Is there a January bus yet?!!

Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 BFP due 8th Jan.

I have an image of tents suddenly springing up in back gardens over Christmas. I suspect that our fertile time will be closer to Hogmanay, which fits nicely with our plans for a quiet night in this year.

Lime, it is so frustrating. It doesn't help that the entire world is falling pregnant either. I understand what you say about it feeling like a competition. Whilst I'm happy for our friends, I really wish it could be us. I'm fed up of being self-conscious of not drinking, even though I am usually driving so don't. Hope you get your BFP soon.

We haven't used OPKs or done temping, DTD roughly EOD worked for us last time so I'm hoping it will for #2 as well. That sounds confusing Kt, could it be one of those aches and pains that you only notice when TTC?

I'm having a bit of a rubbish day too ladies. Clearly I've put too much pressure on Mr Bump. DTD had become a bit "special occasion" due to toddler always in our bed. We got out of the habit of it happening regularly and so I think he feels he has to perform. We haven't managed to DTD since Thursday (not a problem as I dont think I'm in the "window") but he just couldn't finish the job yesterday

Need to get my sexy on tonight!!

I have just realised I am to add info (sorry it is all new) so 1st go (so no expectation) will be just after chrimble and any bfp 10th Jan.

Hope you feeling better Lime it's a roller coaster of emotions each month I know but we'll keep you company on the big red bus (just assuming red & double decker for some reason! ) I Spent my younger years making sure I Didnt get pregnant then when I wanted to it's more complex than planning a round the world trip!
But I'm smiling at Sky's post- didn't even consider whether we'd have privacy at Christmas! WILL find a way!!!

In the middle of AF hell at the moment, but trying to be optimistic because my fertile days will be over Christmas, so I'm hoping for some of Santa's magic!

Hello everybody! It's been ages since I have been on a bus - can I join? It's 1st month, no 1 and guessing BFP as 1st Jan - hard to know how regular I should be after 11 years on the pill!!

we missed every opportunity to dtd this past weekend and now dp is away until Saturday...my phone app says ovulation is Saturday so fingers crossed!!!

Hey everyone, some of you may remember me from previous busses (englishteacher was my name then). I had a MMC diagnosed last Thursday and the op on Friday and me and DH are planning on trying again straight away. I suppose that makes me a lurker this time. No idea, therefore, when AF is due but going to test on 20th January if it hasn't shown up by then. So this info is all very approximate.
TTC 1 - cycle 1 post MC - AF due 20th Jan.

Ttc#1 will be starting offical cycle #2 (November I'm not counting as cycle 1 as we only dtd 2 or 3 times unprotected as we got carried away) after AFs visit this month.

Hi all, just got booted off December bus. I'm TTC #1, cycle 2, BFP due January 13th.

I know that my family will be saying over Xmas 'you're not going to bed this early, it's the holidays' and I will have to refrain from saying 'well actually, your only child, my husband is actually attempting to impregnate me to give you your first grandchild so let us go!!!' It's going to be an interesting one.

Loving the pitch a tent idea Hopemummi although DH might take some persuading if it involves early nights over Christmas, his middle name should be Santa-he loves this time of year.

For those of you that are ttc and need to dtd over Christmas, will you be drinking?

I don't think I shall stay teetotal over Christmas, glass of Prosecco Christmas day kind of thing, but I won't get drunk. DH certainly can't otherwise, no DTD

Jumping on please...TTC#1, cycle 1 (I wrote of last month as a "finding out about my body" month). BFP due NYE or Jan 1st...so I'm straddling between Dec and Jan bus really.

AF seems to have started properly for me today, so I am presuming (hoping really!) that I now have a better idea when bfp may be due. So updated stats for me:

Whilst I'm thinking about these things, what is everyone doing in Jan re temping/OPK etc? What you normally do/more relaxed etc?

I was an absolute nightmare for my last cycle as I have been trying to get the cbfm used to what my cycle is, but it is completely messed up after a very delayed AF due to bfp a few weeks ago which didn't stick sadly. So I think I'm abandoning that. But it just drove me mad last month as although it gave me an idea what was happening, it wasn't overly certain. So I'm debating whether to go back to temping for Jan or just ignore it all and relax a bit more about the whole thing. Easier said that done though!
