Morning everyone!

So sorry for those not feeling very good. Big hugs and Wineall round!

Geta - really sorry to hear about your scan and the cysts. I don't know much about this but did they offer you any advice or suggestions about next steps? I really hope having them doesn't affect your chances.

Fed up - hope AF doesn't show up and the cramps are stretching pains.

Stone - 10 dpo you must be out of your mind! It is possible to miss a period tough so definitely try some opks and see what's happening.

I'm in the middle of smep. Well a sort of version of it. Started on day 9 and DTD yesterday (day11) and actually plan to try every night now up to ovulation (which will hopefully be day 15) and then a night or two after. Dh is up for it (more than I am!) so keep your fingers crossed we make it! Have got him on the vitamins now too - I know it takes 3 months to have any effect but worth starting now.

fedupofrainydays · 31/07/2013 15:10

Knicker watch update. Spotting :( :( :(

StoneBaby · 31/07/2013 16:38

Oh fedup Sad

Got the opk now and will start testing tomorrow. Went to gp who's now refering me to gyneaco/ fertility clinic can't wait to tell DH he may need to give a sample

misshoohaa · 31/07/2013 19:39

Sorry to hear AF has turned up fedup, that's rubbish. Get out a glass bottle of Wine always helps ease the pain just a teeny tiny bit.

Stone, what OPK did you get? I'm seriously miffed that you can't buy the clear blue digital replacement sticks (the smiley face one), I'm 2 days into testing and freaking out that I'm going to use all of the sticks before I get a smiley face and will have spend another £25 quid on a new one!

I just bought preseed on amazon, read a few reviews about BFP's the month after using it so hoping the magic will wear off. Even though I know there is no actual evidence attributed to it helping conception.

I shall certainly try and pass on the tips if my DH ever gets round to helping me. He uses mindfullness and guided imagery a lot and actually imagery helped me go into labour with DS (well I think so anyway!) Anyway apparently there is lots of research showing these techniques help with infertility. I'm keen to test it if he'd just bloody get home!
I shall offer out his services for free, we can be his guinea pig group! Wink

getagoldtoof · 31/07/2013 19:41

Fedup Sad - sorry to hear that. But could it be implantation? Clutching at straws is my speciality, so perhaps don't listen to me.

Good idea on opks Stone. My trusted thermometer gives me lots of clues ' - have you tried temping?

Piggy well done on smep. The very thought makes me fill with gloom - it's a lot of hard work and feels very formulaic. We did smep for the first time in june and it seems something took, obv didn't stick, but still it clearly works, if it's going to work.

Ninu so glad to hear about your nice strong line. That's great news.

shmuf · 31/07/2013 19:47

room for one more to join at this stage in the thread?!
been ttc #2 pretty much since #1 was born 13 months ago..
have spent an embarrasing amount of money on pregnancy tests, and seems to have turned into a favourite past time of mine to poas..
anyways, af only came back when lo was 10months, yet dont ask me why but i have this feeling somethings not quite sorted itself out yet, like im not yet ovulating.hope its just paranoia
so, good luck to us all i guess!

fedupofrainydays · 31/07/2013 20:01

I wanted to think that too geta as this cycle has been only 22 days for me (norm 26) but my luteal phase has been pretty much the same c 12-14 days as I ov'd early this month (or at least the smiley faces told me so)

Really really gutted. We tried everything including bloody cough medicine, SMEP, preseed, and rip off opks. Feeling poor and tired with nothing to show for it apart from blood stained knickers. Even DH has said he's gutted.

miss am off to find some booze and goats cheese and Nurophen for my hideous cramping.

getagoldtoof · 31/07/2013 20:14

Aww, fedup I'm sorry. I'm not surprised your dh is sad. You put in all of that effort, and it doesn't take. Enjoy your goats cheese, silver linings and all that.

Shmuf hey. You're obviously a complete nutter Wink, so you're right at home here. Are you breastfeeding at all? I feel like that may be making me a bit squewiff (sp?).

