okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

Sounds like it is finally sinking in for you. EDD?

Yeah stick around. Congrats again

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 18:57

Congratulations Bobblehead, amazing news and keeps us all positive!

Yeah thanks Bubblez I guess it is me next but you'll have to wait till Wednesday for that! I don't know if I can though

I used to burp solid for three days after OV and I have the same tiredness and bloated, had to have another afternoon snooze today!. But still not sure to be honest and I keep coughing from my cold and it pulls my lower stomach so I'm not sure anything could survive with this.

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 19:09

Oh Bobblehead , fantastic news hun bun! I am sooooo happy for you!!! And a bit jealous!!
Wishing you all the best of luck, and keep posting on here so we know what is happening.
Welcome Jomanx - to a lovely friendly and supportive thead - often known to be downright filthy!!

bobblehead · 24/07/2006 19:14

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Nikki

Was so sure it was going to be you this month SOL, maybe next month

Think EED will be beginning April. I used an online calender that gave March 27th but that was based on 28d cycle and my last one was 35, so I assume a week later? Maybe I'll get to start a due in April thread...hope all you ladies will be joining me!

Another vote for doggy style followed by legs in the air here! Also just spent lots of money on EPO, zinc and selenium but I really don't care

ShowOfHands · 24/07/2006 19:28

Oh Bobblehead I am so pleased for you.

I really do wish you the happiest and healthiest pregnancy.

desperate2bmum · 24/07/2006 19:46

trace2 · 24/07/2006 21:01

wow Bobblehead , congrats it might be 1st april my birthday

ShowOfHands how are you?

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 21:04

SOH, how are you doing? Lovely to see you back on MN. x

ShowOfHands · 24/07/2006 21:23

Hi Sexonlegs and trace2.

Thank you for the welcome back, it's good to come back and see such lovely news from Bobblehead and good to hear you're back too trace. I am glad you're feeling so positive and I'm hoping for a +ve August for you. Ditto, SOL now that af has stopped dithering about you at least know where you are.

I'm feeling so much better than I have done, physically and emotionally. DH has been a rock, supplying me with icecream and DVDs, doing all the housework tolerably well and this morning he was even eyeing the iron with intent. He left me a note today asking if I want to make a baby this weekend and it made me really as he seems to have finally worked out when I ovulate. Granted we'll be camping in the middle of the field, but he's catching on.

I'm not sure if I'm officially on this thread now, but I'll keep popping in and no doubt won't be able to leave again. In fact, I'll post next week on the logistics of ttc in a two man tent during a heatwave. Interestingly enough (and I'm that I know this), both DH and myself were conceived in tents.

Anyway, it's good to be back...

muminamini · 24/07/2006 21:36

GO Bobblehead!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FANTASTIC BLOODY NEWS MATEY!
That has made my day - especially ater wasting precious minutes of my day reading that cod woman - TRIPE more like! he he They obviously have nothing better to do.. I have never really been on another thread - can't keep up with one let alone any others! Can I ask tho - am I missing ot on a place where you all chat in real time or do you just message some people privatley? Just wondered if I was missing out or was just slow with the posts!

Trace - fab to have you back hun and you and I are cycle buddies this month as I am on CD 10 today too (have BD'd twice already - one doggy with legs akimbo after too......very tricky the flip over tho isn't it!!! sorry TMI)

Bubblez - hope your not too sore after your fall.

Deperate 2 b mum - enjoy those lazy days in bed cos god I was jelous when I read your post - not done that since the arrival of DS .

Nicki10 - I was just like you last month and I don't know why I am telling you not to test cos I know it's impossibe but try and hold out cos if it's BFN it may not be really and will save you the disappointment.

Hi to Jomax and Bellie and welcome - Trace2 you took the words right out of my mouth - if your a woman on a mission DH is not the one that needs to do the moving...if his legs are painful just remind him it's only fair given the pain you will go thru in labour surely he can grin and bear a bit of pain whilst ttc!

bobblehead · 24/07/2006 21:48

Thanks again for all the congrats everyone, its still not really sunk in yet, but I'm sooo happy!

Glad to see you back SOH, I'm very impressed with your dh! Mine would certainly never remember when I was ovulating and there is no way I'd catch him eyeballing piles of washing!

MIAM if you're missing out I am too as I've not posted anywhere else (or privately, let 'em all hear tmi!!!!)

