okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

Sort of, I only broke up on tuesday though, I have lots of paperwork to catch up on (lazy old me) and quite frankly just need to get on with it I could probably do it all in a day if I put my mind to it... we should really try that planning thread again in september
How about you?

coggy · 27/07/2006 18:58

We finished on Monday and I've just been really lazy since!!
I've done nothing!!

I think I need a schedule to stop me grinding to a halt!!

peachygirl · 27/07/2006 19:00

I always do nothing for at least two days in any holiday. Are you going away?

Tili · 27/07/2006 19:23

Hello everyone!
I hope its ok for me to post here? I am ttc my second child but have just come off the pill. Last weekend I had a little blood in my cm it lasted about 2 days could this be inplantation bleeding or is it more likely my hormones returning to normal? I keep thinking that im just building my hopes up as I got pg straight after my pill period last time. Does anyone have any ideas? I didnt have anything like this last time. Thanks xx

Natty1806 · 27/07/2006 20:37

Hi everyone and welcome to all the newbies.

PCM - Excellent news about your sister, hope the next two weeks fly by for her and it is a BFP.

Not much to report today, apart from the fact i have been cuddling a 7 month old baba and he makes me smile so much he is lovely (gooey eyed expression)

coggy · 27/07/2006 21:01

Sorry Peachy - I disappeared!!
We want to go away but the kennels we use for our dog are full....hopefully they'll give us a ring if they have any space and we'll shoot off last minute.

We can always go up North to see my FIL and take the dog. Real shops up there!!

Beccy1974 · 27/07/2006 21:04

hi Tili, welcome

wld think could be either readjusting or implantation myself but am no expert

does it tie in with possible ovulation being about 14 days before?

Can someone tell me please what the front of the toni weschler book is as I have looked on Amazon and there are a few under the tite "Taking Charge of Your Fertility".

There is one that has a pinky coloured background with green writing. Also there is a tenth edition and another one!

Thanks a bunch. x

Sexonlegs · 27/07/2006 21:24

Hi all, and welcome to all the new lasses on here.
Coggy, I lived in Exmouth for 10 years!!! Did you go to school there?
Nothing to report here. Af now stopped, but don't feel like we can bd as staying at mum and dads! Feel like naughty school children!!
PCM - sounds positive for your sister - fingers crossed.
Beccy - sorry to hear about your car.
Anyway, need to run as on parents' PC!!
Love to all. xx

Tili · 27/07/2006 21:37

hi beccy. im actually not entirely sure when i ovulated my next af is due aug 3 would it be to early to test? Last time I was pg i tested 2 days after i was due and got a negative, then a week later got a positive. I really dont want to build my hopes up but I want to know whats going on just so I can ttc next month on a clean slate if you get what I mean?

muminamini · 27/07/2006 21:55

Hi ladies

I feel so drained I cannot tell you how desperatley sad the burial was today. We have all cried buckets full of tears and to be honest I am just exhausted. I am releived that part is over at least.

On a brighter note my ewcm has arrived in abundance today and we BD'd last night (god that fan was brilliant - had best nights sleep in ages afterwards!) so will have to encourage DH to BD again tonight.

not feeling very chatty tonight but lots of baby dust to you all.
PCM - brilliant news about your sisters embryo's - I hope those beanies are extra sticky
nightx

Bellie · 27/07/2006 22:00

muminamimi - sounds like a very draining day .

have lots of cuddles with dh (and b'd)

Beccy1974 · 28/07/2006 06:01

miam - sounds like a really gut wrenching day. can't begin to imagine how your poor neighbour feels

tili - i'm due aug 2 or 3rd too, not sure which. is too early i think. i know i ov, just not sure it ws actually on, but having already been silly & tested way early am now just going to wait till at least due date. hang on in there, will try & do same

OP posts:
coggy · 28/07/2006 08:45

MIAM - I'm glad that you have got through that horrid day yesterday.

It did made me smile a bit - only on MN can we discuss something so tragic and then move straight onto the knicker patrol again!!!

SOL - I was there for five years. I went to the college there and stayed a bit longer just having fun!!!

Tili - if a test showed negative when you were two days late I would wait AT LEAST until the day your AF is due otherwise it's a waste of money.

trace2 · 28/07/2006 09:27

pussycat potive vibes for youe sis! and hows you??

muminamini so glad you got throught yesterday, they are the worse things to go too,

Cream1 thare are diffrent fronts but the same inside, diffrent years.

Tili welcome, you never know you could get pg straight after pill

becky sorry about the car

peachy its ok just nice to see you coming on here still

Natty, bet holding that baby made you more broody

coggy you have to keep bringing knicker patrol again up

hi to anyone ive missed,

i had a egg on my person this morning and the best double line on ovulation stick so might not be on here much this weekend.

Hiya ladies,

Welcome all the newbies to a lovely thread.

Tili I agree with the other ladies on here that it would be best to wait to test. Difficault I know.

PCM lots and lots of sticky baby vibes going out to your sister. How wonderful about her ubundance of Grade1 embryos.

MIAM my sympathies to you, funerals are such a drain on the emotions. But I am sooo please that the fan is making bding easier and the presence of your EWCM now you just have to 'get to it'.

D2BM very about your day of pampering. How did it go? I bet you feel very revitalised now.

Oh no beccy about your car! Sounds like something that I would do if I could drive. lol How are you today anyway?

