okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

hi andi,
im sorry to hear of your loss. regarding the m/c did the hospital give you any advice? i m/c on 14th june i got told thaT 2 WEEKS from that date to do a pregnancy test and make sure it came up negative and thankfully it did. if i was youi would go back to your doctor and get sent for a scan to double check.
the bleeding you had could have been left behinds from your m/c and if you are still showing pg could still be more left and need further treatment.
hopefully this wont be the case the bleeding may have been implantation and you will be pg again and it will all go well for you. keep us informed.
sorry if that hasnt helped but just my advice x

andi0411 · 21/07/2006 17:46

Thanks to both of you for responding- am at my wits end really. I have started a new thread on the m/c section to see if any ladies there could advise then came back here and found your kind responses. When I had my m/c I had it induced by medication and had it naturally- very painful and I bled heavily and continuously for 10 days. They never said to do a pg test 2 weeks later...and never asked me to check back or called me to see if it was ok. I'm going to call the epu tomorrow morn and get some help.
Thanks and sorry for just talking about me....how is everybody else on here?

desperate2bmum · 21/07/2006 17:55

oh andi thats terrible. i wasnt happy with my treatment either and about the only good thing they did was tell me about the pregnancy test.
definately call them and demand a scan or a blood test or somthing to find out where you stand. when i had my m/c i got an infection and the epu clinic told me it was TOO EARLY for infection..even though baby died at 8 weeks and i m/c at 12. i ended up with my gp who put me on antibiotics and sorted me out. i amnow going to have to fight my corner to go to another hospital as the one near meis the pitts.
if you are pregnant again..how would you feel?

bubblez · 21/07/2006 18:00

Be sure to let us know how it goes as soon as pos.

I'm unusualy bloated today, I mean I know that I'm a little over weight but it's not the same thing. My stomach is extended, really hard and quite uncomfortable (I wonder if it's an intolerance of somesort) has been like this since morning. Other than that I'm fine thanks.

Hope that everything goes well for you andi.

andi0411 · 21/07/2006 18:32

Thanks again to both of you. I would be truely delighted to be pg again- I didn't use anything to prevent it after my doctor said the only problem with conceiving early was that they may have probs dating the birth. However I don't feel pg..sore boobs etc..but i do feel a tad sick. Prob my imsagination...anyway thanks again .So much.

coggy · 21/07/2006 19:19

andi...sorry to hear you've had a miserable time. That sounds shocking that they don't follow up in anyway - how horrible for you.

SOL...I was getting a little excited for you. Hope you weren't too sad with your bfn.

Welcome to new ladies too.

pendulum · 21/07/2006 19:44

andi... unfortunately I can't add anything but my sympathy because I have not shared your awful experience... good luck in the coming weeks & months, stick around on this thread...

SOL, bummer about your BFN. Can I ask if you have recently come off the pill and if so how long? I ask because my cycle is also up the spout as you know... stopped pill 3 months ago, since then had withdrawal bleed followed by 2 long cycles (37 and 34 days and v light bleed), now have v heavy and early bleed. Have also been worried about lack of EWCM since off pill. Am beginning to wonder if this is my first real AF since quitting the pill- will be watching carefully this month to see if cervical signs change.

BTW can I just say.. I have been on MN for around a month now and am finding it so amazingly liberating- I can't even discuss this stuff with my best friends and you lot are so funny! DH even said to me last night that he is jealous- apparently the only male boards he can find are about porn or scalextric

(actually he is a big scalextric fan)

bobblehead · 21/07/2006 19:45

Don't anyone get too excited, but I just did hpt and I think there's a faint line...
Now we're talking so faint its squint through one eye type thing and probably one of those ghost/evap line things AAAAARGGGHHHH!!!!!!
It can't be can it? Now I've gone and got my hopes up and its far too early to be testing...
AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 21/07/2006 19:46

Hiya Coggy me old mucker! Not disappointed by the BFN really, as knew af was on its way. Still messing about though and not "normal". I may test agin in a couple of days just to rule out pg.
I guess your af will be on its way out soon won't it and you'll be back on the case!!

bobblehead · 21/07/2006 19:46

Sorry
Thant was a really tactless post after andis.

Andi really hope it is a real bfp for you, so sorry about your miscarraige

Sexonlegs · 21/07/2006 20:15

Hi Pendulum, not been on the pill for years, so don't know what is causing it. I am sure af will leap into action properly. lol about thwe scalextrix chat room - how interesting!!
Bobblehead, how v exciting!! When is/was your af due then?

bobblehead · 21/07/2006 20:33

I think af is due Wed but only had 2 since finishing bf. Last cycle was 35 days so assumed this would be the same. Just confused cos didn't really have ov signs this month...Guess I'll test again in the morning though the wait will kill me.

Pendulum know what you mean about the liberation on here! Glad I have people to tell these things to as explaining to childless friends why I took a pg test when I didn't think I was pg,etc would just not be understood! Have found myself accidently giving tmi sometimes though when I forget I'm not talking to fellow ttcer's!

