okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

BECKY I TESTED 9DPO AND GOT MY BFP, OOPS SORRY FOR CAPS, i was day 24 of a day 26 cycle so yes it depends on ovulation

Bellie · 24/07/2006 13:48

so bad that the grazes etc are still weeping - although i think some of the issue is the old age and the fact that his legs cant take it anymore

Wow i'm going through real hot flushes at the moment, I fear AF is on her way as I always get hot before she arrives.

bubblez · 24/07/2006 14:03

What does dpo mean?

Natty1806 · 24/07/2006 14:16

Hi Bubblez, just read your link, i was put in my place by a few others on mn before for stating my opionion and it got a bit heated.

If they actually read these posts, then they would see that we always tell people to test especially if they are late, i think it just gives us a bit of hope talking about it with other people, but like they said it was only a jokey thread so try not to let it upset you.

Best just to stick around here on these threads as we know each other so well nowadays.

Bad news about the Bding Bellie. Poor DH/P

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 14:27

days past ovulation

MrsMcJnr · 24/07/2006 16:09

I am so glad I have popped back to see what is going on here, this thread is on fire and I am lost with all the mini- threads in it!

Great to know there are so many out there thinking similar things to me, it's fab as I don't feel I can talk to anyone else other than my MN pals about these things! I have learnt so much in the last 3 weeks!

Bubblez, I can see why you are upset. Every chat room I have ever been on has some who make you feel bad, just ignore them and stick with us.

Pendulum, thanks for making me feel better I was on the pill for so long (18 years) that I think my body has forgtten what it is meant to do when!

Trace2 - don't know why I am aching. I sometimes get aches in my legs when AF is visting, hereditary varicose veins but not all over. Just shattered I think, must be the heat. Not really a moany groany - sorry!

bobblehead · 24/07/2006 16:36

Its been busy on here today, I can hardly keep up!
Good to see you back Trace
Nothing new from me I'm still holding out to test again. Sure I'm starting to feel some symptoms but I'm sure lots of us get them every month anyway!
The conception board is definately the least scarey place in MN, everyone is so nice over here!

bubblez · 24/07/2006 17:24

Yep I def think that I will stick to the safe threads from now on.

Bobble have you done a first response test? I know that you have done some early pregnancy tests I was just wondering what they were called and if first response is any good.

jomax · 24/07/2006 17:38

I am a newbie to MN and wanted to ask if I am in the right place/thread?

I am TTC for 8 months, had an MC in April at 6 weeks , and we are back in the saddle hoping for good news in August...

bobblehead · 24/07/2006 17:46

Welcome Jomax sorry to hear of your miscarraige, I hope you get good news this month. Lots of lovely people on this thread to share things with

Bubblez I haven't tried any "proper" tests yet, though my internet cheapies say they can be used 6dpo ( surely not many can get a positive that early!). I've used them before and never had an evap line, plus it is coming up within the 5 mins, just v faint. I'm sure its positive, but just scared as its so early and also very disbelieving as I really didn't think I'd ov this month! However will buy FR or clearblue tomorrow to use first wee on Wed. Quite fancy one of those ones that say PREGNANT though I'd be so gutted if it said NOT PREGNANT. So much more harsh than just one line!!

Sorry for being too lazy to read back but where are you in your cycle just now? Any signs?

bubblez · 24/07/2006 17:57

Welcome Jomax sympathies on your m/c but your definately in the right pace now.

I'm on CD22 of a 28-30 day cycle. (last month was 28day cycle) Sunday is the earliest that AF would be due on and Tuesday the lastest. Now I am considering getting a first response to take on sunday so even if AF wasn't due till tuesday I would still get a true result iyswim. Does sound though like you are prgers.

I have a bloated stomach, sore boobs, slightly nausious, the burps and am extreemly tired all the time. All I supose could be atributed to the onset of AF although I have had these feelings since Friday. How about you?

The thing is I hate to go by symptoms because they can just be phantom symptoms. I tried to see if there was anything else that it could be but I don't think that there is apart from either pgnancy or AF.

bobblehead · 24/07/2006 18:08

I am burping constantly, extremely tired, hungry all the time yet feeling slightly queasy at the same time. Generally feel fairly hungover tbh though haven't touched a drop since last week!
Have just weakened and done my last cheapy test and I would defo say BFP now!!!!! although line is still faint its very there now. Still a little hesitant about it all as its so early and feel the need to buy another test, but feel confidant I'm pg! can't believe it!

I used FR when I was 5 days late with dd (I mean af was 5 days late and I was pg with dd!) and it gave only a faint line so not sure if it would have worked with me before af was due. Or maybe I'm just a faint line kind of girl

Hope no one minds if I stick around here a little longer, don't feel brave enough or pregnant enough to leave yet!

bubblez · 24/07/2006 18:11

OH WOW!! Let me be the first to officially say CONGRATULATIONS!!

bobblehead · 24/07/2006 18:14

Thankyou! Really really can't believe it I am in so much shock!

Why is it when we test and its negative, you almost can't believe it and make all theses excuses about testing too soon, crap test, weak wee, etc. but then if its positive, the same thing happens - must be evap, bad test, hormonal problem! Think its some clever psychological effect tests have on us to keep making us spend money!

bubblez · 24/07/2006 18:14

I know what you mean about constantly testing I did 7 when I was pgnant with dd and the first came out neg. Oh do stick arround, I think I would be the same.

Are you the first August BFP?

Nicki, your turn next hun!

desperate2bmum · 24/07/2006 18:16

wow its been so busy on here today. its taken me about 30mins to read it all.
the posion thread..is bang out of order, some people are so insensitive. if they dont like the posts then dont read them and dont post a reply!! even if it was a jokey thread it wasnt a very funny one.
hiya jomax welcome to mn, you will get tonnes of support here..i have its been my haven after my m/c and now ttc.
cant wait to hear some bfps!!!
