okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

Not as sad as me Coggy. I've been up since 6.00am getting dd ready to see her uncle (jail bird), spent most of the time when she left roaming arround mumsnet looking for people to talk to.

Just call me billy no mates...

Sexonlegs · 22/07/2006 11:06

Coggy, I would get excited by a trip to Sainsbury's, as dh hates me going there as is so expensive! Honestly!!

coggy · 22/07/2006 12:24

We truely are a sad bunch aren't we??!!

Just as well we have MN for our confessions and don't have to admit to it all in RL!!!

bobblehead · 22/07/2006 14:00

Morning all! Well I did another test and there is still only a faint line...although dh does agree its there so I'm not imagining it! Don't think its evap as it does come up within 3 mins, just soooo faint. Plus I've done around 6 of these in the last few months (cheapy internet) and never had even a hint of a line (and obviously I retreive them from the bin several times a day and study closely!)
So...I can't call it a bfp but I'm very hopeful. Thing is I have tested way too early so will wait until af is due and buy "proper" test then. In the meantime I will finish up my cheap tests by doing one a day until then.

I am so aware that this could all go wrong, it being so early, especially after what happened to Trace and SOH ((()) hugs to you both x) so am desperately trying not to get my hopes up.

(its not evap is it????)

desperate2bmum · 22/07/2006 14:43

hi bobble i really have got my fingers crossed for you...it does sound good.
which cheap tests are u using from ebay? whats the seller?
i brought some from a lady and ov ones too...i am confused cos i have been doing the ov ones and nothing then last 2 days been getting a faint line...maybe they just arnt very good?

Sexonlegs · 22/07/2006 15:19

Oh Bobblehead, this is all sounding good! Just what you wished for on your birthday eh?
Fingers crossed.
I have the most HORRENDOUS af pain, and my tummy has ballooned as if I am pg! Love it!!!

bobblehead · 22/07/2006 15:21

Hi dm2b, I got them from Early pregnancy website. I had ov sticks from there too, which usually gave me nothing but last weekend I had a line (not positive but quite dark) and same again yesterday (just in the mood for peeing on sticks yesterday). Have a look on the peeonastick website, its very informative about tests.

coggy · 22/07/2006 19:37

Oh Bobble - this sounds good.

I think that the cheap tests are a good idea as it fulfils that need every month and then, if you do get a 'cheap line', you can try a more expensive one.

Good plan.....I like it!!

bobblehead · 22/07/2006 22:51

Almost asked dh to try one so we could see if its evap but I'm way too possesive of my tests

coggy · 22/07/2006 23:09

LOL Bobblehead.....it just gets rather addictive tho doesn't it??!!

Only a few more hours before you can test again in the morning!!!!

Natty1806 · 23/07/2006 09:50

Morning

Had good time at the zoo yesterday, took a friends daughter. Must admit it is hard work having kids and i only had her for the day. It's really weird to have someone else to think about, not that i am a selfish person but you get so used to doing waht you what to do and when you want to do it - think i have a lot to learn.

Didn't put me off having kids though, looking forward to Bobble posting her BFP and lots of s later as i am sure she is preg.

Hope everyone else is well, got the shopping to do today and after reading cogg's excitment of going to sainsbury's instead of tescos i think i might get DP to go with me to the big ASDA near us for a change, think it is the biggest one in the country.

OMG know i sound sad, oh well seem to be rambling...off i go.

Sexonlegs · 23/07/2006 21:29

Where is everyone? Can't be watching BB as that has finished - to my horror. I thought it was on at 9.00 as usual!!
So, anybody have anything to report?
My af is awful this month - TMI alert. Awful pain, particularly on left hand side and really quite heavy with some small clots - pleasant!
I am hoping I haven't got endometriosis - has anyone else got/had this?
I was always told that after having children af pain/af woud be better, but having had dd 3 yrs ago, it has got progressively worse! They lied..!!!

pendulum · 23/07/2006 21:50

Hi SOL, I've just logged on to see if any more news from bobblehead. Sorry you're feeling so uncomfortable.

I've had a great day, eating icecream in the park with DD and then taking the shears to the overgrown garden tonight.