Has anyone heard from Nicki? I wonder how her pgnancy is going.... Nicki YOU THERE!!

How is everyone today anyway?

bubblez · 28/07/2006 10:10

OMG Trace great news about your oving. BIG fingers crossed for you.

Beccy1974 · 28/07/2006 10:14

hey all

£1k worth of damage and off road for a week. back to the old car. this is a co scheme car albeit i pay extra to have something fun rather than basic.

fab news re oving trace :-)

i bet nicki is out shopping and listing what goodies she needs for baby -

any things i kidded myself were symptoms seem to have faded away so just left with the thought of good old af next week ..

just as well .. clearly not safe to have baby if hit stationary bollards in car parks! :-)

Hello ladies. Happy Friday!

Hi Trace, thanks for the babydust, truly needed. LOL at your terminology! things sound good with you, good luck .

All the best, everything crossed for your sister Pussycatmomma, sounds positive!

I cannot imagine hope awful yesterday was Muminamini, hopefully now that the funeral has happened, your neighbours will be able to find some closure, truly tragic.

Cream 1, the 10th anniversary edition of the book does not come out until November so I bought the latest one from Amazon which has green writing on a beige cover and was published in 2003. Think the 2003 has more UK references than the 1995 one.

Hi Tili, I came off the pill last month and was am hoping for an early win too, best of luck to you and nice to meet you.

Poor you re the car Becky, nightmare!

Hang in the Wannabe, not long until Monday and you just never know. Hope the weekend is not too hard for you both.

I'm fed up today, my charting is not going well, my waking temp has been the same everyday for the last few and it is only 35.9c, I cannot work out what is going on with CP or with CF and I drank a couple of strong gins last night that made me fall asleep rather than encourage any
BD'ing. Am on CD13.

Maybe I am just putting too much pressure on myself. I have been reading more of the TW book and I think I am now worrying that I have everything wrong that could go wrong!

trace2 · 28/07/2006 10:30

MrsMcJnr theres nothing wrong with your charting, mine stays same until i ovulte, ill give you an example.
from day 7
dy 7 36.2
dy8 36.3
dy9 36.2
dy10 36.3
dy11 36.3
dy12 36.3
dy13 36.2
now just waiting for a rise over weekend, with getting egg sign, usally two days after that
so my cover line is 36.3 where yours sounds like 35.9 if its not gone higher than that.

MrsMcJnr · 28/07/2006 10:41

Thanks Trace2, that does make me feel better. All the charts in the book go up and down, I was beinning to think my new thermometer was broken! Really hope the weekend brings great things for you . I think I am also grumpy because I have bad hayfever and really itchy eyes but don't want to take any antihistimines. This site always makes me feel better but must do some work soon, feeling very guilty!

wannaBe1974 · 28/07/2006 10:54

morning all

trace glad to hear about ov, how get to it, lol.
Teely agree with others, the longer you can hold out to test the better. if you wait a week and you're pg you'll still be pg in a week, but if you're not your af will have arrived and you'll have saved the money you would have spent on the test.

Muminamini so sorry to hear about your neighbour's little one, I can't begin to imagine what she must be going through.

Beccy sorry to hear about the car - at least no-one was hurt, cars can be replaced.

Peachy good to see you on here - don't be a stranger

Coggy hows you?

how's everyone else I might have forgotten?

am on cd14 today, have had lots of ewcm over past few days but no ov pains so not sure if/when I will ovulate. the subject of babies has pretty much been iliminated from our house now though - I don't like to mention it any more because of how bad dh feels about it all.

was talking to a friend last night who's going through similar, his wife has a problem with her ovaries in that they didn't come down properly into her pelvis or something? so although she ovulates normally etc, her ovaries aren't in the right place for sperm to be able to reach them, have never heard of that before but they've basically told her that because of the positioning of her ovaries even ivf would be impossible as egg retrieval wouldn't be possible. my friend says it's put an enormous strain on their relationship as she's blaming him and saying that she thinks he doesn't want another baby because he doesn't spend every waking moment talking/crying about it like she does. My friend said he is sad about it but that he knows life has to go on, and we had a long chat about it last night and I said that it's different for a man to a woman, men want to have babies, women need to have them, he said I'd explained it perfectly and that no-one else seemed to understand that.

Sexonlegs · 28/07/2006 10:59

Morning ladies,
MIAM, the funeral sounded emotionally draining - what an awful thing to have to go through.
Sorry to hear about your car Beccy - woops! Fingers crossed for next week as well.
Trace, great news about ov'ing - it is sooo exciting isn't seeing those lines on the opk sticks come up.
Hello to everyone else, and hope you are all ov'ing and bd'ing like crazy.
Af has gone now, but so has dh - off camping, so no sex for me then! Glad it is a bit cooler.
Need to run, dad keeps popping his head around the door and I have to keep clicking to another screen. It has take me hours to type this post!!

jomax · 28/07/2006 11:01

morning mamas in waiting.

quick question. was out with another TTC last night and heard that soy milk is evil for TTCing.

with my luck, i have switched to soy milk 2 weeks ago (while I was oving) and since I am watching paint dry until i can test next Saturday thought I would ask if anyone had any info on soy and its effects?

Beccy1974 · 28/07/2006 11:05

bloody hope not!!! god after not making it to gym and basically having the odd drink and odd ciggie i thought at least my soya milk is healthy.

god!!!
