Sorry I can only deal with a few updates at a time lol but a huge welcome to you one little, sorry you are here under the circumstances but very glad of your company xx

dildoos · 02/07/2013 18:44

On a proud mummy moment dd in swimming lesson was learning to help someone drowning in deep water, such a valuable skill and keeps saying over and over how to help them.
Mummy you shout loud for help, throw underarm something that floats to them, you tell them hold on with two hands and kick your legs to the edge, you tell them hold on to the side, but mummy if they say help me out you say no help is on its way, do you know why mummy? It's so they can't pull you in too!

Arrrrrgggggghhhhh to cute!

Sorry just proud proud proud.

Xx

Ah sweet dildoos - he sounds like he will be an excellent rescuer!

fedup don't do it! I peed on 6 sticks before AF due and each bfn made me more depressed...

Welcome onelitle to the madness.

fedupofrainydays · 02/07/2013 19:14

Ok ok i haven't done it. Safely locked in the cupboard. Plus am away rest of this week so should be able to resist (she says) at least til the weekend

That's really cute about your daughter and no wonder you are proud! X

Ninunina · 02/07/2013 20:41

dildoos your dd sounds adorable. It's a very valuable skill to learn too.

Welcome to the nut house piglet. The only rule of the house is nuttiness Grin

Talking about nuttiness, since this morning I'm suddenly dreaming up a whole bunch of symptoms. .. maybe I'll cave and do a test before Saturday. Is 11dpo too early to test (especially since I've had no symptoms before this morning).

StoneBaby · 02/07/2013 21:33

piglet welcome. We're a bunch of butters so feel free to rant about dtd, opk,... with us

bart sorry af turn up

fedup good luck this month

Still haven't told told DH we could dtd on Thursday before he goes away. He know ov dayis next Tuesday tho. Still going to opk this month. Will I be the only one to use opk this month???

Tallalime · 02/07/2013 22:43

Hello all Grin

Welcome piglet - hope you won't be here too long, in the nicest possible way Wink

My cat baby came home -yay!! - of course the sod turned up mere hours after we'd stuck missing posters up everywhere, so poor DH had to retrace his steps taking them all down. Typical.

I went to the GP surgery on Friday and had my initial day 1/2 bloods done, now have to wait for 2nd test on cd21 but at least the ball is rolling. Also have to stare daggers at DH until he books his bloody appt too Angry

DD has her roll over day thing at school tomorrow so she is a yr 1 for the day. She is very excited, I just can't believe that reception has gone so quickly. It only seems five minutes since she was a toddler. She's decidedly teenage already Confused Where has my baby gone having said that I do hope that she keeps her clothes on more as a teenager

dildoos · 02/07/2013 22:47

Talla- our daughters are at the same stage now entering year 1, I feel your teenage pain and the lack of clothes although the lack of clothes betters the 9 month phase of swim suit and goggles ! Everywhere even spare clothes at nursery were swim suits!!!
GrinConfused

dildoos · 02/07/2013 22:48

Also what 1/2 bloods? I am about to have 21 days on the 12/7/13 is there more I should have? Xxx

Tallalime · 03/07/2013 12:46

Hi Dildoos

I had original 21 day bloods at one year ttc. Now we're 16 months ttc so I am having bloods done cd1/2 - testing hormone levels, thyroid etc, then they redo the cd21 bloods. I suppose it gives a clearer picture of levels over the entire cycle.

DH has to have a sperm function test too, once all the results are back we are referred to the fertility clinic. I am 33 so not sure if they're doing it all early for that reason Grin

fedupofrainydays · 03/07/2013 17:08

Another day, another pregnancy announcement. Just never my own Sad

muzzy2011 · 03/07/2013 17:44

Hi all
Ouch fedup was it someone you were expecting?

