Is there a January bus yet?!!

Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 Sad BFP due 8th Jan.

Right, I thought I was definitely on the Jan bus with my very long cycles of 34 to 36 days and Ov not due until 28 Dec... Then, this morning my cbfm gave me 3 bars with 2 high days yesterday and the day before. I am on CD 12 today... I did another superdrug ov test later in the day and this was positive too, meaning I should be ov over the next 36 hrs or so. I am confused. If anyone has any advice, pls let me know! can I trust those results? Unfortunately, I'm not tempting... Dh loved the early morning attention though...

upnorth are you recently off the pill or anything like that? How long have your cycles been 34-36 days?

When do you normally OV in your cycle?

Have been off pill for more than two years. No other hormonal contraception. 34 to 36 days have been normal since my teenage days unless on pill of course. I am 31 but never worked out ovulation until last month when actively starting ttc #1. the superdrug ones gave me a positive on day 23 which is normal for 36 days I think. Af arrived promptly on day 37. Hope there's nothing wrong...

Me and DH have decided to be relaxed about the whole thing. We were in October and that led to my BFP. It's difficult to be regimented about it as he works shifts. So we're just going to see how it goes this month.

upnorth, it does sound a bit odd that it's earlier than usual but this ttc stuff is a funny business! I think ovulation can change in your cycle so I imagine it is just your body having a slightly shorter cycle for some reason.

hey ladies, is there a certain amount of days before ovulation that you should notice a change in cervical mucus?

Thanks barmy, i'll just go with the machine and maybe start temping next cycle. I am a bit fed up already with poas for the cbfm... i just thought it would be an easy method to get to grips with my cycle esp as it is quite long..

Mum2kiss, i don't think there is a set amount of days before ov, cm changes throughout the whole cycle with ewcm just before and maybe on the day of ov. I bet there are people on here who are cm experts and can give you more specific advice.

Hi all, just got booted off the December bus. Will be cycle 5 in January so thinking about going to the docs to have bloods done, have been temping for three months and had a lovely textbook chart the first month then not so good the second, and last month was all over the place, not sure if I ovulated or not. Thought they would get better not worse!!

Morning everyone! So sorry I haven’t updated everyones stats like I said I would! Got carried away with wrapping prezzies and haven’t been able to get on since! Doctor Sorry to hear about your MC, taking a relaxed approach is deffo the best option. We are this month too, it’s very hard not to think about it though! Hope your DH/DP is looking after you :)

Anyone feel free to update this, it does take a while, hope I haven’t got any wrong or missed anyone! We are certainly getting busy!!!

Hi ladies, not read back but an I join you please?
I may be a bit quiet on this bus though. I've just had 2 chemical pregnancies in a row and feeling a bit crap tbh. I've had blood results today saying that my hcg is low and more than likely the pregnancy has ended. If I still feel I am pregnant I can have another test next Monday for results Tuesday (wouldn't that be a fab christmas present!!)
Anyway, if I'm not, I WILL BE PREGNANT IN JANUARY AND IT WILL STICK! There, got that off my chest!!

So, my stats are

Sorry to hear of the miscarriages, so sad :( Hoping for bfps soon for you.
We're going to keep it relaxed this time - dh has vetoed eod dtd though, wants to stick with every day Xmas Smile oh well, sounds good

upnorth I know what you mean about the cbfm. a friend gave me hers so I thought it was worth a go but I've decided to ditch it for this cycle. I should prob give it more time but it is a pain! Debating temping or just going with the flow now. I hope you get on ok with this cycle and have no need for temping because you have your bfp!

Barmy, I really hope I get the bfp this month - and everyone else on here, too, of course. Will use cheapo ov test later in case I just had a strange oh surge yesterday but no ovulation. It seems this can happen.Will keep you updated.

I'm debating carrying on with the OPKs, I started this month but actually as my cycle was only 24 days I didn't start earlier enough - app says ov would have been cd 11, but I had no ewcm that time only creamy type, so I'm dead confused what to do

Hi all, can I join please? I had an mmc in October, had a very very light period (I think) a few days ago and hoping for a bfp to start the new year! Last time I fell really easily but I expect now we really really want it will take longer! Anyway, ttc no1, cycle 1 (I suppose), bfp due jan 8th - but only if my cycle has gone back to normal...
