Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

Hurrah - how nice to see you here Captain Dippy.

Haven't seen you around for a few days Trace - how are things going now?

CaptainDippy · 07/08/2006 10:43

Thank you!

WantAbabyNOW · 07/08/2006 10:46

Hey everyone! I am just copying what I wrote from other thread as feel I am neglecting you!

Hi all,

I hope you have been getting real busy Natty!

I had an appoint with my gp today. Had first ever smear test and was suprised how awful it was! I know there will be worse to come but gosh!! I am also bleeding lightly which I did not think would happen. The lovely lady even provided me with an internal! I dont recall asking for that though. She says ovaries seem fine. Did not realise you could touch them from down there!

Back to specialist tomorrow. Bit unsure what will happen.

Have tonnes of homework to mark tonight though so I should probably worry about that first.

On the side, I think maybe I did ovulate due to the pain I had, some ferning patterns and also temp has been rising. Spoke to gp and she seems to think this is possible. Fingers crossed. If did ov then dh and I have been bd like crazy so we may just get there! One can only hope.

Hope you are all feeling positive. I know most days its hard to do when you want something so desperately and it is out of your control.

Will try to come back once have finished my huge pile of marking.

WantAbabyNOW · 07/08/2006 10:46

Welcome Dippy

MrsMcJnr · 07/08/2006 10:49

Morning ladies, I am feeling very sorry for myself as I am choked with the cold and have a very sore throat. I haven't taken anything yet though because I thought I'd get some advice from you first. I am on CD23 and just in case we have got lucky this month, I don't want to take anything that might harm a baby. Can anyone help me by clarifiying what I can take?

How is everyone else today? It seemed like quite a quiet weekend on here.

trace2 · 07/08/2006 10:54

CaptainDippy welcome!

coggy am fine you, any symtoms?

wanbaby, lol (provided me with an internal! I dont recall asking for that though) and no i didnt know either

MrsMcJnr you can take paraceamal, how you better soon, my dh got a stinky cold too

WantAbabyNOW · 07/08/2006 10:58

Mrs Mc I suggest a warm lemon tea or something.

But knowing myself it is the perfect excuse for ice cream. Prob would make it worse though.

I so have to do marking but cant seem to get off mn. will start in 5 mins I swear!!!

trace2 · 07/08/2006 11:00

MrsMcJnr and coggy whens af due??

Angsthase · 07/08/2006 11:00

Just been catching up - was off work alot of last week and busy the rest of the time and pc at home is knackered so this is my first chance to post.

Desperate - know how you feel re pg / mc delay. My clock is ticking sounds like Big Ben these days so could have done without the whole episode, but at least got some hope from it that I could get pg again.

Wantababy - pg by xmas would be soooo cool!!

SOL - lol at your Bd'ing story.

Natty - our time WILL come. Never give up hope.

Coggy - Knickersvsnickers perhaps?

Bd'ed on days 7,8,9,10 and 11 as DH went away on day 12, but think I'm oving today (day 17) , so it was all in vein this month. Heho, here's to a positive Sept then!

wannaBe1974 · 07/08/2006 11:02

hiya all

desperate tube mum sorry to hear about af, never think that you shouldn't have got pregnant in the first place, imo it's a no-win situation sometimes, I've found myself thinking on more than one occasion that if I'd had a m/c at least I would know I could get pregnant, and from the perspective of those who have had m/c they wish they'd never got pregnant because it could have set them back etc. It will happen for you - you do know that you are able to conceive, try to hold on to that and your baby will come along when it is meant to.

Wantababy sounds like your internal was lovely, not. Im not sure how they can feel the ovaries but obviously they've had years of training to do so and they know what they're looking for I guess.

Trace and coggy hows you?

Am on cd24 today. Sore boobs have gone completely, really don't know what all that was about, am also totally miserable so guess it must be pmt, still waiting for dh's fertility plus to arrive.

Angsthase · 07/08/2006 11:15

Want to get DH fertility plus (even though his tests were ok), but I think he would only take it while he's home as he has to declare all medication when he goes to work and I think the poor thing would be embarassed about declaring that - I couldn't even get him to take his zinc tablets with him!
Do you think it would still be worth him taking them (3 wks out of 5?)

trace2 · 07/08/2006 11:21

wannbe the m/c as made me think that at least i got pg!, now my worrys are why didnt it stick?, but on a plus note it as made me more postive about keep trying for a little longer, no idea about your sore boobs only my book says you can get sore boobs on ovulation

trace2 · 07/08/2006 11:22

Angsthase yes i think its worth him taking the 3 out of 5 weeks as they helped my dh and he didnt take every day had to remind him

Sexonlegs · 07/08/2006 11:25

Morning all.
Wright, I am so sorry to hear about your m/c, and glad to hear you are not too down.
d2bm, sorry to hear af has arrived ...nasty thing.
Hello to all the new ladies, and big hugs to all the "old" ones! Limited time to go through all the posts as at work.
DD1 - any news from you, as af is due isn't it?
Not much to report here. CD17 today. Bd'd Sat night (this time at my cousin's house!) and will bd again tonight. Still staying with parents, so another attempt in a single bed!!
Hope everyone is well. Keep up the bd'ing ladies, and will be here again later no doubt. I am sooooooo bored at work!

MrsMcJnr · 07/08/2006 11:29

Thanks Trace. That should help. How are you today? My chart says that I am still in the fertile phase but that this is the last day and predicts that I should expect AF on 12/8 (CD28). That is a bit worrying as it would mean my luteal phase is only 10 days but we?ll see, the prediction could be wrong. Was a bit confused today as the coverline shifted from 35.9 to 36.4. I guess that is because I have 6 temps above the previous coverline? I suppose all I can do is wait for AF to arrive and then I?ll know either way?

Wantababynow, thanks for the tip. This site is addictive isn?t it?

Hope you feel better soon Wannabe1974.

Hello to everyone I haven?t mentioned. Anyone suspect that there might be some BFP celebrations again soon?

Just got a text from a friend who is expecting her 2nd ? the babies will only be 15 months apart. Wow.

Babymad4num3 · 07/08/2006 11:32

Hi I'm CD22 today, I went to the Doctor's last week about a kidney infection, but before he could give me any tablets for it, he had to do a pg test I told him there was no point that I've had 12 months of neg's, (he still did a pg test and yes it was a neg).
He told me to make an appointment next week to talk about the whole baby thing next week!
I am wondering what path will I be going down now!
Because I feel like once I go down the path that it will be taken out my hands and I will have to admit that maybe there is something wrong.
Please I need some comfort talk and some advice

Sexonlegs · 07/08/2006 11:34

Hi Angsthase, I am on the same CD as you! How exciting!!

Angsthase · 07/08/2006 11:38

Yes SOL - but at least you're getting to BD in lots of wierd and wonderful places - all I have is a vibrator!!

Natty1806 · 07/08/2006 11:47

PSML

Sexonlegs · 07/08/2006 11:59

Angsthase, I would say you were the lucky one! My vibrator is safe at my house - couldn't bring myself to bring it to my parents house!

trace2 · 07/08/2006 14:31

trace2 · 07/08/2006 14:32

coggy · 07/08/2006 14:35

Hi Trace - I think we may need to start another August thread as this ones up to 900 postings and only the beginning of Aug!!!

I'm on broadband now and it STILL doesn't let me add a message if the thread's too long - how annoying!!!

I'm fine thanks - had AF type cramps yesterday which is rubbish as I'm only 4dpo!!!
If AF comes this month I am going to demand to see the consultant as this is just getting stupid now!!

AF due on Thursday (8dpo).

LOL at the name Angsthase!!!
