okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

MrsMcJnr, I feel for you, its is so a mans world. I bet if they just produced swimmers 2 days a month, they would make sure they were put to good use!

Coggy, sod the diet and do everything else

Becky, fingers crossed for you

Natty, good luck with the BDing

Angsthase, empathy for the 2WW. Im on CD 23 and going mad

Wannabe, not sure what the cramps would be so soon after ov. I started getting AF type cramps last night, and still have them 2day. Im usually a CD27/28 girl and never have cramps this early(CD23). Also have headache. Im hoping its implantation, but its probably just an early AF..allthough Ive never has one less than 27 days

Babydust to all, and those Ive missed

aprilmeadow · 02/08/2006 19:40

Bellie · 02/08/2006 19:50

Hi all,

not sure that Dh has twigged which days are which at the moment - only in month 3 of ttc - but I am sure that if we have to keep trying for many more months he will work it out and be a little less enthusiastic at times

Bit of a worry this month - I am pretty sure that I ov yesterday (cd15) but have had no EWCM - I am assuming that this is a bad thing??

Good luck to all those waiting to test and baby dust to everyone else!

Babymad4num3 · 02/08/2006 20:50

Please can i join..................................................................................................................................... I'm on my CD17 today and i will be testing hopefully a pos test on he 14th August, i've been trying 12 months and i hope this site has brought me some luck.

Sexonlegs · 02/08/2006 20:56

Hi all, just catching up on all the goss on here.
Still with my parents, as our house is being extended and the place is a bomb site. Been here a week and no bd'ing yet, but now on CD12 so should get on with it. Also, had long cm today, but more creamy than clear - sorry TMI!!
Hope everyone is well.
Pmsl MrsMcJnr about the digital thermometer waking dh up!
Beccy, hope you are ok - not long until test day now is it?
And how are you Coggy, Trace, Wannabe, Natty and all the other lovely ladies?
Haven't heard much from miam and pendulum recently.
Need to go, as my dad is hovering and I would so if he read any of this!!
Lots of love to all.

Beccy1974 · 03/08/2006 07:42

af for me but it's been light although a v odd pain in right side which has really been lurking for a year but now has kicked in with force.

becky first of all get that pain checked out, dont want to scare you but it could be eptopic! ans i understand how you feel about staying away ive tried it, but soon came back but its your choice please let us know about the pain in your side! all the best for the future if you decide to stop off and hope to see you on an due whenever thread

MrsMcJnr · 03/08/2006 09:34

Hello everyone, hope this is going to be a good day for all. The nasty cold rain has gone and the sun is out and I made DH late for work this morning by insisting on a very quick BD . Didn?t get the chance to do any lounging though so hope that hasn?t hampered our chances.

Coggy ? I hope you had a lovely evening last night. I did confess about the thermometer, DH gave me a very confused look. He has sussed out though that grapefruit juice is part of the grand plan!

Trace ? Loved your picture! temps for the last few days have been 35.8, 36.1 and today 36.4 so are creeping up but not significant shift so I don?t think I have OV yet as still have the hand lotion stuff and no sign of Egg White (sorry TMI) but maybe that is the best I am going to get? Just worried I?ll miss the boat so I?m trying to make sure as much BDing happens in the next few days as I can, DH?s fatigue permitting!

Fingers crossed DD1 that it is implantation. Aprilmeadow ? go for it!

Hello Babymadfornum3, good luck for when you test, I?ll be watching out for you.

Sorry to see you go Beccy, very best of luck to you and hope to see you again soon. Hope you are ok, let us know.

To everyone else, sending you all good vibes and hoping to see some BFPs soon!

trace2 · 03/08/2006 09:46

MrsMcJnr looks like you ovulate the day of 35.8 because it went up to36.1 the day after, so if you got it above your cover line more than 3 days yove ovu so just tomorrows now to be sure

Bellie · 03/08/2006 09:52

Becky will be sorry to see you go - can you not just post everyso often? Dh sometimes gets fed up with me on here - but then I manage at various points throughout the day when he is not around . As trace says get the pain checked out.

MrsMcJnr - I am sure that I have ov'd but had no ewcm either - I am just bd'ing away hoping that it will work anyway!!

coggy · 03/08/2006 10:03

Welcome Babymad....you are on a similar CD to quite a few of us so we will all be getting hopeful at the same time!!

