Hi

Just thought as there was a thread for the older mums (there words not mine)Smile
that i would start one for the younger ones.

Think AF is on her way (fingers crossed) as i normally have 48-70 cycles this will be my first one at 34/35 days - yippee.

It probably won't happen now, anyway feel free to write away.

TTC 11 month - waiting for appoinment at fertlity clinic.

i have a dd who is nearly 2 and ds who is 6 weeksi and dp goes to me this morning, should we try for another one? i told him off! he said that ds will need a brother and i told him what if we end up having a girl, he said we'll try again!! what does he think i am a baby machine!!

Yeah MrsMcJnr Edinburgh is getting quieter DP is coming back today as well, so you'll have the city back to yourself soon .

Natty how are things with you? Have you started your clomid yet?

Thanks for your words of encouragement I have started bleeding quiet a lot again today . It's so annoying my EPU centre has closed down for 2 weeks as the sonographer has gone on holiday! Bloody NHS, so there's no earlier scans.

Wow poor you prettymum but it's nice your DP is so into the family thing.

so sorry nicki my fingers are well are truely crossed that everything works out well.

Still waiting for AF to arrive to start clomid, got appointment next week with gp to ask for a tablet that brings on period so i can start clomid.

clomid is a fertility drug and CD means cycle day.

Hey girls

Looks like i'm back with you I had a scan today and they said it is a retained miscarriage. I have to go in on Friday for a D+C operation.

They think the baby probably died at 5/6 weeks as you could not see a baby on the scan just an empty sac.

Not sure really how I feel some times I'm fine, sometimes I forget and say to DP when the babies gets here , and a few times i've just broken down, usually in inappropriate places like work.

So after the bleeding stops from the D+C I will be back here with you for another go!

So sorry nicki this must be horrible and am sure your feelings are perfectly normal.

Hope Friday goes as well as it can do in the circumstances.

I had a similar thing happen to me, I had scan at 10 weeks but found that the baby died at just five weeks. It's horrible to find out at a scan as it should be so exciting and happy.
Waiting for my D&C but then gonna try again as they say that you are full of fertility hormones straight after mc which must help further conception. Good luck xxxxxxx

Hi Girls

Well I'm back from the hospital I feel a bit tired and a bit whoozey. The D+C was a complete disaster and sine have been very teary.

They said they couldn't get anything out so they think the sac is still in there, they tried three different ways but there was still nothing. I am bleeding and in a bit of pain and just so upset that I'll have to go through it all again.

I have an appointment next Friday at the EPU for a scan and then next time they will do the op with an ultrasound for guidance.

Just feel really disappointed in my body, first it could keep the baby alive then it couldn't get rid of it on it's own and now it won't let anyone else take it out.

Have not been on here for ages.....

Am now 7 wks and has a scan last fri. Was stunned at how fast the little heart beats! Also lucky enough to get an internal scan... so glad dh was there as would not have agreed to it otherwise.

Think AF has finally well maybe arrived today so i think i am taking today as CD1 so will start clomid tomorrow.

Yeah it is good to finally have something new to focus on but not getting my hopes up. On CD3 and have been taking it the since yesterday and no side effects as yet.
