okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

bubblez · 26/07/2006 21:31

Hello all,

How is everyone feeling this evening??

I went and burnt my arm on the oven today. Don't know what is wrong with me first falling in the shower and then buning myself, I'm turning into such a cluts!

Andi I'm on cd24 today and counting..

andi0411 · 26/07/2006 21:34

Hi - I tested yesterday- faint pos still. My advice is do what makes you happy/ content. As d2bm said- everyone's diff and although we listen to each other ..our exoeriences will not be the same.
D2bm where are you at now?

trace2 · 26/07/2006 21:37

i love this thread we can talk about any thing and not feel silly

andi0411 · 26/07/2006 21:55

Hi Bubblez- hw are you feeling on cd24?

bubblez · 26/07/2006 21:59

Extreemly bloated, windy, tired and I have sore, heavy boobs and cramping in the pelvic area.... How are you feeling on day 22?

muminamini · 26/07/2006 22:02

Well ladies...the fan is bought
Lets hope I can be bothered later. Don't much feel like it I have to admit as just spent some of the evening with my neighbour who lost her baby last week. The funeral is tomorrow and I am dreading it to be honest. It's all just so desperatley sad - also very angry as the hospital messed up and gave them photo graphs of the wrong baby - you just can't believe that things like that are not checked, double checked and triple checked before they happen. It was so difficult - didn't feel like I said anything of use at all to her but we did manage some normal mundane conversation so I hope that may have helped her a little bit.

I hadn't been able to buy a card up till now as it all felt so pointless and nothing seemed right...but I found a card today with a picture of an old man and child waling into a mountain holding hands and it said
'Parents hold their child's hand for a few moments but have their heart for a lifetime'
I thought it was lovley.

They are going for a holiday after tomorrow and we are looking after their Boxer dog so that has cheered me up as they are my fave dog and we had one ourselves up to a year ago.

Sorry - not ttc related but nice to be able to talk about it - I hope you all don't mind it has been a sad week but chatting on here and reading about all the BFP's we have had has really cheered me up.
x

coggy · 26/07/2006 22:22

MIAM - what a nightmare about the photos
The little things are SO important when your child dies and that is a rather major cock-up!!
How dreadful for them.

I bet they really appreciate you being able to help with the dog and other practicalities.
If they are anything like my dh and I, we wanted to talk about the mundane and normal things of life - it stopped us felling like freaks that everybody's talking about!!

That card sounds perfect and I hope that it all goes okay tomorrow.
I shall be thinking of you and them.
X

coggy · 26/07/2006 22:22

Oh...and hurrah for the fan!!!
We have one now too!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 26/07/2006 22:33

Hi ladies, hope you are all well.
How awful about the mess up with the photo's MIAM; how very distressing.
Not much to report here. CD5 and staying with my parents for a few nights whilst walls are being knocked down in our house.
Anyone started drinking Bacardi Breezers?!

muminamini · 26/07/2006 22:38

Thanks Coggy
Thats exactly what we have tried to do. Up until tonight we had only corresponded by Messenger and Text since it happened as we wanted to give them space but let them know we were here but tonight when she asked me to have the dog I just didn't even think about it and went to the door, I am so glad I did it now and it was nice to be able to know that I will be able to be 'normal' with them - you don't know what 'normal' is in this situation as I know you know.

I was so so about the photo's too..unbelievable - oh and as well the hospitals only 2 bereavement counsellors are both on holiday apparently...god even in my job as a Doctors receptionist you can't have 2 people that do the same thing away at the same time!
Muppets
Sorry - rant programme terminating now

Glad you have your fan...still no ewcm even though at day 12 I should be in the throws of ovulation never mind will do some bd'ing anyway.