Beccy.... sorry to hear about you AF now. Take care and hopefully we'll hear from you again soon. X

SOL....how much longer are you staying at your inlaws place? What extension are you having done?

I haven't heard from MIAM or Pendulum for a while but it's holiday times and I've kindof lost track of those who sadi they are going away!!

Trace...you okay today?
Have you heard how Wrighty's getting on?

MrsMcJnr · 03/08/2006 10:40

Oh No, Trace, I think you are right and that means I have blown my chances for this month! If I OV CD17 and only BDed CD11 & CD19 then chances are I cannot get pregnant this month can I? I looked at the Fertility Planner on the TCOYF software and CD11 was low fertility and low chance of conceiving and CD19 is fertile but low chance of conceiving. CDs14 &15 were my best chance, no wonder I was so cross with DH for being too tried to BD on CD15 ? funny what your body tells you!

trace2 · 03/08/2006 10:48

no you can still concive the sperm can live for 5 days if you do it will prob be a girl, and if you ovulate late on cd 17 and you bding on 19 if it was morning the egg can live for 24 hours so your still in for a chance.

coggy am ok, feel very tired today had a few late nights, hows you?

wrighty is waiting for results today i think or no i think it was late yesterday dont think shes been back on! hopw shes bearing up ok

MrsMcJnr · 03/08/2006 11:55

Thanks Trace, you are really good at this, you should give classes! Fingers crossed for me too then.

wannaBe1974 · 03/08/2006 12:13

hiya all

Beccy sorry to hear that you feel you have to go. I can totally empathise as have been there and tried to stay away but generally it's nice to come here just to catch up with how everyone is, even if you don't post what's going on in your life. Would definitely get the pain checked out - esp if you've had it for a few months now.

Coggy how did your night out go last night - did you have lots of yummy things to eat?

Hope everyone else is well?

Dh has said I should go buy him whatever it is he needs to improve sperm count - can anyone point me in the right direction? I know zink and solenium are supposed to be good - where can I obtain them or does anyone know what foods dh can eat to get these? also anything else he can take? am ve reluctant to buy anything from the website I found that said "give your partner the surprise of a 500% better sperm count!". bit reluctant to buy things I've never heard of or which you can't buy in conventional shops iyswim?

Am on cd 20 and the pains I had yesterday went away so dunnow what that was about - maybe to do with the exercise I've been doing or something.

WantAbabyNOW · 03/08/2006 12:43

Hi Wanna,

I heard fertility plus for men? Its available from a website. Not sure how good it is though.

I think maybe go see a natropath or something?

WantAbabyNOW · 03/08/2006 12:46

There was a cancellation at the fertility clinic and so I now have an appointment next tuesday!

Will prob get my clomid then and review dh sperm count.

V. Happy!

Night all

Natty1806 · 03/08/2006 13:46

Good news wannabe, glad hubby is still keen to try. you must be happy.

you can get men tablets in the same place your buy your folic acid from in the super market. Think brazil nuts are good and so is steak.

Wannabump - you must be pleased for the new appointment date. Keep us posted.

coggy · 03/08/2006 14:16

wannaBe....excellent news about your man wanting to get on with it.
I gave my dh just bog-standard multi-vitamins and then some extra zinc too - seemed to work as his second test was way better than the first sad one!!
I quite like the sound of that 500% surprise tho!!!!

We had a lovely time last night. Food was good and healthy (unless we count pudding and wine!!) and we had some fizzy stuff when we got home too...so I was glad I had a lazy am today.

I didn't realise that Wanta lived in Aus....that all makes sense now!!

Trace - what have you been up to with your late nights then??!

wannaBe1974 · 03/08/2006 14:16

mmm steak.

Well have bitten the bullet and purchased some fertility plus for men. Saw also that there was fertility plus for women but wasn't sure about that as I've heard things about taking supplements and that they could cause miscarriage etc? so am holding off those at the moment. hopefully we will see an increase in dh sperm count after three months and if so and if I'm not pg by then maybe I'll re-think the woman's one too.

wantababy that's great news about your appointment

coggy · 03/08/2006 14:17

Where did you get them from wannaBe?

desperate2bmum · 03/08/2006 16:02

hi girlies

if a hpt test picks up 20mIU/mL - is that a sensitive test?! just read on another thread that 10 is sensitive and anything above 25 isnt...am slightly confused now

Tili · 03/08/2006 16:21
