You don't have to be crazy to be on this thread but it helps

(Ladies, I thought I would jump in and start a non-sweary titled fred. Feel free to turn the air blue now!)

My scratch was four months ago Sad

tametortie · 20/06/2013 08:30

Scratch lasts 3-6 months I think?

Stop it juicy!! It will work!!

Karotyping is genetic testing of blood.

well worth doing as its only a blood test.

The TDL website has excellent info on the DNA frag test- I think this is well worth investigating if you have other sperm issue. Seems to be cheaper everywhere else than the UK as well!

Gonal f is pure fsh so its not LH affecting your eggs. Might be worth trying menopur next time as you might need the LH? Although you should have some naturally if you are short protocol- ask!!

Hope my rambling makes sense...

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 08:36

The 'scratches' last up to three months however, my cat left something in the region of a four-inch gouge in my arm last night so I reckon I'm deffo diffed.

He did have measles, german measles, encephalitis and malaria as a young child Poor little lad! Did he go out with wet hair an' all? Expat, I reckon the I'm A Celebrity producers might be interested in your husband's extracted ball-bag tissue.

Things are much better here today expat- very light flow and minimal pain. Going to go and have a cuppa with a friend this morning then will rest up with a movie this arvo.

I think you are doing the right thing by being mega prepared.

Do you have chip shops in south Africa?

expat that looks like a great list.

Is someone having EC today? I've lost track. Blush

I've just had my last scan for this cycle. EC has been moved from Saturday to Sunday. I have one follie that is ready now and three that are having a go, so they want me to stim for one more day and trigger tomorrow. Mr euro has been ordered to "refresh himself" tonight. He is supposed to be out on some sort of corporate lads' night tongiht, which he wasn't much looking forwards to sober anyway. He just sent me this in response to the instruction:

"It gives me an excuse to skip out early on the bowling & curry night, although I may need to be creative with the reason.

"Why are you off early?"

"I...er...I have to...there's this thing...OH FFS I HAVE TO GO AND ."
"

mejust · 20/06/2013 11:39

Thanks me. I thought it was wish or fish but wasn't too sure!

wish I hope you are doing ok.

expat I freak out a bit when I come round and try to run away. I mentioned it to the nurse today and she said "ye-es, I saw that on your notes". God knows what they have written about me. Blush It's not something I can control. I think it's something to do with the adreneline rush as they bring you round. My clinic uses sedation rather than GA, but it felt like GA to me and I reacted the same way. I'd go for local if I could I think, but it's not an option at my clinic as far as I know.

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 14:13

Aw, Zammo, they're fighting to give you more than one chance this cycle aren't they, those follies? I know you hate all that drug/artificial malarkey but it's lovely to know there may be a couple to choose from. Stay cool, love.
Cackling at your hubby Grin

Thinking of you, Wish.

I did a pregnancy test this morning (2nd morning wee) just to see the line from the pregnyl shot. I swear I had to squint; there really was hardly anything there Confused

Glad you're coping well, Tortie. What's everyone having for tea? I'm having brown rice, fish, broccoli and sprouts. Not to be noble but 'coz I fecking love it.

mejust · 20/06/2013 14:17

euro you and me both i think ill run out when they try stick the needle in my hand.

mejust · 20/06/2013 14:19

twinklestar2 · 20/06/2013 14:21

Joos, I'm having brown rice, chicken and broccoli

tametortie · 20/06/2013 16:29

Pea and mint risotto here.

I've tried to do too much today. I thought I felt really well and normal so went to see my friend, went to see my mum, went to aldi and now I've come home and I feel horrible.

Im going to lie on the bed for a bit. Im a nob.

MotorcycleMama · 20/06/2013 17:02

I think it's a bit early for testing juicy - though you know that! I guess it's quite good to know though that if you test positive in a few days, it won't be the trigger shot, it'll be because you are pregnant!!

I don't think I'm getting a trigger shot - what is it and what does it do?

eurozammo · 20/06/2013 17:04

mama the trigger makes the eggs mature ready for collection.

I tested mine out too. It had gone after 9 days, so I knew when I tested a few days later, it was a real second line.

eurozammo · 20/06/2013 17:09

tame naughty you for overdoing it.

My worst day was also a Wednesday. On the Sunday of that week, I had to do a transatlantic flight for work. I struggled massively to get my 25kg case on the check in belt. I just didn't have the strength. Take it easy! I have found spatone and a good diet has helped me back to fighting fitness.

wishicouldpokesomeoneintheeye · 20/06/2013 17:11

Hello Ladies (uuuurrggghhh)

I think its safe to say that the GA does not agree with me. I came round from EC at 9:30 this morning then was in and out of sleep with severe nausea until 1:30. I managed to eat something after they gave me something for the nausea at 1:30 so they let me go.
I travelled 45 mins home in a complete daze with DP waffling on about how it went but I can't recall anything he said! I got home and fell asleep, waking up about 5 mins ago! I feel terrible Sad

Juicy You are naughty doing that test but if i'm honest I tested yesterday before I've even had ET to see how the trigger was looking and it was very very faint. I know its there but I think by ET it'd have gone completely so I know any second line will be real.

Zammo well done on the four follies!

Mejust Did you get your jab in time?

wishicouldpokesomeoneintheeye · 20/06/2013 17:13

Oh sorry I forgot the important bit.... see I'm still miles away Hmm

They managed to get 15 eggs Smile

MotorcycleMama · 20/06/2013 17:21

Thanks zammo I imagine I won't need it with donor eggs, but am confused as juicy had it. I swear that comparing notes on treatments is bad news! Good news on your increasing follies, by the way. Good luck for collection.

Great news wish. Rest up, and I hope you feel better tomorrow.

Have any of you any knowledge, advice, opinion about embryoglue? I saw some flyers at my clinic (so guess they offer it) but forgot to ask them if they would recommend it for me, or what the cost is.

tametortie · 20/06/2013 17:30

15!!!

I think you are our top egg lady??

Well done!!!

X

Im gonna get some spatone- good idea euro x
