You don't have to be crazy to be on this thread but it helps

(Ladies, I thought I would jump in and start a non-sweary titled fred. Feel free to turn the air blue now!)

AAAAaaaargh! I've just rung that number, Fish, and kicked-off Big Time....until the poor woman explained I had rung Reprofit Sad

I am at ReproGenesis.

Christ - I 'm so sorry having another search now. But is it worth asking that lady for a contact number? They are in the same town, same industry.

Isn't the embryoscope just like a time lapse photography thing, so the footage can be reviewed at any time?

Still shit that the coordinator is not answering, joos.

Tortie we'll have none of that failure talk please, missus. We are just a bit "fertility challenged", that's all.

Reprog have a facebook page - maybe worth posting there?

Im still searching...

Report
JuicySteak · 15/06/2013 12:28

Euro, yes, the embryoscope operates on a video time-lapse basis, but my gripe is that she explicitly (and gleefully) told us to expect a call/email every morning - "even on the weekend!"

Anyway, I have on my fake tan, my lovely silk polkadot dress and we are off to absolutely gorge on McDonald's. I've emailed the coordinator to tell her to ring me immediately, but I fear she'll only pick up her emails at work on Monday Angry

Fish, my love, please don't bother as we're off out and I won't be able to access mumsnet. Thank you so much for trying to help xx

Rachel, 39, TTC for 6 years. Only just really made up my mind that I want the little critters guess that's why we've not rushed until now Grin

Endo, LH ovary removed. RH ovary disappeared (buried under scar tissue).

Signed DE forms, had a scan, RH ovary appeared (got jealous of DEs).

First time on IVF, got NHS funding. EC on 5th June, transfer of 2 embs on the 8th.

DH's lads could swim for England.

P test on the 20th of June unless I go bloody insane before then.

Lifeasafish · 15/06/2013 12:34

I am so dreadfully sorry, that was a horrific faux pas even by my standards....

Mind you - thank fuck it wasn't' a local garage or something.

(tame Blush)

I cannot find a number... Will keep thinking of appropriate searches, but in the meantime I hope you have a good day out.

Tame you're not a big failure you're a fuckin' ace mate, to stilll be on here and telling us all that good news is all our good news is bloody amazing.

We had 14 eggs collected, 9 matured, 5 fertilised, 2 good enough to transfer on a 3DT. Embryologist lovely but said to DH "we'll monitor the other 3 but if you don't hear from us by Tuesday they weren't viable and we'll discard them". We didn't hear so they're gone.

Coordinator lovely but said to me, come in a day early so I can do your test and if it's negative I'll do a blood test as well to confirm it. Okaaaaay and if it's positive?!?!?!?

One word here EMPATHY!!!!!!! Try and have some!!!!!!

Juice they told us that they collect them and then leave them alone and don't check them again until Day 3 - does that work out in your case? A bit like don't keep opening the oven door to check your cake's cooked?

Chances are im not going to cycle again till august/sept/Oct but I need to just be here with you guys cos you are a bunch of eejits cos you make me feel sane.

I have a lot of prep to do before the next round and I need people to bounce ideas off too xxx

i do have the worst track record here though. 6 years and going for cycle 4. Fuck me Hmm depressing.

Tame I'm so sorry you've had such an horrific roller coaster - truly horrid.

Juice - you've got your polka dot frock on so go be a funk soul sista, strut your funky stuff and try and ignore the fact your clinic is being beyond pants as at the moment it's out of your control. Breathe deeply...remember the soul train..remember the soul train...

Rachel, flower hello :)

Time to go back under my blanket now, currently trying to work out my evil work bollox - turns out it's not as easy as just quitting (sigh) so am keeping my head down for the time being...

I doubt it very much we ended up with only 2 out of the 7 and only one of those was any good. I'm just so p'd off with my other half I told him I didn't want to start until he'd not been drinking for awhile, but he wanted to go for it, and even drunk whilst I was initially injecting. I'm so pissed off!

Karbea- we only got 4 out of 13 and we were pretty mortified. I hear how you are feeling but you need to stick together now more than ever. Xxx 4 is a good number, they may even be better quality than last time.

I'm already exhausted by this thread but in a good way IYKWIM.

Karb sorry you're upset but you've still got a lot to work with and the day to day emotional rollercoaster you're on currently will slow down and let you off soon. I (by passive aggression) bullied DH into not drinking when we were in full IVF flw but it made no sodding difference so don't stress too much.

Report
tametortie · 15/06/2013 15:28

Gotta say, the healthier my DH is the worse his SA results are. You couldn't make it up.

respisa are things any better with your DH? Have you spoken anymore?
