Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 Sad BFP due 8th Jan.

OP posts:
ImaginaryHat · 18/12/2013 21:57

Yey the bus is filling up nicely now, hope everyone is feeling wonderfully festive and ready for the big day!

Choccy, im very sorry to see you here i was hoping you'd have some good news. Finally found out whats going on with me after blood tests every 48 hours for the last week, and i'm in exactly the same situation as you, two consecutive chemical pregnancies. Blood levels finally dropping, hgc down in the 50s now so hoping that by the time afs been and gone over Christmas well be able to try again. We will get our sticky beans in January im sure of it! Hope you are doing ok I know its totally crap to go through.

ImaginaryHat · 18/12/2013 21:58

Lacey sorry to hear about your mmc too, hope you get your bfp this month.

barmybunting · 18/12/2013 22:08

Lacey, choccy and imaginary, I'm sorry to see all of you on the Jan bus but I hope this is your month for sticky bfps! Thinking of you all.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 19/12/2013 07:01

Morning ladies,
I'm hopping over from dec bus (was 'laravh' - but decided this new NN was a bit more inconspicuous!) Really felt like it had worked this time but no the ugly bitch that is AF has reared her head.
Slightly concerned that ff have me a ov date of only 10days ago, although according to OPKs it would have been 12 days ago. Is 10 days a short lp? And I suppose I am just spotting at the mo..
Feeling thoroughly fed up right now. So many people I know are pregnant and seemed to have got pregnant very quick.. I know technically I still have a while before I need to worry but you do don't you.

So my stats:
EnglishGirlAbroad - TTC #1 cycle 4 BFP due 23 Jan

ImaginaryHat · 19/12/2013 07:27

Thanks barmy, how are you doing?

Hi English, sorry af got you. I think 10 days is on the short side but not anything to get overly worried about, especially if opks indicate 12 days.

Was speaking to the nurse at the hospital yesterday about everyone I real life seeming to fall pg at the drop of a hat, and she said it can seem that way but its definitely more common not to, and to have to try for a while, so try not to worry x

Choccywoccydodah · 19/12/2013 08:12

Thanks imaginary. So sorry you are going through this too, yes it is totally and utterly crap.
The worst thing is I still FEEL pregnant. I have every symptom you could think of and this morning I've got diarrhoea too (sorry tmi) so I'm totally confused :(

English, my LPs were short for my first 2 cycles, (7/8 days started spotting). I started taking vitamin b6 50mg up to ov then 100mg from ov to bfp/af and I've caught the last 2 months I've used it. Maybe worth a try?

Choccywoccydodah · 19/12/2013 08:14

Thanks Lacey and Barmy hope it's your month too. New year new baby.......

EnglishGirlAbroad · 19/12/2013 09:40

Thanks imaginary and Choccy. I might try the b6.
Choccy &barmy, I'm sorry you're both goin through a crap time TTC. I can't imagine how hard it must be seeing that BFP and then it not sticking. Wishing you both more luck in the new year. Smile

CosyTeaBags · 19/12/2013 10:09

Brew Morning everyone.

Sorry to hear some bad news here, it must be hard to have your hopes raised then dashed like that.

I woke up feeling really negative about TTC this month. AF is just coming to an end, so I'm about to enter the wonderful 2 weeks of hopeful BDing, but I just feel like I'm losing hope.

Fingers crossed for everyone else though!

Mammy2Be · 19/12/2013 11:51

Can I hop on board?
TTC#2 since October. Just had BFN this morning :-( it's my 3rd test this week so pretty sure it's a definite BFN.
Have PCOS and just finished BFing DD in October so cycles all over the place. No AF since stopping BFing. But positive ovulation tests at beginning of this month so that's something I guess.
Will be ringing in the new year by doing it like rabbits first week in jan with the hope of a BFP 3rd-4th week jan.
Good luck ladies and merry Christmas to all xxx

Monstersaurus · 19/12/2013 12:55

Thanks for updating the stats Kt. My bfp is due on or about January 15.

Sorry to hear about the chemical pregnancies and MC. Hope you all have sticky BFPs this month.

Today I'm feeling quite sad about not being pg. I had myself convinced a BFP was heading my way last month. This afternoon I'm making mulled wine sorbet for Christmas lunch, so hopefully some happy music and festive aromas will cheer me up. English, it does feel like everyone in the world is falling pregnant at the drop of a hat.

