Hi

Just thought as there was a thread for the older mums (there words not mine)Smile
that i would start one for the younger ones.

Think AF is on her way (fingers crossed) as i normally have 48-70 cycles this will be my first one at 34/35 days - yippee.

It probably won't happen now, anyway feel free to write away.

TTC 11 month - waiting for appoinment at fertlity clinic.

Xavelli I read your post from ages ago about money, and its given me lots of confidence to know that you both managed on £200 a wk!!

WantAbabyNOW · 06/08/2006 03:51

Welcome Vix

Hey there Xav... havent seen you on here for a little while!

As far as finances go... unless you are loaded you will never feel like you have enough money. I think you learn to adapt and at the end of the day they are nto really that expensive!

Natty1806 · 06/08/2006 07:36

Welcome Vix

Hi X and wannabady, i am fine how are you? Have you set a wedding date yet X?

I always think i can't afford a baby but when i have a baby it will put a stop to certain things i do and therefore i should save money from them and spend them on the baby. Also DP goes out a lot compared to me but that will all have to stop when baby arrives.

Anyway hope everyone is well, anyone heard from Nikki - i hope she is getting on okay.

Found out on of my best friends is pregnant so i am really hoping i get pregnant soon so we can go through some of it together.

Hi Everyone

How's it all going. I am still around haven't worked up the courage to move over yet due to all the worrying cramps and pains but have appointment on Wednesday so I'm hoping that will put my mind at ease.

I can't believe how nervous I am about everything, yesterday a woman pushed past me on the bus and knocked my stomach. Then the cramps started so I burst into tears thinking I was M/C. Poor DP doesn't know what to say to me!

Anyway Natty I was reading about you on August thread and I hope you manage to keep DH in all day today!

Natty1806 · 06/08/2006 08:51

Hi Nicki

Sorry to hear you are worring so much, let hope your mind is put to rest on Wednesday.

How far gone are you now?

Dp been out all night still not come home, think he has fallen asleep round a friends house so think he will be in my bad books today so no bding for me.

It will be 4 weeks since OV on monday and 6 weeks since last AF on Thursday! I like to hold out for both milestones!. My DP has just gone away on a stag weekend today so I have peace and quiet until Tuesday

Natty thats seems like the perfect time for BDing he'll have to now to make it up to you! And tell him he has to take you out for lunch too

Natty1806 · 06/08/2006 08:59

Not sure he is going to be in any fit state when he does arrive home, think i will go and meet a friend for lunch and a drink later.

Why are men such w@*#ers at times, i mean he is 26 and acts like he is 16!!!

Oh well, suppose that's life for ya.

6 weeks this week then that has gone really quickly only another 6 to go and you can really start to relax.

OP posts:
Nicki10 · 06/08/2006 09:04

Not that quickly because I din't find out until I was 4 weeks and the last 2 weeks seem to have past in slow motion! But we go to edinburgh on thursday so I'm hoping that will pass the time quicker.

I know what you mean Natty they can be really insensitive at times too not thinking about our BDing needs! I have to say though that DP has been amazing so far and he really didn't want to go to his stag weekend when he found out. I had to push him out the door!

Lunch sounds like a great idea (with a couple of glasses of wine too)

Natty1806 · 06/08/2006 09:10

Hope Edinburgh goes well and morning sickness does not kick in, are you staying in a tent or a hotel?

x

OP posts:
Nicki10 · 06/08/2006 09:18

Hotel but I know everyone will be questioning why i'm not drinking. So far I have used antibiotics and driving!.

I haven't really had any symptoms, I have been tired and weeing lots from the start and Tuesday sore boobs kicked in but no morning sickness yet. I don't know if this is just lucky or not a good sign!

Natty1806 · 06/08/2006 10:51

Am sure everthing is fine. x

Has DH arrived home yet?!

Natty1806 · 06/08/2006 16:09

Yeah he got home at 9.30am, been out visting friends and family so a nice relaxing day rather than doing the ironing as planned.

OP posts:
Xavielli · 06/08/2006 17:05

Glad you guys are all ok.

Nicki10, Stop looking for bad signs in everything! I didn't get morning sickness with either of mine... did feel asthough I had eaten paper sometimes though. pains are normal unless they are crippling. I'm sure when you go see the MW/sonographer your mind will be put at rest anyway.

Nicki10 · 06/08/2006 18:57

I think I will be then too.

Natty your day sounds lovely, so is DH out of your bad books then?! Back to BDing tonight then

How are you getting on Xavielli?

There's nothing in for dinner and as DP is away on stag do I thought I'd be cheeky and get chips, went to local one it was shut, so I walked to the one further away and that ones shut too! So now it looks like pasta for me!

WantAbabyNOW · 07/08/2006 10:43

Hi all,

I hope you have been getting real busy Natty!

I had an appoint with my gp today. Had first ever smear test and was suprised how awful it was! I know there will be worse to come but gosh!! I am also bleeding lightly which I did not think would happen. The lovely lady even provided me with an internal! I dont recall asking for that though. She says ovaries seem fine. Did not realise you could touch them from down there!

Back to specialist tomorrow. Bit unsure what will happen.

Have tonnes of homework to mark tonight though so I should probably worry about that first.

On the side, I think maybe I did ovulate due to the pain I had, some ferning patterns and also temp has been rising. Spoke to gp and she seems to think this is possible. Fingers crossed. If did ov then dh and I have been bd like crazy so we may just get there! One can only hope.

Hope you are all feeling positive. I know most days its hard to do when you want something so desperately and it is out of your control.

Will try to come back once have finished my huge pile of marking.

Nicki10 · 07/08/2006 11:12

Gosh I'm sorry to hear how awful your smear was wannaababy. It's good that your GP says ovaries are in good order and that you could have OV'd. Fingers crossed for you that this is your leucky month would love more BFP's to come over with me.

How is everyone else today?

MrsMcJnr · 07/08/2006 11:45

Wantababynow - Poor you and I can empathise as I have had some really sore ones that have bled too. It is so much better when they use a brush instead of a spatula (medical name?) but the whole experience is horrible and you do feel violated don't you? Sure ante natal care is much worse though!

Morning everyone!

mummytotaly · 07/08/2006 19:05

Hi! I'm 24, married with a 3yr old daughter and have been trying to conceive for 8 months now. My husband and I decided that we did not want to have our lives focused around it though and that if it happened it happended. Lots of my daughters friends are due any day now and my daughter keeps asking for a sister. I am getting more and more desperate but then have to remind myself that I am lucky to have just the one as some people are n't even that fortunate!!

nadinetd · 08/08/2006 13:06

Hey girls!

How are you all doing? Natty, any news on the prescription/appointment front?

Thinking of you all.

Natty1806 · 11/08/2006 08:03

Morning X

Had a letter on wednesday which was a copy of what clinic has sent to GP, though the gp would hae rung me but no call yet so i am going to make an appointment on Monday to pop in and see him and then will give you next update.