Natty1806 · 21/07/2006 21:12

I agree this place is brill, i have done that before and starting talking about EWCM and Cervix psoitions, think it went straight over there heads.

Sounding good for you bobblehead, how early will you be up? I will be up at 6.30 so will be back to check then, i did one today but was BFN which i knew anyway (at least i have no more HPT's in the house now)

bobblehead · 21/07/2006 22:55

I'm sort of scared to test tomorrow in case its neg or still really faint, but not sure how long I can hold out! We're 6 hours behind you so won't be too early.
Sorry about your bfn NattyI'm half convinced mine is evap line.

coggy · 21/07/2006 23:14

Bobble, Bobble, Bobble.....oooooooohhhh! I hope it's a definite BFP - how exciting!!!!

Natty...boohoo. Hope you don't feel too sad. I was disappointed even tho we only bd'ed about three times so highly unlikely anyway!!
Started again today! CD6 - well you never know!!

Can't believe how daft I am forgeting my blinkin' clomid!! I think I had so many pg symtoms that I was in denial and totally forgot that I needed that extra bit of help!!!

SOL - yup....started today in the vain hope that I actually ov early (CD6) and this is the month I discover it by falling pg today!!! (Never mind the evidence that I actaully ov around CD18/19......that doesn't seem to be working so I'm going for an alternative approach!!!!!)

MIAM...feel very sad for your neighbour and you.
I lost my beautiful boy at 40 weeks and the shock sometimes hits me by surprise at totally random times!! I hope that you feel that you can talk to her about him/her.

Pendulum...sorry that your AF came...you sounded like a good possibility this month too...

Laughalot....good to 'see' you again. I hope your pg is going well and you haven't been suffering from MS.

Oooh...a bit long I think....sorry if I've forgotton anyone/thing!!

bubblez · 22/07/2006 08:19

Hiya all,

I'm up early and I thought that I would just see how everyone is and as I probably won't be online when other people wake I thought that I would leave a post.

Natty - I'm sorry to hear about your BFN. On the positive side though, you have apointment in just over a week and there is a chance that this dreaded heatwave will pass long enough to BDing easier. Till then just do what you said you were going to do, relax and pamper yourself.

Hi Bobblehead - I do hope that I'm online when you test again, ooooh fingers crossed that you have a BFP.

How is everyone getting on then?

Natty1806 · 22/07/2006 08:35

I know what you mean coggy even though i only did it 3 times this month and no signs of ovulation you still feel a little gutted, imagine what i will be like when i do ov' and have lots of bding and still get BFN!!!

Having seen so many BFN know i think when you get a line on a test no matter how faint if it is in the time as per instructions you are pregnant.

Am off to the zoo today but it has been raining here at night so hope it does not rain today.

Anyway will be popping back later to give some congrats.

Have nice days. x

Natty1806 · 22/07/2006 08:40

Thanks Bubblez your right only 10 days to go so am going to make chill out, am currently constantrating (sp?) on my weight loss in a bid to lose the belly LOL

Sorry if i have missed anyone. x

bubblez · 22/07/2006 08:47

LOL I know what you mean. I have at least a stone of excess weight to loose. (can't even call it baby weight as dd is 2.5) But there is that lazy part of me that keeps saying "if you get pgnant you'll put it back on anyway, so why bother" and then I grab another bar of chocolate. BTW I put on 4stone with dd

Sexonlegs · 22/07/2006 09:15

Morning all, and Coggy, glad to hear you are back on the case already - you go girl!
Bobblehead, looking forward to hearing from you later on today.

Now, I know I have said this many times this week, but af has DEFINITELY arrived now, so am taking this as CD1. Tbh though I might stop counting days, and just spend the monh drinking grapefruit juice, shagging and squirting preseed up my doodah - whilst reading "the book".!!

Hope everyone else is well. Will be back later. xx

bubblez · 22/07/2006 09:44

Morning SOL - I know that I am going to sound soooo thick now but What is preseed? and are you drinking grapefruit juice to make you more fertile etc...

bit new to all these ideas, tried to follow on the july thread but got lost along the way.

Sexonlegs · 22/07/2006 10:02

Hi Bubblez, preseed is a sperm friendly vaginal lubricant, and apparently grapefruit juice can help produce more ewcm (egg white cervical mucus) - the stuff that is produced before ov and is fertile. This will be the first month of ttc with the aid of these things, so we shall see how we do!

bubblez · 22/07/2006 10:23

Thanks for clearing that up SOL if AF comes next week I'll have join you with the grapefruit juice too.

coggy · 22/07/2006 10:52

LOL SOL!!!!
A simple but, hopefully, effective plan!!!

coggy · 22/07/2006 10:54

Ooops! Also meant to say...I hope you have a good time at the zoo Natty!!

I got up early (dh on nights) and was sadly excited to go to Sainsburys!!! (Usually do Tescos so this was an early morning Saturday adventure!!)

How sad am I ??!!

The zoo will be infinitely better...........