Dildoos I completely forgot to say massive congrats on the new job - it must be a relief for you, and a new opportunity can be the change we need for our bodies to get pregnant!

muzzy1 · 31/07/2013 22:26

fedup I'm so sad for you, you really did try everything but keep going as you will get there in the end I'm sure. This ttc lark is bloody hard. Big hug for you x

AbiBub · 01/08/2013 00:44

Hey ladies. Omgosh ive not posted since page 25, so sorry. Sad been so busy here, trying to get on with work from home and failing miserably and trying to get ds school stuff ready theres so much stuff and run a house/be a mum and then theres the added bonus of trying to look for housing and again failing miserably I have only just booked my docs appointment today for next wed!!

Fedup sorry to hear af has got you, although I am always hopeful that its ib. Yep my nuttiness knows no bounds!! Will you keep us updated?

Stone sad to hear that bfn I really thought it was your month too. Its good that the docs are looking at things a bit more now, let's hope that within that time you get a bfp. All fx here!

Ninu, 3rd one on this thread eh! Congratulations, how are you feeling?

Welcome all the new nutters!! Hopefully this will be a valuable thread to air your nuttiness without hesitation! !

Dildoos- congrats on the job the main thing is that we should feel happy in our jobs, which I wish you the very best in.

Muzzy not sure how I resisted the temptation, but just told myself I wasnt this month, and then got busy doing other things!

Im sure im missing a whole load of other posts that I want to reply to, but am on my phone just now so forgive me if I have missed anyone.

Did the tesco test thus morning which has a detection level of 25miu just to check that things should be progressing, that and I cant still believe im pg, the line came up straight away and was nice and thick. Boobs ache to buggery yep certainly didnt miss that and now im wondering whether I should gey a digital one that says how many weeks as it seems like ages to wait to see midwife as I have to wait for the doc im seeing nect week to refer me!! Then I have to hope they'll say yes to a dating scan. Currently struggling with insomnia too and worrying about my 34wk pg bestie who has ahigh risk pg. Sorry im now babbling on :0 ( at least thispost cpuld ssend you to sleep if you cant!!

Best shoot off and stop boring you all!

Biggest hugz to you all.

Smile
fedupofrainydays · 01/08/2013 07:54

Def not ib. It's full on af with killer cramps as well. Feeling pretty shitty but am sure I will pick up again next week for dtd action. 22 days really short for me though. I guess with ttc it makes it come around quicker each month but I can't help but worry. I think I'm going to try see doctor tomorrow or Monday.

Sounds like you are pretty busy abi and I think you can stop testing now Wink

Welcome to the mad house shmuf

BartBaby · 01/08/2013 08:22

Sorry af got you fedup Flowers have lots of Wine and chocolate and then you will feel better by dtd time next week. I know its no consolation but at least with shorter cycles you get more chances throughout the year.

hoohaa which clearblue digi's are you using? The one with the flashy smilies? I just used the ones with the empty circle for -ve. And then a solid smiley face for a +ve when the surge was detected. £17 off amazon for 10 sticks (normally just 7 sticks in the shops) and i just used the cheapy ones for the first few days, and then the clearblue ones when the lines started getting darker. It meant i didnt use as many of the more expensive ones and they lasted a couple of months.

piglet good luck with the smep.

shmuf welcome Smile have you tried the internet cheapy pg tests off amazon. You can get sensitive ones (10mlu) loads for under a fiver! Good if you have a poas habit like most of us on here. I just use cheapies and then only get the bug guns out if i think i have a +ve. Although i got my bfp this month on a superdrug one as i didnt have any amazon cheapies.

abi right there with you on the sore baps! Killer when ds elbows them. Are you having any other symptoms? My cramps have eased off. But felt quite sick today. And tired. Very very tired! I havent started on school stuff yet. I dont think ds needs anything more than a uniform for reception?! Well i hope not anyway!

AbiBub · 01/08/2013 09:12

Oh fedup that is pants about af, but I guess at least you do have more times to try. Is your lp still 14 days? They do say vitamin b6 helps to lengthens cycles, I dont know if that helps in the meantime enjoy the alcohol and chocs!!! I know I would!! Wink
Yep done 5 tests now so think im good!!

Hello bart!! Yep, the cramps have eased off, just a few twinges here and there but not painful! Yep baps are deffo achey, makes it feel more real now, that and the back ache, feeling tired and bowts of nausea, baby brain oh and a bit of thrush oh joy light headedness too. Im still looking forward to a possible dating scan which hopefully they can book as based on a normal 28cd I would be 6weeks sat, but none of my cycles have been the same length, they have range of 23-36 days! ! Ds school uniform I have to get from various places as on a budget, also I have the joy of labels at some point!