AF seems to be at an end so need to get obsessed with "signs" again soon. Am on CD 5 tomorrow- but of how many? Last cycles have been 37, 34 and now 25 days!

Is anyone else due to test in the next week or so?

muminamini · 23/07/2006 21:54

Hi everyone!!

SOL - I missed BB too - bloody DH wanted to watch Top Gear tsk tsk....by the way I was killing myself laughing at your post about your plan for the month and read it out to DH - he says you are a 'classy bird' lol

Bobble - I am so excited for you - it all sounds VERY promising doesn't it! Glad to see you are addicted to HPT's too.

Been another nice day here... went to Morrisons today (on serious economy drive and DH has banned me from Sainsbury's or Tesco so very jelous of your trip Coggy) our DS has taken to calling it a 'girly shop' but if he goes to B&Q with his Dad then thats a 'mans shop'! Sexist already and only 2 years old.

Natty - don't you worry about how you will deal with becoming a Mum - I was exactly the same before DS - you'll be absolutley fine. I think when the baby is yours it's just totally different..if you see what I mean.

Welcome to all the new names Bubblez and Andi, looking forward to getting to know you all. I am now on CD 9 and we have managed a BD on Day 7 and 8 so we've started early...I am kicker inspecting vigourously for the EWCM (sorry TMI)

Can't stomach grapefruit juice so hoping I get an abundance of the stuff naturally!

muminamini · 23/07/2006 21:55

I am sure you all realised I meant KNICKER

Sexonlegs · 23/07/2006 22:23

Fab, people back on line. I was missing you all. I did wonder what kicker inspecting was miam - of course I knew what it was!!
I am a classy bird - honest!!
I hate grapefruit juice as well, but will give it a whirl. I have no idea though how much of it you are supposed to take, and when? - is it all the time or just in the run up to ov???
Pendulum, sounds like you have had a lovely day. It sounds v promising for Bobblehead doesn't it. I will be soooo jealous, as we both hoped we would get our bfp's this month as her bday was on the 11th July and mine was on the 12th. Of course I will also be v pleased for her!!
Anyway, bed time for me - such a dirty stop out.
Sweet dreams everyone and see you tomorrow. xx

bobblehead · 23/07/2006 22:53

Have sat down to post 3 times today and each time dd launches an attack and I have to leave!
No more news from me, still a faint line this morning. I have one cheapo test left so I've promised myself not to do it until af day (wed) as this is still so early. Then I will buy something expensive to check with no matter what the result. Not sure how I'll last that long!
Anyone else ready to test or ovulate?

coggy · 23/07/2006 23:53

I missed BB too!!!!

A huge Asda sounds cool...but dangerous and pricey if I were let loose!!

And Morrisons....well I'd probably still get excited just cos it's different!!!
Now that's really sad to admit to!!!

Must go to bed!!

Natty1806 · 24/07/2006 07:19

Didn't get to the big ASDA, just the usual one, but we went out for lunch and a walk down the cannal plus i got to cuddle my friends 7 month old baby that is trying to talk (well makes noises) and kept me smiling all afternoon.

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 07:54

Well i'm on CD26 of and 28 day cycle and I really want to test even though I haven't had any signs. Although on Friday I felt really sick on the tube but I think this is because I eat to many sweets!.

I know what you mean Natty whenever I see a little baby let alone hold them I go into this big cheesy grin! I'm sure all these parents in town and on the tube must think I'm some sort of stalker.

Natty1806 · 24/07/2006 08:07

Hi Nicki

Well done for holding out on the testing, only 2 days to go and hopefully you will know either way, think i am on CD40.

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 08:12

I know but DP's just gone off to work and I want to test now but I only have Sainsburys tests which says to do them on first day of missed period.

Does anyone know whether they do work 2 days early??

Natty1806 · 24/07/2006 08:44

Not sure you can always try.

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 08:54

No it was a moment of weakness I'm going to wait until Wednesday as it's a waste of money as I'm sure i'm not pg.

Natty1806 · 24/07/2006 09:28

Yeah, wait till wednesday. fingers crossed for you. x