Blithereens · 19/12/2013 13:22

I'm thinking of everyone here who has had bad news or is feeling generally blue about this TTC business Thanks Here's hoping some festive cheer and a brand new year will bring happier news to everyone Smile

My cycles were messed up by the coil, so after having it removed I'm hoping they will become a bit more regular so it's easier to predict ovulation. Got two lines on an OPK this morning, but the test line was faint. We're starting seven solid days of DPs and PILs on Saturday and I have a horrible feeling we ought to be dtd at the same time Xmas Shock Deeply unlikely!

Monstersaurus · 19/12/2013 13:26

Blithereens, sounds like you'll be needing to join the 'tent in the back garden' club. Xmas Wink

JennyOfOldstones · 19/12/2013 13:28

I agree about the cold dtd-ing, I was thinking the other day it would be so much easier to entice DP if he could 'accidently' catch me walking round naked but in this weather he would definitely smell a rat!!

LaceyLee · 19/12/2013 13:46

Haha blithereens we are in the same boat with both in-laws, but it's my fertile period so we will just have to DTD as quietly as possible!! Hope we don't get too put off!

Blithereens · 19/12/2013 14:17

Lacey and Monster DH says it's apparently much quieter if you do it on the floor! Xmas Hmm He just fancies a change of scenery I think Xmas Grin

PunkyPod · 19/12/2013 15:18

Eek got a positive opk today (cd17). Not a great deal of CM but some. Usually there's a lot more. Got our neighbourhood coming round for a catch up, she's going to come and see DD before she goes to bed. Then the neighbour needs to go home to do something so we've said come back at 8 for wine and food. Going to have an hour window to get Dd to bed and asleep and DTD quick time! And then get the food on. Haha!! DP is aware of the plan and is up for it!!!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 19/12/2013 15:19

ahh monster its so easy to convince yourself that you are pg isn't it, but then the disappointment is even worse. Everyone keeps telling me to relax and it'll happen, but its so hard to relax when its something you want so much.
We'll have guest over new year when my next fertile period is expected so lots of quiet dtd and hoping we wont get caught! I'm not bypassing it so we'll have to just get on with it Xmas Grin

barmybunting · 19/12/2013 18:27

Imaginary I know what you mean about it seeming like everyone else falls pregnant at the drop of a hat. I think it probably seems that way when you look and there is either babies or bumps everywhere but I am trying to remember as you say that it does take most people a bit of time and it's just part of the process. It will happen in good time. It's a crappy feeling though! I'm ok thanks, feeling better than I thought I would be, it's not nice any time but I think probably Christmas is at least busy enough to take your mind off these things a bit more than usual. I have a lot of hopes pinned for a New Year's BFP though Smile.

Choccy, interesting that you found B6 helpful. Have you spoken to a Dr about your LP? I started to take B6/B Complex last cycle prior to bfp as my lp seems to only be about 9 days. I'm not sure whether it's worth continuing or not as I think I probably need to give my cycles a bit more time to settle down. I hope it works for you for a sticky bfp in Jan!

barmybunting · 19/12/2013 18:28

Punky I love the timetable Smile. DTD has to be sneaked in at these times!

Choccywoccydodah · 19/12/2013 18:34

Barmy I spoke to the dr on Tuesday when I went in for my suspected chemical about the b6, she didn't say anything just there wasn't any testing for progesterone, which I find hard to believe.

Choccywoccydodah · 19/12/2013 18:35

Still think I'm pregnant anyway........Wink

EnglishGirlAbroad · 19/12/2013 19:15

choccy I'd maybe ask for a second opinion.. there are various tests (according) to google that can be done to determine if theres a prob with lp.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 19/12/2013 21:44

Looking forward to getting back to dts in a couple of days! Except DH has now acquired a cold! Confused

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 19/12/2013 21:47

Hi everyone, can I join? TTC number 1, cycle 2. Was disappointed but not surprised to miss the target in the first month and having lots of premature thoughts and worries about infertility. I have always worried about it to be honest, not sure why as I am not generally a worrier but it has played on my mind over the years. Did far too much symptom spotting and convinced myself I was pg last month so I need keeping in check. Currently learning my cycle and looks like its 32-33 days so bfp due 18th Jan. I WILL NOT TEST EARLY!!!Wink

Sorry to hear of mcs and other issues. Here's to plenty of BFPs in Jan
