2014 15:36

Bumpforme2014 · 24/01/2014 18:12

Yay weebairn congratulations!! Our first BFP, how long have you been trying? I can test from tomorrow but not sure if I will bother, I know I'm not preggars and would rather just wait for AF then see a BFN.

weebairn · 24/01/2014 18:18

Thankyou :)

I had my coil out in December, so first month - I feel very lucky. Took 5 months with my first baby!
