You don't have to be crazy to be on this thread but it helps

(Ladies, I thought I would jump in and start a non-sweary titled fred. Feel free to turn the air blue now!)

Morning everyone

mejust I've completely lost track, sorry, was it last injections and trigger yesterday? And EC tomorrow? WOOOOOO HOOOOO! you'll have enough eggs for you and the donor so don't panic Smile

juicy I have my ovaries, now they're empty, crossed for you. Please get me doin commando roles for you!

tame sorry about the pain, lots of hair strokes for you

good luck today euro xxx

I think ive taken Mr Wishes commitment to this treatment for granted. He has stopped drinking for 8 weeks (be loves to drink) and quit smoking which he also found difficult. He has huge social life and has been asked to go to the pub constantly but always turns it down.... I think I should do something nice for him today. Can I be bothered with a blowy? Grin

So... The clinic called. Was totally half asleep but he said ET will be Tuesday as they're taking us to blasto stage. He said today they should be 6-8 cell. We have 1x 8 cell and the rest are 6 cell so I'm guess that means all 11 are still going?? WOOP!

Karbea · 23/06/2013 08:17

Morning all,

Nothing to say but didn't want you all to think I'd forgotten you all!

MotorcycleMama · 23/06/2013 08:39

Hi Karbea - we haven't forgotten you either. How are you getting on?

Going to blasto wish - great news!!

I've just been for a long run, and trying to keep distracted. Tomorrow is EC for my donor - I hope she is well, and has lots of healthy mature eggs for us both!

tametortie · 23/06/2013 08:56

karbea morning me darlin'!! How are you feeling?

motor im sure she will have lots of eggs. I know this isn't ethical but mejust is sharing on Monday and you are receiving eggs from a sharer!! Coincidence??!! Im sorry you had issues with DH regarding cycling, I feel your pain. Hope he does well in his race today though and stands up a lot to get some air round his bollocks! Smile

juciy that chart is amazing. Did you sleep on the radiator?

euro good luck today! I think 3 eggs.

I feel amazing today. Still have some pain (but its the same as after the last mc, sure its Endo pain) and bleeding has stepped up a notch but I feel really well. Really positive and alive. I am going to do some gluten free research today and make a list of gluten free breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Can I show you all later and you foodies may have some ideas???

Xxx love to all xxx

JuicySausage · 23/06/2013 09:02

Wish, that is great news, really smashing.

Hiya, Karbea, how are you, love?

Motor, our donors are young wenches: of course she's doing fine. You're so close to your baby Smile

tametortie · 23/06/2013 09:03

Oh and wish!! Amazing news. I think this could be the best crop ever. Can't wait to hear your news on Tuesday! Xx

JuicySausage · 23/06/2013 09:08

As chief foodie around here, Torts, I shall be first in line to oversee your menu choices. It is brilliant to hear you're feeling this way, I so admire you.

Fabuluce: veggie sausages (absurd oxymoron); mustard mash (Satan's semen); and venison (downright queer). What's for tea tonight, missus? Last night I had home made cottage pie with green beans and broccoli and tonight I am making my chicken casserole with dumplings.

MotorcycleMama · 23/06/2013 09:19

I'd love to see your recipe ideas tame. Lovely thought that mejust could be sharing her eggs with me, but my donor has a female partner, so not the case unfortunately!
Your mc is dragging isn't it - I hope it is over soon for you, so you can just get on without bleeding and pain. I had ERPC and presumed that would be that, but it still carried on for a couple of days after.
Good luck euro!

tametortie · 23/06/2013 09:20

Last night I had roast chicken, peas, crushed new potatoes and lickle button mushrooms cooked in garlic butter and cream. Amazing.

Today, I want to use the left over chicken to make that chicken and spicy bean stew someone posted a link to.

I am also going to make a bug batch of pea and mint soup with gluten free stock cubes and see what its like.

tametortie · 23/06/2013 09:25

motor by my experience mc last ages. My last one was 11 weeks all together!! But I did have lots of retained products that time and I just bled lightly for ages. I feel really jealous of people that say they had a week of bleeding then got a period 4 weeks later [jealous] how do you do that??? I hope this will be shorter than last time but they still said I will bleed for 3 weeks.

