okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

Morning ladies

Bellie - glad DH's legs are better.

Hi Andi, I really hope it's a posative month for you too - and everyone of course.

Slight problem here - just too hot and can't be a*sed to BD!
Just could not get in the mood last night and gave myself a reality check and just thought - I don't want this to become like something we have to do....but if you don't BD you don't get babies sigh. Need to buy a fan...I ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs it was so hot - was cooler but had horrible bottom sticking to the leather sensation all night....v tired today as a result.

Also woken at about 5 am by very crampy period like pains. I remember getting them last month as well around this time so think I am about to ovulate...no ewcm yet tho.

Just want to reiterate good wishes to Pussa cat momma and her sister - makes me realise that some people have an awful lot of a rougher ride than others and makes me count my blessings and get my own feelings into perspective a bit too.

Natty - bummer re AF but I suppose as others have said it's good you have a date for going to your appointment.

Also welcome Andi and any other new people.

SOL - was cleaning my drink cupboard out yesterday and right at the back was a solitary Bacardi Breezer (Cranberry tho!)- I shall have to keep it for a special occassion ;-)

bubblez · 26/07/2006 09:42

Hello ladies,

WOW Becky I'm impressed by your determination to hold off testing till day31!! I am so desperately trying to avoid all shops with hpts in as I can't trust that I won't buy one (and when I buy one I know that I'll use it that day). About cm, I know that I got my EWCM on the 16th and that I'm not dry even today, but I don't think that I ever have dry days (sos for tmi).

Good luck to andi, wannabe, pcm and natty I know that the next few days are going to be testers for you all. Positive vibes going out to all of you...

How is everyone btw?? Any news??

My bloating, pains, wind etc is still here day 6 of feeling shite. Getting more and more convinced that it is dreaded af telling me that she is coming to get me!!

How is everyone else?

bubblez · 26/07/2006 09:44

Hello MIAM sorry xposted with you. Where abouts are you? Tescos are doing some pretty cheap fans at £13 for stand up and £6 for desk fans.

coggy · 26/07/2006 09:55

Natty - sorry to hear that AF has come. Although I guess you will be relieved about it arriving before your appointment!

MIAM - LOL at your sticky bottom (!!!) and your discovery of that bicardi breezer!
I think SOL may have started a sudden rise in the bicardi sales this month!!!!

muminamini · 26/07/2006 10:22

Bubblez - thanks for that - I shall deffo get one this afternoon - it was absolutley unbearable last night.

The heat that is...not my DH (Honest)

muminamini · 26/07/2006 10:23

Yeah Coggy....sticky bottom if you do BD, sticky bottom if you don't at the moment!!!

Natty1806 · 26/07/2006 10:24

Yeah glad af has arrived, slightly strange though as no real warning, yesterday when i wiped it was bright red, then a little bit later on but not much, whereas normally i have spotting the day before. but have started properly today sorry if TMI, it doesn't seem as painfull as it normally is which is very weird. Not complaining though.

Good luck to everyone else.

What Cd you on today coggy? Did you get my package?

wright4845 · 26/07/2006 13:34

Thanks for all your well wishes guys. Been away to see my parents so thats why not been back since breaking news. If life is kind, i should be due in march/april. Have midwife appt week on fri to try and get idea about dates so edd should be clearer then.
Please don't loose hope guys sometimes life can be funny and it can happen when you least expect it. Was so convinced i wan't ovulating I had given up bding (poor dh)and was just waiting for af so could start cycle again. Was at wedding on Sunday and ate pate, shell fish and blue cheese and had lots of gin and tonic i was that sure i wasn't pg! Had no symptoms whatsoever and still don't except aching af pains which doc said could be my bits getting used to their new friend (my words obviously- can't remember medical jargon!). When i'm brave enough, i'll move to antenatal thread unitl then I'll be watching here waiting for all those bfp's. Keep me in your thoughts and you'll all be in mine.

jomax · 26/07/2006 14:52

good luck with the hubby birthday ov cycle! mine did to this month and i hope that beer and wine made the trip alot easier for those little guys to move. my dr said drinking wasnt a deterrent to getting pregs but i have to say that with this heat we have have been on a bit of a vino tear...have dried up now that I am waiting for the potential BFP. If I ov on day 18, what is the soonest I can test? Before I had my m/c in May, I waited 14 days but I dont think I can wait that long! watching paint dry. i turn 33 in september and will be so bummed if there isnt a bun in the oven.

jomax · 26/07/2006 15:02

Mumi - i totally hear you not in the mood in this heat. can you incorporate ice into the regime? I swear the week i know I am on high alert for OV every physical interaction with DH is kind of awful and forced and mechanical. After trying for almost 9 months, i dont see it getting any better!

coggy · 26/07/2006 18:51

Wrighty - nice post You will be in our thoughts for a good sticky nine months of course.

Natty - I'm CD12 and told my dh that I was getting seriously 'down to it' this month. Think I scared him as he is off out with his mates tonight!!
No package today....it'll probably come tomorrow.
I feel all secretive.......!!!

andi0411 · 26/07/2006 19:07

Hi ladies hope everyone is well.
Jomax I turn 34 in Nov and can feel that clock- tick tock. Don't they say wait 10- 11 days aft ov to test- as a minimum guide...I know it's so bad waiting/ hoping. But testing too soon such a drag too.
Well cd22....pg or not- who knows when the tests have been saying bl+++y pg for 7 weeks???????
CONGRATS to Wrighty- fab news!!
Bubblez -what cd are you- I'm a bit windy poops today and a bit bloated too/ no boob tenderness though- had alot ofthat with last pg!
x

coggy · 26/07/2006 19:42

Andi - I can't believe that you are having all this uncertaincy. How awful for you.

How do you feel?

peachygirl · 26/07/2006 19:47

wannabe I just read your post I really hope the news won't be too bad. there is quite a lot the can do for sperm, think about Hopecats DH.
Pussycat, really sorry to hear your possible news too but there are lots of women on her who have conceived with PCOS and at least if you can get a definitive answer you will know what treatment you need to move forward.
Trace, good to see you back

andi0411 · 26/07/2006 19:57

Hi Coggy, I feel ok. Really to be honest I'm just hoping I'm pg and that af won't come- due cd28-31. I'm hoping there was pg hormone left over but that I then conceived again...I've been reading all i can about how super fertile we are aft m/c. It took me 3 yrs the first time!!!
How's about yourself? Whats happening?

coggy · 26/07/2006 20:00

It's such an effort isn't it??!!
It took us nearly 5 years ttc our ds!!

I REALLY hope you are pg Andi - that would be fab. Especially without all the ttc stress as well after what you have been thro.

trace2 · 26/07/2006 20:13

coggy · 26/07/2006 20:41

Be assertive tomorrow if you are rough again!!!

trace2 · 26/07/2006 20:55

have to posted on thread to her?

andi0411 · 26/07/2006 21:12

HI GIRLS- TRACE i'VE READ SO MUCH ABOUT FERTILITY AND OFTEN IT CONTRADICTS S'THING ELSE I MAY HAVE READ- BUT MY OWN GP SAID THAT WOMEN ARE MORE FERTILE POST PG OF ANY KIND...M/C OR FULL TERM. IT GIVES ME HOPE FOR THIS CURRENT MESS i'M IN.
I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON, IT'S SO LOUSY POST M/C- WITH THE GRIEF AND THEN TRYING TO MOVE ON TTC ETC...MT THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU.
DAMN- SORRY ABOUT CAPS- I CAN'T TYPE AND CHECK SCREEN AT THE SAME TIME.LOL.

trace2 · 26/07/2006 21:14