Hope the fan works for you...I intend on only having a sticky bum tonight for the right reasons

sorry lol

andi0411 · 26/07/2006 22:53

Bubblez- sorry for the delay in answering - similar symptons to you- nit bloated , tired and a bit sickly. Nice.

desperate2bmum · 27/07/2006 05:38

Natty1806 · 27/07/2006 07:37

Hope today goes well MIAM (if you know what i mean)

Looks like we all have fans now, so no excuses.

Am on CD2 so no bding for me yet.

looks like we may well have a few BFP in a week or so.

I loved it the other day with three in one day it was so exciting.

jomax · 27/07/2006 09:37

Trace

So sorry to hear of your recent MC. After mine in May, I bled for a week straight but ovulated 12 days later and got my period 14 days later. I didnt get pregs though - to be honest - it was almost too much to think about it as the whole thing is so upsetting.

I do know from my OBGYN that you are more fertile in the 3-4 cycles post a MC. He gave me an ultrasound which showed me all my eggs and he basically predicted when I would ovulate. Its so crazy what doctors can tell you and how exact they can be. It was comforting to see all those " eggs in waiting." If you can go see a specialist for that purpose alone, I would go for it (but then again I tend to be on the medically neurotic side!)

When you MC, your whole body can kind of "reset" itself time table wise so just let your body sort itself out, as annoying as that can be!

jomax · 27/07/2006 09:38

newbie ?

what is EWCM?

Natty1806 · 27/07/2006 09:45

egg white cervical mucus

trace2 · 27/07/2006 10:10

jomax, thanks for the info, i too bleed very heavy for a week very clotty too, and usaly on 2 .5 days of af, i do see a gyny i am on clomid 50 mg, on my 4th cycle now. funnily thought i have 21 day bloods to see if i am ovulating, but upto now they say ive not! but yet i still got pg, oh and welcome

coggy · 27/07/2006 11:18

Desperate - wher abouts in Devon are you going? [nosey emoticon] !!

Natty - my package has just arrived - thank you.
It made me LOL as the postman (who I know well) wanted to know who coggy was and why etc. etc. !!!!
I also smiled when the preseed fell out as I can imafgine it being sent all over the country to different MNers!!!

Trace - how are you really feeling today?

MIAM - I hope you got your sticky bottom last night!!! Not a chance for me as DH went out with his mates and came back ill!!!
Why do they do it??!!!

Natty1806 · 27/07/2006 11:24

Hi coggy

Glad it arrived, hope you weren't too by the postman asking 20 questions.

What day you on? Will the preseed be being used soon?

x

coggy · 27/07/2006 11:35

No...I just laughed....it made me smile....

CD13 I believe today so if DH stops being ill from his night out it may be used later!!!

Probably tomorrow though!!

Sexonlegs · 27/07/2006 12:29

Morning all. Coggy, lol about the delivery of your package! How exciting.
So, dh is in the dog house then is he?! I hate it when dh drinks too much, esp at the vital times of the month. I worry his sperm are going to be useless!!
Nothing to report from here. af on her way out so can get back to business. We are going to try preseed this cycle and see what happens. Need to get on with the old grapefruit juice. Dh did start taking zinc and selenium, but it started to give him a dodgy stomach. Has anyone else's dp/dh had that problem?
Must run...x

bubblez · 27/07/2006 13:42

Hello ladies,

How is everyone today?

Just thought I'd post before I go and try to nap. Had a rotten night last night, tossing and turning, getting up to go wee, one min hot, the next cold, oh and the crampings. Feel like I have been up all night. Hopefully dd will fall asleep soon and then I might be able to catch up on a few zzzzz's.

Good luck to all you preseeders hope that it works!! My cousin's dp has a low sperm count their apt is in a few months, so I've been passing on all the usefull advice that I have gleened from this thread in the hope that they fall before their apt.

How is everyone today then?

MrsMcJnr · 27/07/2006 13:55

Hello! Goodness me SOL, I need to hear about all these things you are doing! How much alchol can ruin DH's sperm? What does DH taking zinc and selenium do? Thanks!

desperate2bmum · 27/07/2006 14:08