Well I'm feeling slightly unhinged and mental today, nearly burst into tears in superdrug when some old dear pushed in front of me in the queue. Still no BFP or AF and I feel like I'm getting flu but too scared to take ibuprofen even though I feel 0% pregnant. Sorry rant over.

dildoos · 03/07/2013 17:51

Fed up SadAngryHmm all at once that's just pants! X
Muzzy sorry your feeling it too Sad
Xx

fedupofrainydays · 03/07/2013 19:25

Quite true of emotions there dildo. I'm hoping soon i can numb to this pregnancy news rather than it hitting me over the head with a hammer like it is these days.

Yes and no muzzy. I knew she was trying and falls quickly. This is her third. but then I saw her a few weeks back and she lied to me saying she wasn't pregnant. I understand why she did really but also annoyed that she pretending she was still trying with me if you get what I mean. I feel a bit patronised and a bit stupid!! I thought we were good enough friends for her to tell me even if not at the 12 week point rather than pretend, as if she did have a mc I know she would have told me. Am I making any sense?

Sorry no af and no bfp either. Thats the worst form of bfn to deal with. Could you have ov'd late this month? Do you know how many dpo you are?

That old dear would have got a bit of a fright if you had cried! For some reason, old people think its their right to queue barge when really they can afford to hang about! Big hugs for you and a bfp comes up!

muzzy2011 · 03/07/2013 19:47

That sucks and yes it does make sense. I would feel the same.

I'm pretty sure I'm either 13 or 14dpo so I'm sure a test would show by now. I have a superdrug one for the morning so no doubt will be crying into my cornflakes by 7am!

dildoos · 03/07/2013 19:49

Fed up I know exactly what you mean! My last friend told me at 15 weeks and in mean time I had been through range of emotions so felt awkward?!
Sil said it early but decided to ask what appointments I had for my fertility first so again felt awkward as you feel vulnerable! Lucky both times told me on my own so didn't feel like 1000 eyes watching for my reaction which of course was an over the top wow congrats how exciting can't wait sort of affair ( covering the yoooooooouuuuu bitch! Expression Grin)
X

fedupofrainydays · 03/07/2013 20:09

Ah glad it's not just me. I find it upsetting when it's your close friends that haven't told you but worse 'pretended' with you / endeavoured to empathise when really they are holding a secret that they are already pregnant. Am sure none of this is deliberate but it's how it makes me feel.

Muzzy - I so hope it's bfp. But I do know people who have been 15 / 16 dpo til it's turn bfp. So fx for you. Particularly as watery cornflakes are pretty yuk Wink.

Sitting here watching sky plus'd million pound drop and getting VERY annoyed with Davina. Any one else find her this irritating? Even my rebellious bottle of beer isn't helping to ease the pain. At least I can fast forward her...!!

onelittlepiglet · 03/07/2013 20:35

I know how you feel - it feels like everyone I know of similar age to me is pregnant, about to give birth or has just given birth! I blame Facebook for making it worse seeing photos of everyone rubbing their bumps whereas normally I might not see some of them very often so it wouldn't be so annoying.

dildoos · 03/07/2013 20:36

Agreed cornflakes are not good soggy!
Fx muzzy and toes and legs and will plait my hair !
Fed up it must feel like they tricked into sharing your feelings that's so delicate at the mo!
No davina here watching come done with me Grin

Liquidambar · 03/07/2013 20:44

Hi ladies,

can I join you? not officially ttc yet but already nuts! I will have the coil removed soon but already using opks and monitoring - haven't managed to understand my cycles which are very irregular.

good luck to everyone

StoneBaby · 03/07/2013 21:26

fedup that's not on. But could she not have been aware until recently? (Sorry I'm trying to play the devil advocate)

muzzy fx

I'm starting opk tomorrow

fedupofrainydays · 03/07/2013 22:09

stone I thought that too initially but you don't 'not know' when you are trying and she would have been 8 weeks when i saw her. And looking back, i suppose I can see it now that she was.. Don't want to ask her about it over text so guess it will wait til I see her next.

Happy opk tomorrow - I miss POAS! I have til Tuesday to wait (or af rocks up)

fedupofrainydays · 04/07/2013 07:20

muzzy just checking in to see what state the cornflakes are in? I hope you are ok and there is a nice suprise with POAS this morning x