Karbea · 23/06/2013 09:29

I'm ok, less than a week to go now. Having a pretty busy w/e, but involves a lot of alcohol temptation. DH who, drinks a lot, got drunk yesterday so we argued, he doesn't think I should be writing this cycle off yet, but I just know. So I just said every time he drinks it means we can't start for another 3 months, he drank ALOT in the run up (and during) this cycle.

Tame, I'd be really happy to do a similar diet to you and we can share tips. I was paleo for 5 weeks earlier in the year, just so frustrated I didn't keep it up.

What's everyone having for brekkie?

tametortie · 23/06/2013 09:32

What's paleo???

I was going to have porridge but now I think I will have scrambled eggs.

tametortie · 23/06/2013 09:35

And karbea sorry about your DH- sounds really frustrating Sad

Mel B said to DH yesterday that he could drink minimal amounts but she would rather he drank red wine that beer and only 1/2 drinks a week. DH was so happy, then she dropped the cycling bombshell.... Grin

wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 23/06/2013 09:35

Ummmmm...... Chocolate hobnobs..... Hmm

tametortie · 23/06/2013 09:39

Oh and she said no to decaf drinks. She said it is better to drink herbal all day then one really good proper coffee at night than to drink decaf all day.

DH drinks vending machine decaf all day and she said that is an absolute no no. So he is swapping to herbal all day and having a lovely proper coffee out of the cafatiere when he gets home. She said a bit of caffeine will help motility but its a fine line and it should be really good coffee.

tametortie · 23/06/2013 09:43

Is anybody else watching the parking thread in chat??

mejust · 23/06/2013 09:46

motor That is a nice thought i did think the same but i havent switched sides,im sure your donor will be great.you sound as nervous as i am,i kept waking last night dreaming of eggs and ops.no injections today and im actually quite proud of myself for getting this far as im a coward with anything medical but really want a baby .
I think your donor had nearly same amount of follies as me.

juicy are you calling me a wench, you never would. When are you testing today? its been a week since transfer yes?

euro Im hoping your ok this morning and got through it best of luck xx

well after the trigger shot last night i had few sharp pains and was really tired but yet again iv been up and down hospital past few days early morning,im excited, scared, and took great pleasure chucking the drug boxes in the bin ,my nurse said its sedation tomorrow so thats a light dose right, will i be asleep then?

wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 23/06/2013 09:53

mejust you won't be under general so you won't be asleep you'll be sedated so you don't feel anything. Some people say they can recall what was going on, others say they can't Smile

mejust · 23/06/2013 09:55

wish great news on your eggs how many will you put back,iv decided if im not at risk of ohss at the time and my little fighters make it ill put to back as this is my only chance i wont be doing ivf again, glad your feeling better.

tam with my miscarriages i always bleed heavy for 2 or 3 days ,i hope it stops soon x

Im just having cereal this morning

mejust · 23/06/2013 09:56

wish did you have general or sedation?

mejust · 23/06/2013 09:58

I meant two not to duh

tametortie · 23/06/2013 10:00

I had light sedation and could not remember anything. Na da.

JuicySausage · 23/06/2013 10:26

I think it was Fabuluce who linked to the achingly sexual, loin-boggling burlotti bean stew.

I've had Alpen for brekkie scattered with almonds and crushed brazils. I've also had a mini Toblerone, the consumption of which was rudely interrupted by a mouse running across my lounge floor Shock My two cats did little more than bother it mercilessly which meant I had to grab a tea towel and chuck it outside with th'usband cheering wildly from inside the house whilst peering through the window Hmm
When I queried why I, a potentially pregnant lady, had to catch the bugger he shrugged and said "spiders are my thing; mice are yours".

He wets his pants if he sees a spider Hmm

Mejust, I wish you would wash yer lugs out: I only had ET five days ago! I will test on Thursday, I think.

JuicySausage · 23/06/2013 10:27

Bare-botty stew Grin

mejust · 23/06/2013 10:34