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 21:54

SOH, fancy you and dh both being conceived in a tent. What are the odds on that eh! Really pleased to hear that you are feeling well and positive. Your dh sounds like he is doing a grand job.

Af is plodding along - CD3 today I believe, so through the worst of it, and looking forward to getting on the case again.

Hi MIAM, glad to see you again and love the detail about doggy style. It really does eem to be the way to go.
I think dd was conceived by me sitting on dh's lap - well, not just sitting on his lap - you get me! So must be something about the man being behind that does the job. Sorry, cannot believe I have just typed all that!!

Piffle · 24/07/2006 21:56

Bobble !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to you!!!
I also was just like you, tested so early with internet strip tests, got liens thuoght they are very pretty evaporation lines... Started thinking after the frst 8 tests... not usual to get evaps on ALL tests.
So... bought a first reponse
Lovely pink line!
Well done to you, it is rock and ahrd place finding out early though as you worry worry until your af date passes, then you still worry afterwards
I cannot wait until I can relax, although i have no idea when that will be!!!

bobblehead · 24/07/2006 22:02

Those internet tests may be cheap but we just do more of them to make up for it! I don't know why I feel the need to do an expensive one too but I do and even then I probably won't be satisfied!
Think I am just enjoying seeing a bfp so much I want to keep getting them

ShowOfHands · 24/07/2006 22:03

SOL, on a chair?!?! I'm ed and horrified. What's wrong with lights off and jolly well getting on with it? Think of Britain and none of this enjoying yourself malarkey?

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 22:53

Yup, on a chair in a hotel room looking out of the window at the sea, whilst drinking an orange Bacardi Breezer!!

Natty1806 · 25/07/2006 07:26

PMSL

the thinks i miss out on in the evening. x

Nicki10 · 25/07/2006 08:04

Oh my god I told myself I wouldn't until tomorrow but I did today with Sainsburys and it's bloody faint nd wishy washy but there's defineatly a line there. Do you think a wishy washy incredible faint line counts? If it was on a unit you'd bairly see it?

Shaky nd DP is away until tomorrow so can't tell him

Beccy1974 · 25/07/2006 08:09

nicki nicki

brill --- a line is a lion etc :-)

how many days post ov are you again?

fab news to start the day

OP posts:
Nicki10 · 25/07/2006 08:16

13dpo but my new worry is that I have been feelings moving around and stretching and then last night I did a giant cough with my bllody cold had a stab of pain and I haven't felt anything since so I don't know whether i've pulled it and it's gone and this is just left over hormone. Oh I don't know just very panicy and can't test till tomorrow morning now. Do you reckon this could happen?

muminamini · 25/07/2006 08:16

oooh nicky that sounds pretty good news. In my mind I've never had any kind of line that i could even think may be a BFP so it sounds v promising - look what just happened to Bobblehead

If I was you I'd be straight to the chemist to buy a Clearblue digital for tomorrow (but would end up being too impatient and would do it straight away!)

Do you know - I was so not tuned into ttc last time with DS I have no idea the exact day he was conceived but it was probably a SOH lie back and think of England style affair - not at all as memorable as yours SOL!

Makes me think I should think of a really memorable place to do it should I get any EWCM some time soon! lol....don't think we could manage it in my mini?!!! he he

Good job DS cannot read isn't it as he is playing with his trucks round my feet as I type!lol

Day off today so will keep popping back on to see if anyone is about (Nicky - DO IT DO IT)

Sorry being very irreponsible I know to encourage early testing but I'm EXCITED!!!!

muminamini · 25/07/2006 08:19

Nicky - try and not worry petal, some people go through the most horrendous illness and all kinds and still manage to remain PG (that amazing Abigal Witchells fromt he news springs to mind).

Just stay posative and concentrate on feeling well and test again when your ready - I feel really bad for being so flippant before now
x

Beccy1974 · 25/07/2006 08:20

i would have thought that an early pregnancy would be okay after a giant cough.. are you not testing again today so that you get the early morning wee tomorrow? i read that you can hold off going for four hours or so and it is as concentrated..

OP posts:
muminamini · 25/07/2006 08:22

Becky - your as bad as me he he

I never thought when I joined I would be so excited for other people to get a BFP...

Nicki - I have all fingers, toes and eyes crossed

Bellie · 25/07/2006 08:23

oohh fingers crossed Nicki - sounds like a BFP!