Hows everyone doing this sunny Thursday? Any nice plans? :0)

fedupofrainydays · 01/08/2013 09:49

My lp is 12-14 days. Varies slightly. And think this is ok? Think they say under 10 is a potential concern? And I'm not wanting longer cycles really, as would just prolong my waiting and pain. They have always been fairly short c 25 days but this was a v short one.

AbiBub · 01/08/2013 11:15

Yep that length of lp is absolutely fine in my book! I think you're right on that if its less than 10 then there may be issues, but yours is fine! Its good that you have short cycles without lp being reduced that means more opportunities to give it go!! Grin

Feeling reallt sleepy now, could quite easily nod off if I didnt have a four year old who I knew would be good if Idid nnod off! Should really be getting in with stuff but feel so tired! Must get on with things though! Hows everyone today?

BartBaby · 01/08/2013 12:48

Tired aswell abi Sad although i actually had a little burst of energy earlier and hoovered the downstairs and mopped the floors, and put some washing away. And thats all im doing for today! Really need to hoover upstairs aswell, but as our house is a 3 storey one, i dont think i could do all that right now!

OP posts:
AbiBub · 01/08/2013 14:23

I had the same earlier where I hoovered downstairs ha ha! Its too hot to do upstairs!! Got some other general cleaning done, and the energy spurt has run dry!! I feel like I could sleep for a week! ! Got financial forecast andother stuff to ssort now and im shattered!

Just got to keep going though and then hopefully I will be knackered enough to go to bed at a sensible time!!

Hows everyones day going?

2beornot · 01/08/2013 18:37

Hey ladies. On cd 12 now. So far have dtd on cd 7&9, so a little early. Sorry if tmi but DH had 'issues' last night. I think he's feeling a little pressured and he knows Fri-sun is the optimal time! I don't know what to do. I try to reassure that it doesn't matter, but of course in our heart of hearts we know it does!!

Please tell me I'm not the only one!!

BartBaby · 01/08/2013 20:03

2be your're not the only one! This last cycle we only managed one successful dtd within the 'window'. The other 2 times -tmi- he couldnt finish, not where we needed it anyway! But it worked! Grin

OP posts:
fedupofrainydays · 01/08/2013 21:23

Happened to us 2be when I overdid the preseed!

onelittlepiglet · 01/08/2013 21:32

Oh thank goodness - though my Dh might be the only one! Yes happened to us too....think it is the pressure. I try really hard just to let it go and not get annoyed - this just makes it worse....

I'm on cd13 - no sign of a positive opk yet which is annoying because I had my first one this day last month. Also only getting a really, really faint line on the opk whereas last month I was getting clear lines even when they were negative (not as strong as the control line) so I'm a bit worried.... Feel like I'm gearing up for ov though.

Also hope ov happens soon because not sure Dh is going to manage to keep DTD much longer!

muzzy1 · 01/08/2013 21:52

Spotting and friends unexpected pregnancy announcement all in one day! feel so Sad

fedupofrainydays · 01/08/2013 22:08

Oh muzzy :(

When is af due?
Hope you are ok and it sucks at the best of times when pregnancies are announced. Big big hugs.

My NCT friend due when I was posted on FB to say "only six weeks to go and counting". Felt sick with sadness when I read that.

Tmi alert. At work today I felt a bit of a rush down there and basically I had soaked through my super tampon, liner and knickers. I had to ask a colleague who was near some clothes shops to buy me some new pants on her way home. Very embarrassing. But what was that flood about? Never had that before

muzzy1 · 01/08/2013 22:17

Thanks fedup. AF not due till Sunday, I had this spotting from about four days before last month. Does anyone know if that's a bad thing? I'm feeling really shit as we did it twice on ov day so really had my hopes up.

Poor you, sounds really heavy! Was af this heavy before your mc? sorry I don't have anything more helpful to say.

fedupofrainydays · 01/08/2013 22:25

I don't have that but my friend does since her mc but not every month. Doctor seemed to imply it was hormonal and not to be worried about it. But she still is as you would imagine.

No, my periods always been light to normal so but freaked out by this one.
i want to go to docs for help but I don't know what I'm asking for?
